I stayed at the Best Western Inn during a rough time.. I live locally, and I met up with the manager " Bhavesh" He came across like a nice guy originally.. I stayed at the hotel for about two weeks.. I did not have any problems until one night someone above me was smoking a bunch of marijuana, into my room through the bathroom fan... I told the guy that worked the graveyard shift about it, and he refused to change me into another room, nor refund my money back or give me the hundred dollar deposit that I had put down so I could leave.. it was freezing cold out... I had the option to sleep in my car at that point or go back to the room. I went back to the room and got stunk out all night and felt awful the next morning. Honestly, the hotel itself was OK. Other than that one incident...Recently I decided I would come back to the hotel. Since I needed a room for the night. I found out that I was on the DO NOT rent list!!! The guy called the manager and Bhavesh, did not give me a reason why he would not rent to me, but basically told me to find somewhere else to go...UNREAL!! It"s total discrimination and profiling... I DO NOT Recommend this Hotel!!! ( Diamond member)

Best Western doesn’t disappoint, as usual. King room is very large. Room 219 was clean, newish carpet, comfy, yet firm-enough bed, nice, new sheets, plenty of lights. Shower had strong pressure and hot water. Towels were basic, BW-issued and not great, but fine. Heater wasn’t too loud and worked well. Some train noise, but not bad, at least on this side of the building, not facing the tracks. Breakfast was fine for this level; eggs were edible, bacon fine, and if you want a good breakfast , Stacks is next door. Computer and printer in the lobby. Friendly staff, easy online registration, low cost for the area. Would definitely recommend.

This Best Western is a reasonably good value for staying in the Bay Area. It's within 45 minutes of San Fransisco and a little closer to San Jose via 101. The CalTrain is literally 50 meters from the front door; the stop is about a half mile south. It's about 25 minutes from Stanford in Menlo Park on El Camino Real. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and a FEDEX at the corner of Whipple if you need some business support. The staff is very helpful, and the building, while dated, is well maintained. The WIFI is a tad slow, clocked at 10 to 12 Mbps on Ookla. This location is a good value for both business and vacation travelers.

Filthy hotel. Stayed two nights for my son's soccer tournament and got eaten alive by bed bugs. Cockroaches everywhere. Elevator wasn't working. Nasty musty smell throughout the hotel. Rude and unprofessional manager - Mr. Ed Davis.

I spent 2 nights this summer (2023) at Best Western Mapple Ridge near BC, Canada. The hotel was ok, but they have not returned the deposit of a few hundred dollars to me, after 6 weeks now. There was no additional room charge, the hotel also acknowledged. I called them several times, and only got to the front desk, and always couldn't reach to the manager. I asked them to let the manager call back, but no responses. I also called the BW customer care twice. In the first call, I was told it should be resolved in a few days, and no need to call BW again. One week passed, I called the customer care again, and I was told to provide credit card information, which I provided alreaday at check-in. It is ridiculous for such a small issue BW can't resolve so far. Imagining this not only happening to me, BW needs a serious financial audit for its practice. Not recommended. Watch out!

Do not buy the breakfast rate--you pay an extra $20 for them to give you a $10 voucher to the restaurant next-door. I was willing to pay the extra 20 dollars for the in-hotel breakfast no matter how shitty it was going to be. I just wanted to grab a banana on my way out for convenience on my way to an early morning work day. when I checked in they gave me a $10 voucher to the restaurant next door and did not explain that this was the breakfast that they cover, they were unwilling to give me a refund for something they did not clearly advertise on the website nor clearly explain during checkin. A very frustrating experience. False advertising and poor customer service.

Overall, not a bad hotel. Stay was comfortable and quiet. Downside is there's no laundry, if they had laundry it would get full

Cecilia at the front desk is very sweet and helpful. The breakfast options are nice, easy to fuel up before work!Walkability: Public transit and convenience store near by. Laundromat is across the street.Noteworthy details: The aesthetic of the property is really nice. I like the golden hour look outside through the window.Lot of food and drink options nearby, or quick ride share.
