Self checkout cashier Kevin was so helpful ! I just needed like two snacks and there were so many people will full carts he did an individual checkout for me. I was in a big hurry and I appreciate it so much. Lovely energy and all. ?

This is the worst Ralphs in LA. Completely understaffed for the registers all of the time. This latest time I went at 9 am they had ZERO people working the registers and a 10 minute line to use the three self check kiosks. I had my barely two year old and the lady in front of me had an infant she had to balance while checking out and dropping stuff while doing so due to having to multitask and do the check out persons job. I ask why there are no registers open and just get a glazed look of despair from the person behind the desk not even a reply. I have a week’s worth of groceries that don’t even fit on the self check out platform and all sorts of fruits and vegetables that need to be typed in and weighed while juggling a 2 year old.
I tell the kiosk lady it’s messed up that for over 15 minutes during normal hours that there are no registers open and she says what do you want me to do about it? I said you can tell your manager that the shoppers are not happy with this. She dismissed me like I was the problem and I just left halfway through my scanning of the groceries. I proceeded to drive down the road to Trader Joe’s where they had 5 smiling and engaging employees happily helping with the groceries at open registers with no lines. I will never spend another penny at this location and I easily spend $1,000 per month for my family of four on groceries.
I wasted 40 minutes shopping and 10-15 with the check out fiasco.
Dear management/ownership we work our own full time jobs and many of us are balancing family life as well on top of that. DO YOUR JOB. We should not have to do yours too!
You can learn a thing or two from the Calle Mayor/PCH location. That staff is always welcoming at least two registers open and remember their patrons and take the extra step to forge relationships with the community.
I would give Zero stars if that was an option.

Worst service ever !! No employees at 8:30 pm only one lane open and 14 people in line !! The self check out have 10 people in the line and I’m buying wines which can’t be purchased from there !! You guys are not a small company like QSR where they’re hurting for employees even though they’re paying them $20 an hour !! What’s your excuse!! I will escalate this further

Honestly been coming here for years and they constantly make it hard for customers to shop here and the experience is generally "wishy-woshy" here. I find the Ralph near El Camino college 10x better than here.

Waited 20 min to get a cake and no one was there to help out i as 2 employees to help me out and they ignore and said this is not our job very bad customer service will never come here again ??

Purchased prepackaged quacamole on Jan. 20th that had 2"x3" piece of avocado skin mixed in product. Poor quality control in Deli dept.
