I arranged for a rental car several days in advance and told I could get a standard size sedan such as a Camry, but when I got there, hardly anything was available so I ended up in a terrible, tiny car with a filthy windshield, many scrapes and dings, and windshield wipers that don't cleanly wipe the windshield. Doesn't anybody wash the cars before renting them? Aren't the cars maintained? This car is very noisy and the engine acceleration extremely weak, to the point that I wonder if there's something wrong with it. The people I spoke to on the phone were very positive, but the person I dealt with on the lot was disengaged and not particularly interested in my business. I'm concerned that I may be charged for some of the damage to the car, though I took lots of photos before driving off. Over the phone they said I'd have choices, but it seemed to be between getting a very small car--well below what my insurance allows--and a car that I would have to pay extra for. Another problem is that there's a peculiar smell in the interior, and it's raining so I don't want to drive with the windows open. No manual, either, though I was warned that people often steal them, but it's difficult to operate an unfamiliar car without basic information. Another problem is that the tank wasn't full; I was told this was noted, but again am concerned that I might be charged extra for returning it without a full tank. I was told that all the scrapes, dings and bumper damage don't matter, but again I'm concerned that this may not have been noted (it isn't in the email.)

My daughter and I rented a car from this location for a 3 day trip down to Southern California. Jeremy H. and the crew were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely rent from them again. Price was affordable, and the vehicle we rented worked out perfectly. If I could give 10 stars , 5 for Jeremy H. and 5 for the vehicle!!!

READ CAREFULLY !!!When you take a car make a DETAILED VIDEO AND PHOTOS OF THE CAR. When you will return the car, they will put on your hands all invisible scratches, there is no way you can proof you’re right and it’s not your fault!!! These guys will do everything to charge you extra!!!!!

Great service in the Redwood City location in California. I needed a Van, they called before to inform me that they might not have it because of busy holiday. But somehow they managed to get one and reserved it for me .

I had a car accident that totaled my car, and it was a nightmare, to say the least! I was encouraged to look for a rental car agency,that also had sales. My mood brightened, when I chose Enterprise in Redwood City. I phoned, and spoke with one of the sales people, Gustavo. He was very knowledgeable, and walked me through the process. The car was washed,detailed. and I took a test run. Roger, one of the managers, guided me through all of the options available, and was very clear. He did not try to sell me on anything, but respected my choice. Clint was another helpful person, who handled the actual sale and payment. I have to start off by saying my experience at enterprise rental in Downtown San Jose was horrific. It made me question ever renting car from this company again. But today, when I went to drop my vehicle off at this location, it was a complete 180. The manager (I wish I could remember her name.) was truly amazing. She went out of her way to make sure my experience was a good one. I can't think her enough. So if you're gonna rent a car come to this enterprise !!!
