I brought my daughter in for her first time getting acrylic nails and the customer service was amazing. The nail tech was friendly and caring towards her. I would highly recommend!!

Made an appointment and when I walked in a lady who I assumed worked there because she was sitting behind one of the desks was working on her nails. There was no pleasant greeting just kept doing her nails and told me to pick a color. As I was looking I tried again to talk to her asking if they had a list of everything they offered pedicure prices etc. Without so much as looking up from her nails she says no. I told them never-mind and left. The place was empty and honestly it's no surprise. No customer service or personality? Way to run a business.

I've been here multiple times and it's always been great. Today's experience was especially wonderful with Jackie. She got me in and out without an appointment quickly. Did a really nice clean job. Prices were very reasonable. Nicely remodeled space, comfy chairs with a fresh and clean look. Highly recommend them!

First time in the salon under new management. Made an appointment for a Thursday @ 6. There were no other clients in the shop. The owner and manicurist conversed in Vietnamese while I sat staring out the window. There were a couple of small statement to me. Gel Pedicure was done in 30 minutes and after much discussion, they said it was $50. I told them it was too high because it is insane for the job, time spent and experience. Only payment method is cash or Venmo and owner was adamant that nothing be put in Venmo comments except "thx". Never going back.

I am not coming back here again ! My nails look nothing like the picture I showed the nail tech. My nails look bubbly and bulky. She cut my nails uneven and as I was trying to tell her she grabs my hands and said "don't worry". Then, she didn't not clean my cuticles and proceeded to pull my hang nails with her finger instead of using the proper tools. The best part of this is she was so impressed with her own work, she took a picture of my hand without my permission LOL!

Went in for a French gel manicure. Saw someone get dip French ombré So I asked if the guy could do French ombré with gel (I don't do my nails often so wasn't sure if that was possible) I even asked is that possible with gel to blend and get ombré? He said he couldn't do it but the other lady said she can do it so I assumed she COULD and KNEW how to do it. Once she started I got super anxious... it was not working out. I should have taken a photo to show but it was super choppy. Basically three parts, clear, a little white then white. Again not blended/ombré. Literally like three strips but with mountain range lines vs straight lines. They attempted to fix it but it was not working out. I usually just leave but it was so bad I asked if we could just do a solid color (to cover up the mess, I didn't say the mess part to them.) I chose a color and she ended up still filing down the gel and started over.If I knew she was going to file down I would have just asked her to do normal French but at that point didn't want to ask for anything and just wanted to leave. She did the solid color unfortunately doesn't not pay attention to detail. There was dust and I had to take it off my finger nail before curing. As you can see in the photos did not turn out great. I regret not staying with regular French and the guy. He paid a lot of attention to detail. If he finished something during the prep part but saw something in another steps he'd go back and make sure it was good. So I believe he would have done an amazing job with French or solid color. Again just the attention to detail he had during prep. I wished the other lady didn't say she could do it if she COULDNT do it. I could tell she was asking another lady nail tech how to do it, or what do you think or how is this, they kept going back and forth because it was not right. Super choppy and not ombré at all. They could have just said no we can't do that with gel and I would have been fine with regular French gel. As you can see also uneven layers of the polish. And now I'm stuck with these for the next few weeks...

I love Riviera Nails! I was a customer before the remodel, and then came back again today and the new salon is so nice! It is super clean and has huge windows so you get to enjoy the ocean breeze and people watch while having your nails done. The new chairs are SUPER comfy too -- they're extra wide and so cushy. Everyone who works here is really nice and does great work too. It's easy to make an appointment (but they also take walk ins) and the prices are reasonable too. I will come back as soon as I need another mani pedi!

Nail salon was clean and I ended up with a decent manicure and pedicure. I liked the opened windows and fresh air until a smoker passed, which was frequent. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend this salon as their chairs are very uncomfortable. Not only are the chairs stationary, non-massage chairs but it was nearly impossible to sit comfortably while getting my pedicure done. As a result, it wasn't a very pleasant experience, overall, and I haven't returned either.

Manicurist was very rushed and cut my cuticle so hard that it bled. The actual manicure was chipped within 12 hours.

ONLY CASH, VENMO OR ZELLE!!!! Tried to find a color that matched my original color and these were the closest they could find. So I said it's fine and I will get them done elsewhere and just do my toes here. She was trying to push me to get a color I clearly did not want. Ended up just settling for white nails. They're uneven. She got irritated and begin trash talking me in viet. I speak viet even tho I don't look like it. The lady doing my toes definitely needs to be trained. She started drilling my cuticles without saying or doing anything else? Getting a mani pedi is supposed to be a relaxing treat. This was definitely the complete opposite.

So, to be fair, I have been to this salon 2 times as I am looking to go to dip only, IMPVHO (in my personal very humble opinion) Acrylics too thick and unnatural, gels too damaging with the UV, etc... Anyway back to my experience. My first call for an appt a few weeks ago, Jackie answered and set me up with a same moment appointment for all dip mani with Tony, regular polish pedi with Phi (Fee). So, needless to say, Tony is the king of professional, neat and clean dip main's. Mine was a French dip (and we aren't talking sandwich, LOL) which is perfection intensive. Very nicely done, clean lines, and attention to detail for shaping, clean sidewalls and front edges. Phi, I love you! My pedi has lasted thru my second mani. French tip, square as requested and super neat. Thank you Phi So, that comment about the owners mother insisting that everyone gets their cuticles cut, well, I just had to ask cuz, ya' know, "enquiring minds want to know". According to new management, it was old management/previous owners. As for the mistiming of appts, scheduled vs walk ins vs approximate, in the salons defense, covid hit hard and slow to to rebound, especially given the "owner's mother" review, so please be flexible. And at the same time our input is appreciated so they can better serve me and you as their bookings and walk-ins increase. By second visit, Jackie did my dip with gel finish, and wine (or mimosas) accompanied by h'ors d'ouevres. The conversation ranged from Ukraine, to dip color to white, blush or mimosas. My 2 cents: not crowded, walk in availability, clean, professional, incredible range of dip colors, pedis are top notch, updated salon interior and fixtures, beverages. My second visit, a mani with Jackie, was like hanging at my girlfriend's while she did my mani. Thanks Jacki

On Thursday, 3/31 I had a 5pm nail appointment for a gel manicure with a friend who had the same appointment time slot. Upon arrival at 5pm, both manicurists were busy working on one client. When I told them we had 5pm appointments, the gentleman look confused but checked the book and saw our names and said they would be right with us. I was not attended to until after 5:30 and my friend's manicure did not start until 6. Not ideal for anyone looking to adhere to a schedule, so my friend had to cancel her workout and I had to cancel a wax appt. I was willing to over look the time issue; however, this morning on 4/3, I woke up with a chipped nail, which is completely unacceptable after paying $40 for a gel manicure that should last two weeks. Immensely disappointed. Pre-pandemic Rivera Nail Salon charged $30 for gel, they never chipped before two weeks, and they were very punctual.
