Not a good mechanic, a GREAT Mechanic. A Mechanic's Mechanic! He's been a mechanic his entire life, and has a sixth sense when it comes to cars and repairs (He drives a Jaguar V12). And on top of that, he's honest and nice.
Had to replace shocks on my Infiniti G37SC. Dropped the car off, and it was done quickly at a reasonable price.
My Son's G35C's window wouldn't go up. Was fixed the next day...bad motor. Also completed at a very reasonable price.
I've been using Garaffo's Auto Repair for about 20 years.
I drive 40 miles to drop off my car here because he's the best!!
You can't go wrong with Garaffo!!

I found Garaffo's Auto Repair via YELP's high reviews many years ago. I've been going to Jim's since and recommended him to many folks. He's a super competent mechanics and especially very nice and honest person. My husband also loves Jim. We highly recommend him and hope he stays around for many years.

My car started making awful noises right after I’d taken it for an oil change. Luckily Garoffo’s is nearby, and he was open on a holiday Monday (when I was supposed to be driving for a ski trip). He diagnosed it as the transmission fluid having drained, and thereby saved me a bundle, and possibly from having to get a new car! He also fixed a broken clip on my fender which I hadn’t even mentioned to him.

A good mechanic you can trust is worth their weight in gold. We've been going to Jim Garaffo for help with our cars for years. So many times we thought we were looking at a really expensive problem, and he found a simple and less expensive solution. Other times he would not only fix the problem we knew about, he would help us prevent the next problem. He's honest, reasonably priced, reliable, super helpful, and very skilled at what he does. We won't take our cars anywhere else. Jim and his team are the best!!

I was referred here by a longtime customer from my church. I was not disappointed. The owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and explains clearly. Both times he serviced my vehicle in a timely manner- much quicker than I expected. His charges seem fair and reasonable-both times I was pleasantly surprised.The location is on a main accessible road, and unlike other garages, parking is abundant. The facilities and bays are clean.After my last visit, I returned the next day due to 3 new warning lights. Turns out I inadvertently pressed the Four Wheel Drive button, which generated the warning lights. He kindly fixed the problem, didn't laugh in my face, told me what to do next time, and didn't charge for his precious time and labor. I was out in 15 minutes.I'll be his newest repeat customer!

Jim is a great guy! I find that he's trustworthy, fair in pricing, easy to talk to, and doesn't give people the runaround. I go here for my routine auto repairs and oil changes. Recently, we had a catalytic converter stolen from us. If you know the current situation surrounding these parts, then you know they're super difficult to find. I called Jim up and he told me to bring it by that day!! Fast forward a couple of weeks once our insurance claim was sorted out. Picked up the car and drove off today! We're incredibly grateful that Jim was able to find the parts we needed and complete the repair when most other shops will tell you the same thing. "They're back-ordered for months". Leaving us SOL. I recommend Jim to anybody in the area and will definitely refer my friends and associates to do business with him! Thank you so much for all your help, Jim! You really helped make this entire process with insurance go smoothly and saved us a headache. See you again soon for my next oil change!!Services: Vehicle safety inspection
