Deceptive practices. 6 years ago my wife and I purchased furniture for our new home. A kitchen table, bench and chairs, stool chairs for the island and 2 couches. The sales person asked if we'd like the warranty plan for the couches - we could get a service for the couches to clean them and if we didn't use the service, we'd get the money back after a 5 year period. I was skeptical and asked the sales person several times if this was a credit back to use at the store or the actual money back. He insisted, each time I asked, that we'd get the cash back if we didn't use it. 5 years later, we didn't use it and received an email with a CREDIT (as I suspected) for the additional $312 we spent on the warranties. I wasn't happy at all, and partially blamed myself for not reading the contract fine print and taking the sales person at his word, but at this point, we've now had two kids and were considering more furniture for the house. I didn't read through the entire email...because I have two toddlers who don't give me more than 3 minutes to myself to read any emails. When we finally got the time to return to Living Spaces to buy, I pull the email codes back up so I can use the warranty reimbursement - only to find out we needed to use it within 60 days or it's void. What an absolutely horrible business practice. To lie to customers, keep money for 5 years then only allow a 2 month window to use it. We were looking for a bunk bed for the kids, bench for in front of our bed and new dresser. Congratulations, Living Spaces, you sacrificed a few thousand dollars and customer loyalty for future purchases for $312. We won't be buying from you again.

Do not buy the warranty! Or from this company. Worst customer service ever! We bought an expensive leather sectional including the 5-year warranty after the salesperson told us that it covers anything and everything, even wear and tear for the leather fabric. A verbal contract. The recliner broke so we submitted a claim in August 2023. The tech came and took apart the motor for the recliner and then put it back together, he was very rude and then said he had to order parts. Then it fell apart with a loud bang as it hit the floor. After the parts came, 3 months later, another tech merely looked at the couch and said he needed to order more parts. After 2 tech visits and parts delivered to my house, 7 months later, I received notification that my claim is not covered. I didn't receive a call and only found out when I checked online. I am left with a broken recliner and unused parts and no explanation on what to do with the parts.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the recent experience we had with our furniture delivery. We purchased a sectional, four swivel chairs, rugs, ottoman, leather chair, and various other pieces of furniture from your company, with the understanding that we would receive them promptly. Unfortunately, the delivery process has been a nightmare. Despite emphasizing the urgency due to an upcoming event, our furniture did not arrive as promised. The delivery driver, despite indicating in a voicemail that he would wait at least 20 minutes, left before my husband could provide the gate code. The subsequent attempts to resolve the issue with Living Spaces have been incredibly frustrating. Contacting the actual store from which we made the purchase proved impossible, as all calls go through a call center or remote workers, leading to a lack of continuity in communication. Our main concerns are that our furniture is supposedly on a truck with no tracking information, and we have already paid for it. The company has not adhered to the outlined guidelines, leaving us in a state of uncertainty. We have been informed that we cannot even cancel the order until the furniture is back at the warehouse, further complicating matters. Given the severity of this situation, I am in the process of filing complaints with the Bureau of Household Goods and Services, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFP), and Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Living spaces sells furniture that's made in china and try to pass it as AAA quality but it's not i paid 1.8k for a couch that's been an issue since it was delivered the cushion is exposed because of a large tear it has from the low quality stitching I got the extra protection plan but my claim was denied its also supposed to be stain resistant but it's clearly not

I recently purchased a warranty protection plan from Living Spaces for my furniture, and I regret to say that it has been a thoroughly disappointing experience. I strongly advise against purchasing this plan due to the incompetence of the company and the dishonesty of its employees. From the outset, I had hoped that the warranty protection plan would provide peace of mind in case of any issues with my furniture. However, my interactions with the company have left me feeling frustrated and misled.

We purchased a sectional couch and had it only three months. The couches are starting to sag and cushions notably depressed on the corners. This is causing an indentation in a few areas of the couch. We contacted the extended warranty company. WARNING: The extended warranty company came out to evaluate the cushions after being sent photos of the problem. They DENIED the claim and are refusing to replace the cushions. I've read other reviews that they also deny stains. The extended warranty is a rip off. After only 3 months, no couch should sag. DO NOT waste your money on the extended warranty. We will no longer purchase furniture from Living Spaces. We've lost faith in your word in salesperson's deceptive promises when selling extended warranty and they obviously have no clue that the furniture is not built to last. Not even 3 months.

The furniture seems nice, but please take note of how the item looks in the store. I ordered a couch and when I received it the back cushions were not the same. We complained and asked them to fix it and they provided some cheap poly fill. It was ridiculous. The couch cost too much for it to be this trash. Never again. They made a mistake with my bed several years ago. It's still not right because they gave a platform bed box spring rather than a normal one. I believe the woman was so focused on the sale that she didn't pay attention to detail. When the bed arrived, the wrong box spring was provided. They assembled it incorrectly and had to return. All in all, I hope other furniture stores do better.

I'm big on customer service. And if I have a problem to be resolved I want to be able to talk to someone about it. Called a generic number for Living Spaces to discuss a probem on a product I bought from them. Kept getting prompts and then was told by the automatic messenger to contact the store directly, but every store and their website has the same number with the same prompts. I will not buy from them again and don't feel I should go out of my way to get some customer service to resolve the issue. Boo on them.

Our experience was excellent! As we were browsing we were greeted by a pleasant employee that introduced herself with a warm introduction & no pressure. We ended up purchasing all of our items at Living Spaces with the perfect assistance from Ms. Chasity. Thanks Living Spaces!

We were on the point of leaving as we could not find exactly what we needed when a saleslady approached. She was amazing. She checked with others to get answers to our questions she couldn't answer. She then showed us a ton of fabric options. Without her help, we wouldn't have found the chair we were looking for. Great service, detailed info about the delivery. A very good experience yesterday.

Robin at the Redondo Beach location was an absolute delight to work with today. She was super knowledgeable about all the product, asked all the right questions to help me narrow down my search for the perfect sofa, was super patient with me when I wanted to try every one a few times and was just a breath of fresh air. Wonderful employee!

Our 3rd trip to the 3rd Living Spaces in the Los Angeles area sealed the deal. All 3 stores we came across Amazing sales associates, we just wanted to make sure we saw everything LS had to offer. Lucky for us we met Destiny at the Redondo Beach store. She worked with us for over 3 hours to help us design our master bedroom and living room. She gave us Great ideas on making each room have a “Pop” and unique look. We are very grateful for her patience and expertise in design.

I drive to the Redondo Beach Living Spaces because i was told they had the matching tall dresser I needed as a floor sample. Chastity was super nice, find me the floor sample quickly, checked it over with me and then made sure In was getting the best price, due to its time on the floor. Then the logistics team wrapped or for me and loaded it into my SUV within 20 min. This is the second time I have purchased bedroom furniture at Living Spaces. The pieces I have bought, in this case from their Magnolia collection have been great quality and a a great price. I have shared this with friends who have commented on my pieces, and will continue to pass the word on.
