“I have a 1915 Tiffany lamp stand that my mom purchased many years ago in a roadside antique shop. It had once been painted and poorly stripped and its reconfigured wiring was a fire hazard. Matt Shields rewired the lamp perfectly, with much care to match wiring and pulls. He also refinished the metal stand beautifully. I can see now what my mom had visualized when she bought the stand. I'm so grateful to have found M.Shields.”

“Awesome place! I stopped by one day and discovered they were the former owners of a fantastic Antique Shop in Redwood City that I frequented often. That location closed during Covid but so glad I found them again! Wonderful things! Beautiful clocks. I collect antique phonographs and music boxes and they had quite a few. Stop by and browse. I'll be back again for sure.”

“I stopped by this place for a small beautiful gift for a friend who's birthday had recently past. The lady there was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hand painted plates, authentic quality items. I would love to come back here whenever I get my own place! I got some gold hand painted plates and some cute nic nacs. She had blank cards too so I didn't have to stop somewhere else for a birthday card.”

“This place is AMAZING!!! Such an incredible selection of vintage furniture, home goods, decor, glassware, bags, and tons more along with some more modern stuff from brands like Crate and Barrel, Hearth & Hand, etc. The more you look, the more you’ll find. The store owner Valerie was also so kind and friendly - she helped me look for things and even helped me carry everything out to my car! Definitely plan to come back.”

“Wow. Steve just delivered our solid oak coffee table. He picked it up about a week ago, as the top finish was wearing off. He refinished the top using six thin coats of lacquer, and the job looks better than a factory finish. Pick up and delivery was included in the more than fair price. A+ in all respects, including being on time, which is very rare today.”

“This is hands down one of the best vintage stores! The owner is super knowledgeable. I purchased an Eames fiberglass chair shell without a base three months ago. I asked the owner if he can help me find a paring base. Now at the first week of the new year the owner found a perfect matching base for the shell and reached out to me. I feel so lucky to have discovered this shop?”

“Are you moving, downsizing or going through old card, postcard, coins or stamp collections passed down from generations? Looking for a collection shop that has FREE appraisals and whose business has been passed down through generations? Look no further than Abro Stamps! I stopped by a few days ago to give my family's stamp collection and Alan was highly knowledgeable on the collection. He followed COVID-19 procedures and the process of appraisal-to-payment was contact-less and seamless. Highly Recommended for Everyone in the Bay Area!”

“Wow, this place is amazing! Not a hodgepodge junk store. These were serious antique pieces to die for! They know the value and there are few items less than $50. If you are looking for a quality item, check them out. Unassuming front entrance, but jam packed with lots inside. Staff are knowledgeable and eager to help. Beautiful furniture and glassware that I wanted to take home and many, many more treasures. Come and see!”

“Such a sweet little unexpected gem, full of treasures and trinkets, antiques and vintage jewelry. It's the sort of shop your grandmother or somebody's mom might've run back in the day, you'd be able to get lost for at least an hour rifling through random little things, odds and ends, e.g. books and artwork, necklaces and earrings, rings, little board games and the odd bit of clothing you thought you'd never find. The prices are also from yesteryear. The display of merchandise is also oddly adorable and artfully placed. I didn't have my phone when we went inside, or I so wished I could've taken photos. Oh well, next time.”

“The antique store was perfect, had a ton of extraordinary things, and didn't have the smelly smell that such a large number of comparative stores have. Enthusiastically suggest.”

“What a gem of a find! A hidden mix of treasures, both antique and new. The gentleman working there was finishing some pieces to add to their inventory. Deceiving from the outside, I thought it was going to be a small shop... but there was so much to explore and admire. I tried my best to keep hands off because as most of us know, antiques can be pricey. But they have some affordable stuff as well!”
