“As a man who wears a backpack, I'm happy to report this Goodwill is the only one which staffs people who don't eye me like I'm a criminal the instant I walk through the door.
Prices are weird and unpredictable, just like all the other thrift stores, but I find that one's like this, which are supposed to be the fancier, actually tend to have better deals than the supposed humdrum normal stores.
I like it.”
“This Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd in Redondo Beach, is NOT the closest one to where I live in Santa Monica- but I go out of my way for 2 main reasons: and drive 45 min each way, Here's why:1) This store is always so neatly and beautifully organized, that it's a sincere joy to find gems from fashion accessories to decorative items that I have purchased for myself and for gift giving, saving me $ and knowing that all of my money spent is going to an amazing worthy cause.2) The cashier- especially Sonya the cashier, is the most helpful, courteous, efficient and this young lady always renders great customer service with a genuine smile. This is reason enough to visit this Salvation Army store on Artesia Blvd.My kudos to the mgr- please accept my genuine thanks for a great job! After all, I am in the travel industry- and customer service is the heartbeat of what I sell.:-)”
“In this time of so many clothes going to the landfill, I love to buy at Salvation Army- it’s so much cheaper and the variety is huge. I really like the cashier, she is fantastic. Unfortunately I don’t know her name. Let’s get a badge on them so we can appreciate good service. She is really tall, short hair, African-American.”

“This is located in a park where my sister and I shopped, so tried to check it out. The aisles are organized and clean, clothes are neatly arranged and the overall experience is positive.”
“So happy to find this little Children's Hospital thrift store in the Los Angeles area. I moved here from the bay area and volunteered as well as donated to the Children's Hospital there Bambinos.
Today I donated some really nice jewelry to this little thrift store. I want to support the cause Children's Hospital. It's so very well organized. Plus I discovered some tremendous treasures all at great prices and I couldn't say no (LOL) This will not be my last visit.I Love this little thrift store.”
