We have four family cars and have been coming to Riviera Car Wash for 20+ years. I typically get the Executive car wash which is $65. The last few times the vehicle has come through the wash and allowed to sit for 20 minutes, leaving water spots on the paint. Today, I raised the issue with the manager. There was no recognition or apology for the bad service... just gave me my money back. I will not be returning.Redondo Car Wash is just 5 minutes away. Will be taking my business there.

Just wanted to give props to the gentleman on duty the weekend of 10/21/2023, I think his name was Jose but I'm not certain. A piece of expensive sporting equipment, a carbon fiber paddle handle fell out of my trunk. I didn't notice til I was far away and retraced steps. He had seen it happen and grabbed it for me and flagged me down when I returned! What a guy! Thank you so much!

Terrible wash paid 60$ for in n out w rims . Rims weren't cleaned inside was barely cleaned at all. They neglected that I had to leave my car on or else it would start again after going through the machine .no I'm sitting here for the next hour.

Our first time here and at first the employees were kind and friendly. However, we were charged an extra fee that wasn't disclosed when we chose our package and add one. So when my husband asked the attendants attitude completely changed. They were rude and continued talking about us to one another not knowing my husband spoke Spanish. The manager had to get involved and needless to say we will not come back here.

I mentioned to the employee that it was my first time coming to this car wash, I asked him to explain the packages and charges. I opted for the $29.99 package because it included the tire shine. I problem began after I paid that I noticed a $2.00 surcharge for "large vehicle", not sure how an MDX would be "large". I went to the counter to ask about the surcharge, they sent me outside to the attendant, I explained that the surcharge wasn't explained to me and that next time it should be, he got the manager involved (not necessary), he immediately got upset for me even bring it up, I tried to de-escalate the issue but he insisted on proving his point. He was rude, aggressive, and was not willing to be rational. Never coming back here again, don't get your vehicle washed here, horrible service.

Went for an executive car wash at $70, upsold on arrival to a hand wax at $100 with the promise they'll take care of the car in great detail post-road trip. We even went through a variety of tougher spots (dead insects). Suffice it to say there were still lots of spots not addressed from front to back - including on the windshield. I would go back, but certainly not for any service above $30.Service: Car waxing

BEWARE: The manager will try to upsell you.Do not make the same mistake I did, I paid $45 for 90% of the same service covered in the $13 “early bird” basic wash, performed in the same amount of time. I was the only car there; there were 5 guys standing around while one guy haphazardly wiped my car down.There was dirt left on my car that came off just by wiping it with my finger. There were easily accessible parts of the interior that were obviously not touched by their wipe down. The glass had streaks and smudges.I could see how the $13 special could be worth it, but the staff here does not take pride in their work. Raising a complaint and asking for a better job will get you a blank stare before bringing the manager over and being asked to pay more for additional services.The manager gave me a “discount”, however when I looked on the website, the advertised price was the same as what I paid.I will not be coming back.

Sad excuse of a car wash today! I have been going to this car was for over 10 years and today will be the last time! Paid $55 for the spray wax... upon arrival to my car it was still dirty and full of spots! I knew something was up because the guy was done very quickly and rushed me off.. I got out of my car and started to clean the spots off my windshield... no one came over to ask me anything... The inside was not wiped down or vacuumed! There were only 2 cars there at this time so they cannot say they were busy.... They were all hanging out talking in the corner... I will not be going back!! You lost a long time customer today!

Try to over sell you like crazy… “Won’t be that clean unless you get the $55 package.” And they were right the $30 luxury package wasn’t good enough. Car came out dirty..Thanks guys.

We have been loyal customers of the Hollywood Riviera Car Wash for several years. We have five cars in our family and would take them there every month, throughout the month. A few weeks ago we brought our Ford Expedition in for a car wash. During the wash, our windshield wiper and motor was broken as it was going through the cycle. We then had to take the car to the dealership and they were unable to fix it due to a delay in not having the parts available. In the days following it rained harder than it has in years and we were unable to drive the car. The employees at the car wash/gas station were unable to help us. They had us complete an accident report, which was futile as nothing came of it. We called the station several times, and no one ever called us back. Ultimately, we flagged it to Chevron's corporate office and filed an official complaint. We then waited more than a week to receive a response, saying Chevron has no ability to take care of the damages, and the owner of the station is liable. The cost to repair the car was $1100 and has also been a huge hassle and inconvenience. We have still never received a call or any response from the owner of the station. Ultimately, the owner of the station should have responded and made things right. I would discourage anyone from using the station for either gas or a car wash. It has been beyond disappointing and frustrating!

Quality of work is terrible. I have been coming here for over 10 years but just keeps getting worse and worse. I will not be coming back. They have lost a long time Customer. Armando who I believe is the manager does a terrible job. The wheels on my BMW were still dirty after they were doing cleaning the car. I asked Employee nicely if you can clean the wheels because they were still very dirty. He said it doesn't get cleaned. I asked for a little towel and I cleaned it off myself showing them it gets clean. They called Armando over who tells me it will take the employee over an hour to clean these wheels. I showed him it comes off with a towel. They just have to wipe it. He says it is not part of the car wash. It is part of the detail. Every car wash I have been to has always cleaned the tires. To be crystal clear I was not referring to Armorall to the tired. Here are the pictures to show everyone reading this post. Hopefully the owner sees and discusses this with Armando. Definitely not coming back
