Brian's skills are truly remarkable. After just one session, I saw a significant change in my 9-year-old dog Bronx's behavior. I had initially thought it was too late to train him, but Brian proved me wrong. Despite thinking I understood Bronx after all this time, I realized I really lacked the knowledge to communicate effectively with him and establish trust between us.I so wish I had started training him earlier, but I'm immensely grateful to Brian for imparting invaluable lessons on dog training and life in general. My sessions with Brian not only helped Bronx but surprisingly were really insightful for myself as wel. I've already verbally recommended him to all my friends with dogs and now shouting it to the world as well!

Brian Lee is like the Bruce Lee of Dog Trainers! Put what you learn into your dog, if you don’t, the only one’s fault is yours! If you are looking for some real deal training for your dog, stop here. I rescued an abandon anxious professional escape artist husky from the pound. I could not leave him home alone, I spent hundreds of dollars on dog sitters. By the 3rd session with Brian I was leaving my dog home alone. You the human put in the work for the reward. Brian is the best!

I highly recommend Brian for any of your training needs! Our dog would bark incessantly out of fear anywhere we went. At 3 years old, I was concerned we had waited too long to get him trained. After working with Brian and doing our homework, our dog made VAST improvements in just 4-6 months. We can take him anywhere and he is well behaved with no barking. We are grateful to Brian for helping change our lives.

Brian is awesome! We brought him 2 wild German Shepherd puppies and he taught us how to make our lives a lot easier by training us how to train them. It has made a huge difference. I've been a dog person my whole life and didn't realize how little I knew about dogs until going through Brian's course. I highly recommend going to him--a happy dog is a well trained dog and a happy dog owner is a well trained dog owner, that's what you will be after a few sessions!

I didn't realize how much I didn't understand about doge behavior before my session with Brian at Way of the Dog.We have an old pup that we got at 8 weeks old. He was exposed to many situations from the start, so he is the sweetest and gentlest around all animals, people, and situations. A couple of years ago we got an 8 month old dog rescued from a hoarding situation. He is a sweet, sweet boy, but you could tell he was fearful in some situations. I won't go in to details, but an in incident in our home led me to Way of the Dog. I didn't want a trainer. Sit, stay, rollover weren't commands I was immediately interested in, rather I needed to understand my new dog. I needed a behaviorist - someone to help me and my family understand why dogs do certain things or act certain ways in various situations. My search for the best behaviorist in the South Bay led me to Way of the Dog and Brian Lee.I am so glad my journey led my family to Way of the Dog. Brian didn't work directly with my dog, but rather worked directly with me and family. He forced us to acknowledge how our actions (or inactions =/) and behaviors directly affect our pups. He guided me in dissecting and breaking down emotional barriers I had created that prevented me from being the best leader for my dog. Brian helped me gain the role as protector of my pup, so he can learn to relax and trust me in all situations, and that has made such a difference. With the help of Brian, I have not only become more confident in raising my dog, but more confident in myself. Brian gave me the tough love I so desperately needed to become the leader my dogs deserve.Thank you, Brian, for forcing me to "grow through what I go through" and transforming my life! My family and I are forever thankful!

Our dog Sylvester developed severe anxiety around stranger at about six months old. For about four years, we couldn't have anyone over without him barking non-stop and snapping if anyone got too close. The first time he met Brian, saying his name was enough to make him spend the next five minutes barking. The lessons weren't a simple fix, it does take work, dedication, and consistency. But over the last three months, the changes we've seen have been beyond anything I expected. He had his first grooming appointment today, without us present. Didn't bark once.

Brian Lee is a master. He has helped with training our dog who has become a pleasure companion. His psychological approach to understanding the interaction of human and dog behavior leads to a safe and happy home. Brain’s wisdom regarding dogs gave us many tips on how to reframe our behavior and how to create an amazing dog. He is direct and straightforward in his communication. We found him to be a delightful partner in helping us to understand dog behavior patterns and our roll in shaping our dog’s behavior.

The Best Trainer in southern California. I have a 110 lb. Long haired shepherd that was untrainable. After failing 5 highly rated trainers I met with Brian. He worked with my shepherd, Bryson, after 2 sessions he suggested talking to my vet about prescribing canine Prozac. I look at Bryson now and keep thinking is this really the same dog that was untrainable and uncontrollable. Bryson is focused, attentive and remarkably trainable. Amazing change. THANKS BRIAN!

