Another L for quest. This location is just as poorly run as the others in the South Bay. Doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. You will wait, and sometimes an hour or longer. Each location gives different instructions on what to do upon arrival. Avoid any Quest if possible.

I went in today to have blood drawn for my annual physical exam. I had never been to this facility before, but couldn't imagine I would have any issues. After all, what can go wrong when drawing blood and peeing in a cup? I was seen by Cynthia and she was rude from the get go. The office has a sign, suggesting that patients use a mask. I ask for one and she said they didn't provide masks to patients. I handed her the paperwork for the exam and the insurance card. She said they were not contracted with my medical group. I explained I had just changed medical groups but all the insurance information was correct. She told me she would need the name of the medical group and I asked her if she couldn't get it from the doctor's paperwork requesting the exam. She said no. If I didn't have it, I'll have to pay out-of-pocket. So I got the information and provided it to her. She never asks from which arm I would rather have the blood drawn. She never asked me to confirm that it is my name on the blood tubes. So I ask her to check if the tubes have my correct information after she was done drawing the blood. She shows me a sheet with labels that are not placed on the tubes and does not put them on while I'm there. This is 100% against protocol.

Located off Prospect in Redondo Beach. Came here due to my other locations I go to didn't have any appts available and this location had only one left in the morning and was the closest. The parking here is a little challenging since it's a medical building lots of people come here. They do have underground parking as well and that fills up quick too. The wait room area here is small. The staff was nice and took my appt on time. Overall not a bad experience here only downside is the parking and small waiting area.

The app is confusing. In person gives no assistance. The service isn’t good at all. No one will speak to you over phone and automated line is rigged to hang up call. Poor service

I showed up without an appt. a bit after 3pm, signed in..then was informed walk-ins were not being accepted, go online, come back tomorrow. I came back at 8am the next day, waited 2 hours, was the next to be called..I informed them I have a dr. appt. in the same building at 10am, could they bypass my name until I can return...answer "NO". I came back a little over an hour and signed in again, starting all over. They announced they close for lunch and if you haven't been called.......you once again start all over. If you are a walk in, don't bother with this place. So many people waited as long as they could then had to leave. Walk in should not mean you devote your entire day in hopes you will be called. On top of the inconvenience, the phlebotomists weren't friendly and gave the impression they could care less. A simple, "sorry you couldn't be seen" would have helped a bit. Quest is a big company, if they are so understaffed then don't offer the option of 'walk in'. Save yourself the trouble and frustration and go somewhere else.

Staff is great. However...in the past results were posted within days. Now it takes 7. Not convenient if you have a follow up Dr appt.

Rude. Disorganized. Terribly mismanaged. I had the misfortune of going there, after being advised otherwise by multiple people. I won't make that mistake again.

Usually, I have a great experience here. Today was a terrible one. I checked in at 11:00am and my appointment was at 11:30am. They have a waiting list on a tv screen in the waiting room. I saw people having 11:40am appointments get taken in at 11:05am. One by one people got taken in. Around 11:18am My name was taken off of the waiting list as if I would be called in very soon. The lady in room 1 today was super rude! She came out as I was standing at the counter waiting and said may I help you in a very sarcastic manner. I said I checked in a long time ago and I still haven't been called in. She said the computer wont let us call people in until 5-10 minutes before their actual appointment. She told me to go wait into room 1. I went in an my ID card was on the screen. When you check in here you are supposed to scan your ID. The fact that my ID was on the screen had to have meant that she was able to see my check in at the very least 5 minutes before she came out if not more. Also, the fact that she had my ID on the computer screen had to have meant that she already knew who I was before coming to the front desk and saying may I help you sarcastically. When the lady administered the blood work needle, I've never had in my life where there as pain going in, more pain while in and pain everlasting for 5 minutes after the needle was taken out. From 4 hrs later my arm is all black and blue. Shows just how bad she was. The same lady said that the dr will get my results in 4 days. Every other time I've gone the dr has received my blood work the same day. I like the place here, but I give the person who helped me in room 1 today an F for my experience with her.

Poor service and not enough staffing. Was told I cannot fill 2 orders at the appt. I also bruised which never happens. Will not be returning.

This is one of the worst labs I've been to. I had an appointment and waiting in the lobby feels like waiting to be sentenced. The staff was rude, harsh (I always bruise from their phlebotomists) and took in other people with later appointments before me. They requested I leave a card on file and although I was apprehensive, due to a fear of being charged incorrectly, they refused to perform the blood draw. So I agreed. Then lo and behold, they did charge my card incorrectly and I have spent hours trying to resolve this. Please do yourself a favor and do not come here.

Pretty bad. Why does Quest even suggest walk-in's are "welcome"? You get there and not only are you told it's near impossible but you can't get any other info whatsoever. Save time and agony and hop on over to LabCorp in Manhattan Beach. Hardly any wait (if any at all) and the girls are so efficient and friendly!

Looking at all the bad reviews, I was actually going to cancel my appointment and go somewhere else, but there was nothing open for the next week, so I decided to go. I actually had a good experience! Got called in immediately, and had no problems with my blood being taken. Bathroom wasn’t bad either. I was out within 5 minutes or less. Maybe things have changed up here

As an update, I will say I sent quest corporate an email describing my poor interaction, and somebody did reach out to me. I was told that they take patient satisfaction seriously, and would look into things at this particular location. I did receive a follow up message and appreciated the discussion I had with the lady that called me. The only thing I would say is when speaking to corporate and describing details of my dissatisfaction, she did say a few times as an excuse for the poor behavior that "they could have been having a bad day." Unfortunately, in the medical profession, that's not an excuse, and we should all know that before choosing this, as a profession. But overall satisfied with the fact that somebody did reach out to me because I did not think they would. Hopefully the phone call amounts to some type of change.

I made an appointment and was seen promptly. Unfortunately the technician kept pulling the needle in and out trying to find my vein. 2 days later and this is how my arm looks. I’m very disappointed
