I would like to advise customers, that you should be careful when buying Value Corner Fat Free Milk from Vons on Beryl. Though the expiration date on the milk says March 25, it was turning on the 19th and definitely sour on the 20th. This also happened last week when I purchased milk there. I am a Smart and Final shopper, but because my mother is not feeling well and I have to shop for her, I didn't want to go to two places to buy groceries. I have never been happy with this store since their remodel, over 10 years ago. I will go back to Smart and Final for myself. So disappointed in this store, no better than a 7 Eleven store, we all know that.

Courtney is the florist at Vons and she truly exceeded all expectations with her artistry and attention to detail. Courtney's arrangements are a true testament to her talent and creativity, bringing a touch of elegance to every bouquet. With a keen eye for design, she managed to capture the essence of what I had invisioned and brought it to LIFE, making our special day an even more delightful experience. Her commitment to quality and personalized service truly set her apart, making Courtney an invaluable asset to Vons' floral department. Someone from Von's corporate needs to promote this lady, she's incredible!

Employees need to learn proper ID laws. Getting rejected, threatened with the police, and told to leave for presenting an out-of-state license to buy tobacco is absolutely insane.

Was just there to get flowers and there was a lady behind register of flower department. I asked her to cut flowers and she said they do not do that. I was confused and said normally they do. She said flower person left. All the while she staring at computer. I asked her to call for help. She said she will after she is done. I waited and she said she has a deadline. Is it only me or what have things gotten to.

Just left this store...stood at the bakery for 15 minutes waiting for some assistance. There were no other customers there, so they weren't busy. A girl called for some assistance for me twice. No one came. Even though at least 4 store employees saw me standing there and just walked past. As I said I was the only person waiting and i was pacing and looking around as I needed a birthday cake....I won't be back

I love this store, because of the employees. I shop Monday and Friday evenings and want to give a shout out to (in alphabetical order): Anthony, Derek, Destiny, Garret, Hailey, JZ, John, Natalie, Ruth (miss you Joanne and Patrick)! More often than not, my dream team is JZ or John, Garret and Derek, and I am grateful to them for making shopping not just a have to but a want to. Please take good care of them! Thank you!

I left my cell phone at a self-checkout station and the girl in Customer Service was so friendly, cheerful, and professional when I went to retrieve it I'll continue to be a faithful customer forever.

This place is very disappointing to me. I won't go into the same detail I did with corporate. I will confess this: 1) the deli advertises a new sandwich line 2) the store DOES NOT order enough deli bread so they stop selling sandwiches (that are awesome) up to two hours before close (in my experience across both REDONDO. BEACH locations). I putting the regional director, general manager and deli managers on blast for this. Why even have the brand new LED menus on if you can't sell sandwiches. 3). I got an employee to sympathize with me. He decided to open a prepackaged bread roll from the bakery section and make me a sandwich at 6pm...two hours before the deli closed. It was an amazing customer service experience. I was thinking Vons was a top tier grocer. 4) I was so happy with my previous sandwich I went the very next day to get another. Again the deli had no "deli bread." I was cool with a prepackaged bread and instructed the same employer from my last experience that the replacement would suffice. He told me he was told he could not help a customer in this manner again due ti being reprimanded. He that said to not tell anyone. 5) I asked corporate to have the GM (theta not the title they use) to contact me to explain. That said they would. Instead some assistant reached out. You can't even get a simple request right. I said in my letter I'd wait for the General Director and instead his assistant reached out. I'm done.

Used to be my favorite store. They rarely have anything in stock anymore and there is one women who works at the meat counter that is always very rude. She was working this morning when I went in around 730. She clearly dislikes her job and it shows.

This 1-star rating is directed to Vons corporate management. I shop at 6:00 AM when its faster and easier for me to do my shopping than later in the day when its crowded. I've been informed by the former cashier that there will be no more cashiers to ring up the customers in the early morning hours. All customers must now ring up their own groceries on the self-serve machines. This is a problem. For starters it takes about 4 times as long for me to get through my entire shopping basket than it does for the former cashier to ring me up. They have training in swiping techniques, they have more room to work than I do on the small self-serve machine and they know all the produce codes. For me to have to press an extra button to make a keyboard pop up, then to type in the variety of produce, then weigh it is ridiculous. There isn't enough room to "work" when I have a shopping cart full of groceries to ring up. Something always goes wrong, and when it does, the software on the machine gets to a point that a live former cashier needs to be called over to fix whatever the problem is. Then if I have alcohol, I have to spend even more time on the checkout process because the former cashier has to ring up the alcohol separately, while I struggle with the rest of the order. This is all so frustrating. Smart & Final on PCH in Redondo does not have self-serve check-out machines and they open at 6:00 AM. From this point forward, that is where I will be doing my early morning grocery shopping. Sorry it didn't work out, Vons. You lost a customer and the former cashiers will all soon be losing their jobs. It's a lose-lose for everyone. :(
