Planet Mix is a nice little gem in Redwood City with a huge collection of retro items. The store offers tons of vinyl records, CDs, tapes, DVDs, and retro video games. The selection of vinyl mostly consists of jazz, blues, rock, soul, funk, and oldies. The video game selection is extensive, covering consoles from Atari to PS4, including Nintendo, Sega, N64, Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 titles, with a few gameboys too. They also have a ton of movies.
It is a great spot for sample digging, with turntables in every room so you can try before you buy. Customers may come across a few quality or rare finds if they have some time to do some digging. The pricing is decent and affordable, offering the right value. The display cases are constantly changing inventory.
The staff is friendly, amazing, helpful, and chill, providing great conversation and treating customers like family with plenty of patience. The store has a mural featuring Ryu and Akuma from Street Fighter outside. It is a great spot to explore older libraries and is definitely worth checking out if you have some time to spare. Many customers return regularly to support the store and find specific treasures.

Service amazing! They have lots of great selections of DVD's CD's and retro video games! The price is the right value and has awesome titles like Mario games.
