We had our first class today and I can say my toddlers enjoyed it a lot , the teacher was super welcoming , caring , friendly ,she has a great and perfect attitude, they teach accordingly to age , the building is big and has a lot of rooms , costumer service is perfect , so far as a mom I love it , and I register both of my kids today for the school year looking forward to register my older boy on music lessons , so far for me this is a 4 stars place because we been there just for one day Definitely I will update my review after a few months , the only thing I noticed is that the paint on the walls In their classrooms looks dirty there are some stains but maybe this doesn't bother other parents maybe just me , and I think would be great if the the room for toddlers look more kid friendly lol , my baby girl was nervous and scared and started cry when she walk in the classroom , maybe some ballet decorations for kids will be perfect to make them feel more attracted and safe to their classroom, but anyway I register them based on my first day I think would be a great experience for my kids.

This school was holding its winter term dance recitals at the South Coast Botanical Garden on Crenshaw; outdoors due to Covid19? We were visitors at the botanical garden when we came across the little dancers and their families.

My daughter has been part of this school for over a decade. Watching her progress from toddler to company member has been truly fantastic and memorable for a lifetime. Liliana, and Michelle owner and manager have gone out of their way numerous times, they always give you the personal feeling of being apart of their family. Their priority is always the students and their well-being. Historically the year end performance is held at the redondo beach performing arts Center. Due to the pandemic it was relocated to the botanical gardens in PV, late in the season. Needless to say the pivot, last minute, to bring that production to another venue, with literally hundreds of students in different mini performances this past June, was a huge undertaking and one that should be commended. This remarkable feat can only be contributed to the amazing school runners and support staff of incredible instructors/choreographers. If you are considering a true supportive and dynamic dance school for your child with possible aspirations to go to a higher level of dance skill - we highly recommend this school - no doubt about it!

We have grown even more in love with SDM during this challenging time. Miss Rebecca M has been AMAZING during her Zoom lessons and the staff has gone above and beyond to stay professional and organized. We are very much looking forward to the new recital location. It may be the best one yet! Thanks Redondo School of Dance and Music!

Long over due for this review! My daughter started coming to this school in mid-late October. We were previously at Creation Station in Torrance for maybe 2 1/2 years, but we decided to change schools due to the high turn around rate in teachers towards the end. This school is super great! The teachers and front desk are super friendly and nice. Huge shoutout to Ms Ashlie! She's been nothing but amazing! My daughter adores her! She has a way with the little's. The school is pretty big in size with I want to say three maybe four dance roomss and not too sure how many music rooms they have. Everything is pretty nice and clean. Hand sanitizers readily available. Bathrooms are clean! Has a small bench inside just in case kiddos need to get ready before clasS or change after class. There is a stand for the smaller kids to reach the sink (huge plus! Not many places do this) Class is pretty structured and not so much "fooling" around. These kiddos have short attention spans, but Ms Ashlie has got it undercover without being a "mean teacher". At the previous school a lot of the kids would just run around and yell and scream not listen to the teacher and it would turn the whole class into a mess (it was hard ffor thE teacher to control it and parents did nothing to help the poor teacher sometimes and would get upset when the kid was taken out of class) No experience with recital yet, will update when the time comes. Until then highly recommend this place!

Love this school. My daughter has been in Becca’s class for a year and she loves it. Teachers are excellent, even when we do a make up class with another teacher. Great front desk staff. Recital next month - looking forward to it!

My daughter has been attending the School of Dance and Music for 6 years. The recitals are such a great opportunity for gaining confidence and a venue to share her talents. I have always been so impressed with how well run the recitals are. It's like clockwork. The teachers are nurturing, encouraging and challenging. It's a fun place to learn and grow in dance.

We are now entering our fifth year with the School of Dance and Music, and we literally have no complaints! Everything about this school is incredible! The teachers are so amazingly talented, the front desk staff is extremely friendly, and the families we've met are just wonderful!! My daughter has Ms. Autumn for tap and she absolutely LOVES this class! Ms. Autumn teaches with such enthusiasm that the kids literally never stop smiling while in her class!! It's great to see my daughter's growth from week to week, and I'm really impressed with the technique she's learned from Autumn in such a short period of time! Ms. Autumn is awesome!! My daughter also has Ms. Camille for ballet, and she is a brilliant instructor! She is encouraging and patient when she needs to be, yet firm when she wants to see more effort from her students. It's the perfect balance for my daughter, as she has progressed exponentially under Camille's tutelage! She practices at home daily, and can't wait for her next class each week! We absolutely adore Ms. Camille! The lovely ladies at the front desk are always so helpful and kind! Naomi, Michelle, Amanda, and Jayme always greet my daughter by name, which makes her feel extra special! The amount of time they put into making sure everything runs smoothly, especially the recitals, is phenomenal! The recitals run like a well oiled machine, and I know that is a direct result of the staff's hard work. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who loves the art of dance... You will not be disappointed!!

My daughter, Kylie, has attended this school for 10 years now and loves it! It is such a big part of her life and brings her so much happiness. The teachers and staff are fantastic and have my full trust. She trains in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and piano. She's also a part of the Ballet Company and SDM Elite team, so this studio is like a home away from home.

We love Redondo School of Dance & Music! Our daughter started at the studio at age 3 and now she is 13. Currently she is in the SDM Ballet Company and the SDM Elite Jazz team. She is thriving under the direction of Kara, Rebecca J, Brittany and Rebecca M. The teachers are professional, creative and caring. Equally important is that my daughter has fun with her dance friends and team mates. We are also happy with the administration of SDM. The office staff is friendly, caring and efficient. Our needs and/or questions are always answered quickly, happily and full of details.

I went to this school when I was 6,7,8, and 9 yrs old. Everyone was super nice and it was just the best time of my life.