I highly recommend Brian and his program. Previously, we had almost given up on walks due to our dog's reactivity (leash pulling, barking, general anxiety of other dogs). He was also very anxious in the house despite being on multiple medications and had bouts of separation anxiety. We knew we needed to see a trainer if we wanted to regain our quality of life.Brian gave us the tools and practices to set us up to be the masters of our house and provide the rules and limitations our dog needed to be successful on walks. Our dog is now very comfortable at home and confident in his daily walks. We can’t recommend Brian enough. He has changed our lives and as a result our dog’s life too.

I cannot say enough positive things about Brian and his program. Upon relocating to California, my dog's separation anxiety and reactivity increased exponentially, to the point walks were no longer enjoyable (leash pulling, chasing, general anxiety of everything) and I couldn't take him to public places (ie, outdoor patios) without chaos ensuing. I knew I needed to urgently address my dog's behavioral issues if we wanted to regain our quality of life.Fast forward to the end of our five sessions with Brian, I frequently get stopped by strangers in public to compliment my dog on his walking, manners, and overall demeanor. As a petite female, I now have complete control of my male 85lb German Shepherd Mix, and I no longer worry about him reacting to something that I physically cannot control or stop. Not only can he be left alone again without barking and destroying the house, he sleeps until I return home. This program has transformed my dog entirely and strengthened our relationship for the better – we owe it to Brian for his commitment to our success!

Brian Lee has an anger problem. He kicked my tiny puppy and banged his fists on my table because I shared what Brian wanted me to free feed my puppy with my Vet. He was worried that he wouldn't get recommendations from that veterinarian anymore. He went on to say that my dog would become vicious and would bite children. Well my dog is 10 years old now and has never bitten anyone. She has titles in Obedience, Rally Obedience and is an Agility Champion!!! She loves men, women and children. Brian Lee is not responsible for my dog's success. Just the opposite because I had to undo the fear he instilled in her!!!

I have known Brian Lee since 2007. He has trained our Labradoodle, Shitzu, Goldendoodle and now our White Swiss Shepherd. His methods are so common sense and because of this I was able to continue my training to have two of them certified as therapy dogs. They have worked with children for the last 12 years. I would never have gotten there without Brian's guidance, positive encouragement and training. He is by far the best dog trainer I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Brian gets the Gold medal.

Brian is awesome. This training is most definitely for the humans of the family, and you have to come into it with an honest and open-minded approach. It can be hard to hear you're messing something up, or that your idea of how to co-exist with a dog (spoiling them, for example) is wrong. But just think of it this way: if you were doing it right on your own, would you be on Yelp looking for a dog trainer? My boyfriend and I were at our wits' end trying to get our 1.5 year old GSD/Husky mix to listen to us. She was great if we had treats, but otherwise would tend to blow us off. She liked to chase and harass our cat, which was stressing us and the cat out big time. She was occasionally dog reactive while on leash. And off-leash obedience? Forget it. Our house wasn't a peaceful place. Brian taught me how to establish myself as the HBIC (my words, not his lol) and earn the respect of my dog through some very simple and non-invasive techniques. Honestly, after adjusting my own behavior in the house after our first session, we saw some pretty incredible results. Now after completing the whole program, my bf and I keep looking at each other and exclaiming what a joy our dog is to be around. She listens to us, never reacts on leash, we're experimenting with off-leash work (with success so far), and she even is leaving our cat alone. She is also still her silly, fun-loving self. This training is very balanced, and fair to both humans and animals alike. Brian asked us a ton of questions about our household, let us ask a million questions about our dog's behavior, and gave us some knowledge bombs that have changed everything. We even joked it's the closest to couple's therapy we've come! I honestly feel that my dog is safer now that I have been through this training, as I don't have to worry about her being reactive to other dogs on leash or being fearful of people. Brian taught us how to make sure she knows we are her protectors and have her back no matter what, and it's made a world of difference.

Went to Brian with a pit bull that wanted to eat every dog and skateboarder, was terrified of kids, overly protective, disobedient, and just generally terrifying. With a lot of work, learning, changes, and patience, Brian helped us transform our dog into a kid-loving, dog park going, ultra-obedient dog. Since then, I have been able rescue, foster, and rehome an aggressive Chocolate Lab. Thanks to Brian's teachings, I saved a dog's life, changed our dog's life, and changed our dog family forever. Thank you, Brian!

I hired Brian to help me with my German Shepherd who was having issues with other dogs. I highly recommend his services. Thanks Brian!
