Best place to rent a car in the South Bay! Every car I've rented from them runs smooth and is super clean. Their customer service is top notch as well. Highly recommend for everyone whether your trip is near or far.

I had a very positive experience at this location. Way better value compared to the nearby location at LAX. I picked up my rental as soon as they opened, and I was in and out in under 5 minutes. Rented a very new RAV4, which was higher than a base model. No issues with it whatsoever.This location also has an after-hours dropbox to make returning the vehicle more convenient. I would certainly rent here again.

I had a pleasant experience at this location. Getting and returning the car was quick and painless. Agatha at the front was super helpful both times I visited.

I've wanted to leave a review, but for one reason or another, I didn't. I'm reading the reviews, and many people are having the same experience I had. The African American girl at the front desk IS RUDE. I watched her interact with certain people, and she's going out of her way to be pleasant. Her entire demeanor changed when she interacted with a family of foreigners. She became argumentative and dismissive. Another woman goes after them, and it's like night and day. She's personable, laughing, and commiserating with the woman about their past experience as customer service representatives. I'm next, and I obviously don't work there, so my questions might seem redundant to her, but again, I don't work there. I asked a question relating to re-booking my rental, and it was unclear, so I repeated what I understood. She responded, "That's what I just told you." But why am I surprised by this behavior...lol. sidenote** The guy who initially booked my rental had a great personality.****The rental cars rims were badly scratched up. Scratches all over. The interior was not clean.

The girl who works here is beyond rude. Lacks all sense of what customer service is. She doesn’t pick up the phone. It needs to ring for 5,min straight. And when she does she doesn’t give you a chance to say two words. Puts you immediately on hold - for over 15+ min!! They need to fire her. The owner/ manager is a nice guy. Cars are ok, as they lack inventory. I use to be a Gold Hertz member. The girl there tarnished my view of Hertz rental.

My first two visits here were pleasant in a highly stressful situation(which is why 2 stars vs 1). When I returned to return my vehicle, upon questioning some charges, I was met with immediate dismissal and rude behavior by someone i wanted to give good reviews about when I was finished with my rental. Upon telling this individual where she went wrong, all I saw was a facial expression that said idgaf what you are saying. Which leads me to realize I won't be using this location in the future, and no rides offered. This is why I still stick with enterprise, but I had no choice this time. I thought talking to them in front of management might help. But only the manager seemed to care. Which is why he's the manager.

HERTZ CORPORATE PLEASE READJust left this location. My sister's Hertz rental leaked oil all over my driveway when she visited. Extremely stressful. Hertz towed the car and we went in to pickup replacement and were told there "No cars. Go to the airport." It was 11:20AM and they close at Noon. I counted 13 Hertz cars in the lot with a QR code on the window. My sister and myself travel quite a bit and are gold members so I went back in to say there are 13 cars in the lot. The "manager" who said her name was Alice (I am still not sure if this is her name), said car renters are local and they picked up the keys in advance and left the rentals behind to retrieve later. For all 13 vehicles???? The gentleman there with her was worse and just kept saying "No cars available." As a test, I went online and was able to rent a car from this location easily so I said to them, "I was able to book a car through the app. If you don't have cars, how is this possible?" Alice replied, "This happens all the time and we must call the customer back to let them know we have no cars." TRANSLATION - There are 13 cars in the lot and neither of us are willing to go next door and run through gas station car wash and fill up the car with gas so you can rent it.Eventually someone pulled up in a dirty economy vehicle and returned a car. Out of desperation, we asked if we could rent the car to which she said. "I don't care at this point, I just need to get this done. You are very disrespectful." I said to her, "Do you care to see pictures of the damage the oil made to my driveway? You would be upset as well. We are the ones being inconvenienced here." To which she replied, Let's get this done so you can be on your way." UNBELIEVABLE. Now the time was 12:03 and her coworker who was equally unhelpful is there looking at the clock. It would have taken him less time to just fill up a car with gas and run it through car wash than it did to argue. They were both extremely determined to not work. Clearly evident. I sarcastically said to him, "It's 12:03, you should probably be getting out of here since you were off three minutes ago." I didn't think he would leave his "manager" there to handle us and another customer in the waiting area, but he collected his things, walked out and got into his car and drove off. I was completely beside myself at both of their unwillingness to do their jobs. After "Alice" rented us the dirty beat up economy vehicle, I said to her, "If you would had just done your job in the first place, you would have been done in half this time, but instead you put in all of this time to avoid working, you ultimately worked twice as hard in the end." To this she replied, "Goodbye Ma'am." Repeatedly as she was shutting the door on me. Renting a car has NEVER been so difficult, but when you have two people unwilling to do their jobs, it made this otherwise easy process terrible. GO TO ENTERPRISE Much easier. I normally don't waste my time writing petty reviews, but it was such an outrageous experience, I hope HERTZ CORPORATE reads this and gets some awareness about how much employees can hurt their business. Pictures below of some of the 13 cars that were "already rented and keys were picked up by renters and they were coming back at later time to retrieve their cars."

They chargea penalty if you're a 'no show', but, unsurprisingly perhaps, they do sweet fa if you do show up, but they then fail to have the pre booked car available. Useless if you're trying to rent a car

Booked a car that hertz accepted the confirmation for, came all the way here and they tell me they do not have any cars. Completely unacceptable, so not use this location

Booked a car on Expedia. Went to pick it up and they said the car that I booked an hour before was not available and would have to pay double. We needed the car so had no choice and plan on contacting my credit card company. They stared even if we had prepaid they would still have charged us more. Makes absolutely no sense. If you don't have the car we booked then give us whatever you have at no extra fee. Don't bother going here tots scam.

This review is for the customer service at this location, specifically Agatha. After dealing with a particularly difficult customer ahead of us in an extremely nice and professional manner, I knew we were in good hands. She was efficient and friendly, and helped out by reminding us that we could use our AAA discount for the rental. If you end up renting a car at this location, just ask for Agatha, and she'll take care of you!

They stole $500 from me by reissuing a ticket 2x and refusing to talk to me. I have proof from LA superior court. Very unfair illegal horrible company that's in a lot of trouble for other things right now. Don't rent from them.
