I don't drink but had to pick up some beer for a friend's party recently. This place seems well stocked and even has a small section for snacks, foods, cups, etc. Their beer section also had a fair amount of local beers (which I wanted). It was about $15-$20 for a four pack for most beers. You will need to show your ID to get it scanned at checkout. There is also a small parking lot outside.

Place on online order for 8 items for pickup. Site says 30 minutes 3 hours later I get a cancellation saying an item was out of stock I walk in an hour later and pick the items off the shelf myself. Everything in stock.

If you order through a delivery service, be sure to have the driver check the order is correct before heading to you. I have ordered multiple of the same item several times, and on more than one occasion, they have only sent one one of that item. Otherwise, they are great.

I like that they usually have a pretty good selection...- BUT their pricing is often catty-wumpus. They have one product for $4.99, and they have the same product at twice the size but it costs $10.99 which is MORE than twice the price. They need to send the people in their pricing department to a basic maths class.

Bevmo as a chain is and has been my favorite liquor store in the Bay Area. They've got a great selection, good deals, and the store is always clean. It's easy to find what I'm looking for, and the staff is always nice and courteous.

Been coming here for 10+ years, but had a horrible experience yesterday. Went with my family and my mother who is in her sixties, and my mother jokingly asked if she actually had to show her ID. I know the stores policy to card everyone and typically the cashier will just laugh or apologize and say that it’s the store’s policy, but this employee was incredibly rude to my entire family and said that if we don’t like it we can leave and we shouldn’t come back. I called later to file a complaint, and an employee named Brittany apologized for his behavior and said his name was Rosevelt (I was in around 7 pm on 5/25). The employee should have a lesson on customer service, I’ve frankly never seen this type of behavior from a customer facing role.

So I stopped by today with my friend that happened to be 20 years old and I was getting a 24 pack of modelos and a bottle of Smirnoff I go up to the counter and the guy seems like he hates his life and the fact he has to ring me up rolled his eyes at me and everything and then he proceeds to ask for ID which I happily take out but my friend informs him that she's not of age so he's like I can't sell you anything bc she's underage to which I responded well I'm the one buying it so what's the issue and he said well she was walking around the store with you and talking about alcohol and I said well ok but I've came here before with my 13 year old niece to buy hard liquor even 3-4 bottles at a time and never had a problem and she was never asked for ID and they both look the same age wise and then he said well that's our policy I'm like ok so if she goes and waits in the car or I just come back later I can buy it then since she won't be with me in the store and he said nope I can't sell you anything anymore now or later and I was like ok so if she came in with me and stood with you here at the entrance by the registers it would've been fine since you said one of the problems was she walked around with me and he said nope still wouldn't sell it to you and I just proceeded to walk out. I simple went down the street to Safeway bought the same thing and my friend even helped me carry it out and was never asked for ID, it's just plain dumb like what if I was a dad and had my 10 year old kid with me since he's not of age I can't buy anything bc I'm also not leaving him in the car alone.

I came here a while ago with my wife to buy some wine and snacks to celebrate the good news we had. We got what we needed and went to pay. Introducing the cashier Mr. Quinn. This guy was so rude and full of attitude, it almost felt as if he was doing us a favor. What a turn off this is. I usually give rude staff more than one chance to act professional before saying something, but this guy was clearly not doing his best job. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, or he doesn’t like his job, but whatever the reason was, we don’t want to deal with this type of behavior. We are customers buying products from a brand with real money, and this is not a reality TV show. If you don’t like your job, then quit and find something else to do that makes you happy. But if you’re going to work in retail directly with customers, you need to ensure you treat them with respect. Be professional and polite so customers like us leave the store with a good experience. It’s the only way customers will keep coming back to buy more products. If you’re not a people person, you will damage the reputation of the business you work for, one day at a time.In the end, I called the store same day and talked to the manager about our experience with this employee. He told me he was going to look into it. We’ll not shop here again, and that’s on you Quinn. There are many other options in the market and we know we deserve better.

Their new ID requirements are patently ridiculous, my wife and I (mid 50's) were in the Redwood city location on friday evening at about 6pm, ( we're there on a weekly basis and spend quite a lot of money) We did not have a basket but walked up to the counter carrying three items, they asked for ID, which I produced but they wanted my wife's ID also because "she had carried up one of the bottles", she did not have her ID with her, I honestly thought they were joking but nope, so i suggested I walk back to the shelf and grab another one myself but again, nope. And like others have mentioned in their reviews, the staff member was almost giddy with how powerful he felt in telling us "We would not be buying this particular bottle tonight". We left all three items at the checkout stating we wouldn't be back! Total Wine will be getting our business moving forward... extremely knowledgeable, helpful employees and much better prices anyway at Total wine! Way to hurt an already struggling business with ridiculous business practices/policies and power tripping employees! See ya!

Don't waste your time. The dudes working here think they're way more important than they actually are. They are rude and only "help" by yelling at you when you're walking away. Two people walked in to buy a 6 pack. 1 of them didn't have a physical ID, had a picture of it but he wouldn't sell it to them. Then the first person with an ID and a 3rd person with valid ID go in to buy the 6 pack and they still won't sell it to us "by association" although they had never seen the 1 person without and ID and the 3rd person together. Again - only chirping at us when we were walking away. The ONLY reason we even had to go was because BevMo didn't deliver the right order in the first place. We went down the street to a different BevMo and was only asked for 1 persons ID so clearly this is not a "BevMo policy"
