Hard to follow the good directions, and when I did, google navigator took me into what looks like an industrial park from the street and right to the door.First time to the new office. Great service got me set up w. what I had had trouble with when the new software went in. Stress-free.

Unable to get to my regular Rosecrans location due to heavy traffic due to a sinkhole on Inglewood, decided to try and make my way over to the Artesia Blvd branch instead.Upon entering the make shift location,as their bank was in the midst of beingremodeled, I was immediately acknowledged and greeted warmly byBank Teller, Francisca Emordi.Francisca wore a friendly smile andimmediately welcomed me up.I had 2 money orders to deposit and Francisca asked if I knew how to deposit the transactions via my phone, cell phone, to avoid unnecessary tripsto the bank in the future.I replied that I did not, to which shesmiled and quickly offered to guide me through it step by step. She was highly enthusiastic, encouraging and patient and within minutes, happily guided me through the steps to asuccessful transaction.Needles to say I was thrilled, as was she,and could not have been more pleased that she took the time to teach me the wonderful world of modern banking. With much gratitude, thank youFrancisca for having gone above andbeyond to teach an old timer newtrucks

Can I give a less than one star review? This North Carolina bank recently moved into California. Customer service is non existent, on line service is pathetic and the branch is crowded with unhappy customers from the previous bank. Please save yourself grief.

Pete is the best. The level of Custer service and professionalism he delivers is un-heard of now a days. Ask for him when banking here

This is not a review of a particular branch, but of the system as a whole. Over a month ago I lost my Debit Card and requested a replacement. It still has NOT arrived. I'm now being told that because of the chip shortage, it will be several months before it arrives. Why was I not told that at the outset? This makes it impossible to access my money, make online purchases and continue auto-pays. Not a way to run a railroad. Very poor banking procedure. Now we have to go back to the old days of writing checks and cash. New technology was to make our lives easier - NOT. To much dependence on China, India, etc. This needs to be fixed

I had a banking issue that could have been a big problem. However, I made a call to the bank, and talk to Peter. He had great customer service, and listened to my problem. Peter said he would look into it. I got a phone call with in 20 minutes. He was calling to keep me updated. Peter said he had to make one moreconference call to get the conclusion. An hour later everything was resolved.Thank you Peter for saving the day!

This bank used to be wayyyy better than Bank of America, which the lines are absolutely ridiculous. OneWest bank has friendly employees and they always had nice music and a putting green inside to keep you occupied while you wait. Even though there was hardly any wait, it was such a nice environment. Last time I came in the music was off and the putting green was gone, I hope they bring it back and don't ruin everyone else's happiness cause one Karen left a bad review. According to her review she is gone now anyways. Additionally they always offer you water, they are so helpful and friendly. I really enjoy the light hearted yet professional environment. Even if you don't bring the putting green back, I'll still be your customer (but I really hope you do)!

Last fall I had to do business for my mother at One West Bank, Redondo Beach branch. I was really surprised to find such an unprofessional bank environment. Perhaps I'm dating myself, but when I think of banks and their employees I think of sharply dressed conservative people in suits sitting in a quiet "library like" atmosphere. Instead what I found at this branch was a very relaxed, retail type atmosphere, trying to feel hip and young. There was a portable radio on a banker's desk playing rock music (Aerosmith), loud enough to be heard from 20' away and most surprisingly, an 8' long putting green situated between four banker's desks. There was a bowl of golf balls on my banker's desk. I asked him why there was a putting green in a bank, to which he replied, "some guys like to hit some balls here while they're waiting." WTH? A bank is not a place for games or entertainment. Luckily, there was no one "golfing" while I was there, otherwise I would've had to leave or ask the golfer to stop because the strip of fake grass with the cup at the end was situated 2' from each of the four desks, so my private conversation and interaction with the banker would've been overheard and observed. My business with the banker was conducted quickly, although I discovered later that he neglected to complete several important documents. The banker I dealt with was professional, but the overall environment was definitely not. Several months later I closed out both of my mother's accounts.

Stay away unless you have all day. The worst customer service I have experience with OneWest. 1 teller who is in no rush. After 12 minutes I had to leave and drive to the Carson street branch. Useless!
