This is the worst chase bank in the nation. I have been a chase customer for many years in different states. And THIS branch is hands down the worst one. The gentlemen who hits in the office in the front was very rude, unprofessional. Avoid this branch.

We had a very bad experience working with Bao H Nguyen, branch manager at Chase Bank at Redwood Shores/Redwood City. We had a relative passed away recently and hoped to get some bank info of this relative who has an account with Chase as a successor. 1. Form: He told us our form was wrong. Instead of giving us the right form and providing us guidance what to do, he asked a few times who told us to use this form and which person at this branch. Apparently he cared more to blame this person than correcting the mistakes... I feel bad for that person.2. Date: he told us that we need to wait for another 14 days to do anything. I had to correct him that the person was died over a month ago. Apparently he did not use his brain and just counted his calendar and counted wrong...3. Mailing address: he told us that we need to wait for the notice in the mail from his legal dept. of the next step. I asked which address to receive the notice? He said the deceased address. Then we told him that the deceased person's old address is no longer valid because he passed away and asked if he can let legal dept know to send the notice to our mailing address? He said NO. and can only send to the died person address. It does not make sense to me. Again, he does things based on book, NOT HIS BRAIN. Agreed 100% with other people's comments. Bao Nguyen was extremely rude, very unprofessional to treat his customers, NOT qualified to be banker or manager. We do NOT recommend anyone to work with him. He does not want to HELP people, PEIROD.

I recently opened an account for the 1st time with this Branch as I live here in the neighborhood for 35 years. They referred me to a guy named Bao Nguyen. This guy was the rudest, most unprofessional 'banker' I have ever met and dealt with in my life. He literally made me feel like he was doing me a favor by opening an account with him. He has ZERO customer service skills and terrible language problem. I have no idea how he got a job with a bank like Chase but he is absolutely the WORST. Her was asking me dumbass questions like where is your money you will be depositing coming from and how much do you make... He tried to teach me finance 101 at that. (I'm a retired former small business owner for 40 yrs with over 180 employees). He kept saying "if you no tell me, I won't open acct for you"...I'll be send a letter to upper management soon. I'll be closing this account soon also.

This is the worst Chase branch that I have ever been to. Bao, the branch manager, is very rude, incompetent and unprofessional. They have screwed up my accounts which resulted in my accounts being frozen for a week resulting in my transactions being rejected. I called and emailed them multiple times, but until I physically went to the bank they didn't take ANY actions. My email was literally sitting in his inbox without him reading it, until I showed up at this branch. He was even denying that I emailed him. People at this branch need to be properly coached to be responsive, professional, and be respectful.

Would not recommend doing business here. I came to deposit a check. When the cashier saw the amount, he asked me what it was for. I thought it was strange to ask, but mentioned it was for a home downpayment. I didn't think much of it after that.Fast forward a few hours, I get a call from the same Chase Bank branch. They asked if I was interested in a home loan with their bank since they knew I was searching for a home. I find it absolutely unacceptable that they passed my information along to their loan department without my permission. It feels like an invasion of my privacy. Will not be coming to this branch ever again!

NEVER EVER USE CHASE! Run away as fast as you can!!!!! Someone stole my debit card information and they are holding me accountable. Hundreds of dollars stolen from a “non chase atm,” but since my PIN number was used, I am responsible even though I have evidence that I was not at an atm at the time of the crime and I had my debit card on me.
