Worst experience of my life… with a leasing office.My wife and I called multiple times to inquire about available units. After various attempts and no response I finally got ahold on Sydney. I tried to introduce myself with warm conversation, but was immediately met with a rude and condescending demeanor. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and moved on, but she proceeded to be snarky and short. I scheduled an appointment to view an apartment but was never sent any sort of confirmation. An hour or so later, I received a call back from the leasing office to confirm my appointment. I expressed my frustrations with the office manager, and shared some feedback of my interaction with Sydney, in hopes this could be useful for improving there customer experience. Unfortunately I was met with even more sass and belittling tone. All though the units here look intriguing, I will definitely not be moving forward with Ocean Club.

Good luck getting a hold of someone here! Red flag #1 They don’t answer the phone or call back. Red flag #2 After 4 days of calling and leaving voicemails, you finally get someone on the phone, by the name of Sydney, who says good morning when it’s 2:30PM … clearly oblivious to the fact that it’s the afternoon. I wonder what she had been doing for the past 4 days? Definitely not working. Red flag #3 Forget trying to crack a joke, she’s seething with hate and rage and gets passive aggressive, rude, and condescending. Red flag #5 she never sent the information she was supposed to send. Sooo she again, doesn’t do her job, clearly. Finally, red flag #5 someone from the office calls you 3 days after your last voicemail - and when you tell her you had a bad experience with Sydney she says “Ok, that’s your opinion, and hangs up.”Don’t paint red flags green folks. The management is clearly miserable, hate their lives, and a clear indication that they will try to make your life just as bad. RUN RUN RUUUUN FARRR FAR AWAY!Oh, and Sydney + Staff … you need some real customer service training. I hope you guys get it, or new jobs. Whatever comes first. That’s my opinion. K bye :)

Has a nice vibe but you cannot get reliable internet to the rooms. Took me 6 days just to get something and then have only had about 2 days of solid internet out out 2 weeks. I really didn't know internet could be so bad. You only have one provider to choose from for internet and tv. And you only have one speed to choose from even though they lead you to believe there are multiple. If you need to do work out of here or want to watch tv you should reconsider. It is Sunday, and so far today no internet for 5 hours. Last 5 days have had it for about 30 minutes on and 5 minutes off. Their provider is Smartaira. It seems like their equipment may be overloaded. Whatever is the problem it leaves tenants without internet and tv. No technical support either. The wait can be from 3 hours to over 30 when you call.

Ocean club is the best. Absolutely love living here.The pool overlooks the ocean and we are walking distance, bike ride, or short Uber to all the fun the southbay has to offer. The staff are very kind and we really have a great community of wonderful people here. Also, a huge shout out to the maintenance staff for keeping the property so clean! Thanks ocean club!!!

As of this review. I received a 3 day notice from Wendy Zimmerman, saying that my request for a refund was harassment, they claimed that the broken fire detectors in my apartment that I asked to be replaced : were intentionally removed by me, they stated that my four level mattress bed, which sits on a brown leather bed frame are trash mattress on the floor. These are all lies and fabricated to intimidate me. These people are vindictive. Thank goodness for YELP AND THE LEGAL SYSTEM. I am reporting them to HUD and the department of weights and measures for not properly displaying utility usage to the renters. I am also looking into legal recourse for the items I returned and did not receive my refund, for the misinformation and harassment.Beware the wrath of the angry ladies in the leasing office!

My husband and I met with Wendy today to discuss leasing an apartment. She was really wonderful. She gave us a tour and was friendly and professional. She took time to answer all of our questions. Really nice complex. Clean and full of green space. We plan to make this our home for the next year or so.

Move-in experience was wonderful. Even though there was a glitch in terms of the unit I wanted, Wendy was wonderful and made sure that I was satisfied. Very helpful! Even watched my dog for 15 minutes so I could do something

I've lived here for about three years, and my experience was fine. I didn't have any issues with management, and the quality of the apartment homes was fine. The rent is somewhat overpriced, but it's California. Power outages rarely happen, and even when they do, the power comes back on in a few hours. In summary, it's a nice place to live with several amenities: a clean pool, friendly staff, a safe neighborhood, and very few issues with the existing homes.

I've lived here for over a year now. The amenities are always clean and serviced. The pool seems to be cleaned every day. One terrible office staff named Sunny is the only reason this place wouldn't have 5 stars from me. Her attitude towards tenants is very rude, critical and unkind. She behaves as if she hates people. I thought she only behaved that way toward me but I've heard it from other tenants as well. When I ask her a question she responds as if I should already know the answer, I don't work there, that's why I'm asking. It's gotten so bad that I won't go the property office if she's there. Some people should not be in customer service.

I moved to the Ocean Club apartments in Feb 2021 and I absolutely love it! My apartment is new and remodeled with breathtaking views. My neighbors are great, what I love most is that the Ocean Club is dog friendly!! There's a neat dog wash and a neat park next to the complex. The staff is also great, no complaints at all :) Highly recommend

Ocean Club is an amazing apartment complex. It's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. The amenities are awesome and the Ocean Club staff is amazing. I especially want to recognize Bryan Ruiz, who helped me fixed some of the issues I had in my unit today.
