March 2024 by Cynthia D.
I just came back from the new CVS pharmacy in Redwood City Broadway location. I brought in my disposable camera to have my film developed. The young lady behind the counter told me that they no longer develop deposable cameras. This is not true as I looked on line CVS website at their location where CVS not only develops disposable cameras but also sells them. I'm perturbed because this woman lied to me doesn't know what she is talking about turned me away. On March 21, 2024 around 5:45. I feel that the lady being the only one behind the counter didn't want to be bothered! And asked me if I wanted her to throw out my disposable camera which I thought was very strange... ( I told he no I want to get my film developed and asked her where I can have my film developed then she told me to try the UPS store...) That's what made me question her intentions Plus the fact I still that I still need to get my film developed! This young woman needs to know that this isn't good business for CVS...

Never have anything I want in stock. Person I spoke to was rude as heck. Service is slow at best. Customer service is unheard of

I need an inhaler for my pet and I have a printed paper prescription with a pen and ink signature but the pharmacy manager wouldn't take it because some other manager has a policy that any prescription that isn't hand written from a pad is a photocopy and not acceptable.

Im so disappointed that cvs moved from Broadway to Bay Road they fully built a new one on Bay Road but when I walked in it looked so outdated and small inside when it looked large and modern from the outside this 1 star is for the architects.

I find it awful that they had to move to a new location because they want to build more and more apartment buildings which are unnecessary where they used to be really great businesses, CVS had to move across Woodside Road because they're closing the shopping center where used to be, the new location has not opened yet, but I've moved the map so that it's already located at the new location, the new location from the outside looks stunning and more modern, newer and more beautiful, the big CVS logo, when entering the store with the heart and a photo of all employees is very nice touch

CVS regional managers need to pay a visit to the location. Understaffed, dingy, and expect a 30-45 minute wait for a prescription pick up. Store manager has been told more than once but doesn't help when needed; front counter staff are fine with people waiting in extended lines up. Head to Wlagree

Terrible pharmacy. Called and told me my prescription was ready, that I could come pick it up in two hours. I show up 3 hours later and after waiting in line for 15-20 minutes am told that I need to wait another 20 minutes for them to give it to me. Then after I show up to pick it up 20 minutes later, am told to wait ANOTHER 15 because it still isn’t ready. This building should be flattened like all the ones next to it.

Terrible pharmacy. Was on hold for over 25 minutes waiting to ask about a prescription that was submitted at 3pm and still isn't appearing on the CVS site. I called back and the front counter just transferred me back to the pharmacy department where I sat on hold for another 10 minutes until the official listed closing time. I guess my Covid medication will have to wait until tomorrow, if they can manage to figure out my prescription

Waited for 25 minutes for a 5 pm pickup only to have the “system go down.”

This pharmacy is never open, and they never pick up their phone so you can't call ahead to find out if they're open. Their actual hours do not match their posted hours and they change without notice. When they are open, the lines are very slow as they are dramatically understaffed. The staff is nice and doing their best but corporate has clearly set them up to fail. There's also no bike parking and they yell at you if you try to bring your bike in :(

This is the worst CVS ever. Not sure why it wasn’t flattened like the buildings next door. Someone needs to put it and it’s “customers” out of our misery. Service is terrible. Never have prescriptions ready. 3 hours ago, now they just back from luck so need another 15 mins and now this is the line. Customers? What is this strange animal that deserves service ?

They had one cashier and no check out. I stood in line with a single item, visibly pregnant and exhausted, while the cashier argued with the gentleman in front of me about the price. After 20 minutes of patiently waiting I asked her very politely if I could please buy the allergy medication I needed as I needed to pick up my toddler and she literally rolled her eyes at me, said "you could if we had a second check out" and then went right back to arguing with the man like nobody else in the world existed. Don't come here unless you have literally no other drugstore options in a 5 mile radius.

I've been going to this CVS for a year and putting up with the long lines. They are often out of what you need at the pharmacy.Whomever is managing this store is doing a disservice to it's employees and customers. I will never go to this CVS again.
