Hi guys, A lot of times, people write reviews to complain and say all the bad stuff. But when it all goes right, they do nothing and just carry on with their day. Well, my girlfriend and I went to Redwood City Nissan on Saturday (08/16/2025) and everything went right! I was still awake on the early side of late the night before, just looking at some Nissan Zs. I put together a build on Nissan's website, selected Redwood City as being relatively close, and sent the request for quote thing. Like 20 minutes later, I'm talking with Galen. He was off work already by like a couple of hours, but on his own time, took the initiative to call me. Wow! You just absolutely do not find that level of customer service in the world anymore, I was super impressed with him! We talked for maybe a half hour, business and just shooting the breeze, and set up that I'd come up the following day. When my girlfriend and I arrived, Galen introduced us to his manager, Dan. Equally impressed with Dan... the two of them were great! Friendly, made my girlfriend and I feel like we'd all been friends for some time, no high-pressure nothing, and in fact, they set us up for a test drive just she and I. It's a 2-seater, right, so a bit challenging to have my girlfriend and Galen go at the same time. The drive was *amazing,* so now it's just down to getting the perfect color combos. Long story short, I have been to a lot of different dealerships over the years... Nissan, VW, Toyota, Mercedes, Jag, BMW, and on and on. Redwood City Nissan is hands down the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Galen and Dan are not only super chill and cool to work with personally, but they are genuine. I know a lot about behind the scenes financing of cars from the dealer's perspective and how less than ethical dealerships can take advantage of a general person's ignorance. Dan and Galen are straight shooters. They provided detailed info that they didn't have to provide me with. I'll be buying a car from them... and if you're considering a Nissan for your next vehicle, you should, too!

Initially took my daughter's car in to have new tires put on, didn't have any problems during that visit, but was told that the breaks needed replacing soon and scheduled an appointment to bring it back in a couple of weeks to do so. When we returned the vehicle for breaks, we returned to pay the bill and noticed that air filters were added to the job. My bad, I should have looked closer when we signed the estimate, but I do not recall agreeing to replacing the air filters during a break job. Then when we went to pay the bill we were advised that an additional 3% would be added to our bill if we chose to use a credit or debit card, which was not the case when I paid for the tires. I'm not accustomed to carrying nearly $700.00 around, I don't feel it's safe. They do not accept checks. So much for customer service. Fortunately for our family we are not tied down to a service contract with Nissan.

Avoid Redwood City Nissan Infiniti - Dishonest Sales Tactics & Poor Customer Service I had a terrible experience at Redwood City Nissan Infiniti and would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest transaction. I traded in my vehicle for another car, but they pressured me into signing paperwork before I was even allowed to test drive or inspect the car. Within a month, the car started having issues that cost me money. When I reached out to the dealership for help, they gave me the runaround for days, only to eventually tell me they couldn't do anything. Their lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand behind their vehicles is unacceptable. If you're considering buying from this dealership, be extremely cautious. Make sure you test drive and inspect the car before signing anything, and don't expect any post-sale support if problems arise. I regret trusting them and wish I had gone somewhere else. Not to Mention the Sales Manager is giving himself 5 star google reviews

I think the steven creek is maybe a better choice if you really need to go to the dealer. I do not think they really care about your car.

I wouldn't trust Nissan Redwood City after the scam they pulled on me. I took my 2011 Murano which showed a Supplemental Restraint System blinking fault light. They charged me $260 for diagnostics which consists of plugging in their computer for 5 minutes. They said the fault was a sensor which would cost $780 for labor and $1,220 for the part to fix the problem. Although the car is only worth $4,000, I decided to have them do the repair. After paying them $2,220 for the repair, they told me that didn't fix the problem and now they need to replace the seat cushion which would cost more than $4,000. If I had known it would cost me more than $6,220 I never would have had them do the first repair. I know am now out $2,220 and still have the exact issue that had when I first brought them the car. I asked them to have the service manage call me, but no call so far.

I had a 1:15 appointment on Friday to fix a problem with my backseat seatbelt. Delante immediately came outside to take a look. His associate Jacob came over and in 20 minutes and one tool, they fixed my seatbelt. I was shocked how helpful and quick they were. In a day and age where customer service can be hard to find, it's alive and well at Nissan Infinite.

I have to say, Nissan did a great job, in particular Jerry Wong my Service Representative. I was in a bad way, my car wouldn't start and it need to be transported to the East Coast where I moved to. It got towed to Nissan and Jerry assured me that it would be taken care of. It could of been anything but it ended up being a blown fuse and they also replaces a recall item. Very happy with Redwood City Nissan and Jerry in particular he is a valuable asset.

In really disappointed in Nissan. While I've only had my car in for repairs twice, both times were really annoying. The first time (different dealer), they had my car for 6 weeks. This time, the repairs took a week longer than promised. I rented a car, dealer said call customer care, customer care didn't care. If someone would have kicked in a LITTLE on the rental, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset. I was very clear that I didn't expect them to pay 100% of the rental. Since nobody could chop in 100-200, Nissan had lost the sale of whatever car I buy next.

Excellent personnel. They are very responsible, considerate and informative. You can ask them any question about any service and they will be patient with their replies. They even asked me to postpone a service when a other Nissan branch insisted that I get it done asap.

I am writing this review because I do not want ANYONE to go through what I went through with this maintenance/repair team. They have put my life was put in danger due to their NEGLIGENCE AND MISCOMMUNICATION.
In mid September 2024, my car (nissan altima hybrid) broke down in SF without any warning and stopped working all together. Due to the fact this was a hybrid car, I decided to take this to the Redwood City Nissan Service team to get to the bottom of the problem and correct it quickly since I need my car to work. Nissan Service stated the issue was ignition coils and spark plugs that needed to be replaced based on the diagnostic test total $2k. I agreed to their cost and they proceeded with the work.
As soon as I receive the "fixed" car and drive it I hear this new, weird ,and persistent noise that is coming from the front of the car. On Monday morning ~9AM I call and they tell me that I need to pay for another diagnostic so they can figure what the issue is. I tell them you handed the supposed "fixed" car like this so the re-diagnostic should be in warranty and also please send me the first diagnostic report because I never received it. They replied the diagnostic report is the quote which is bullshit and honestly tells me they only looked at turning the car on and getting it out of their service shop. They did not look at the overall problem with the car even though i paid for a diagnostic test of $350!
I get pissed but its Monday and I have to go to work so I can pay these mechanic bills (so far down -$1,500 in one week). The next day Tuesday, the noise continues and finally in the middle of the 101 highway about enter the bay bridge in peak traffic hour 4PM the front of my car starts smoking! A loud noice comes out of the car and I am terrified the car is about to be on fire so now i am stopping traffic in the middle of the highway and with a smoking car. Long story short...I get it towed again 2x time in less than a week. As a young single women in my late 20s who works in person and drives to work every day I cannot express the stress and terrified experience I had that day with a smoking car! On the way to getting the car towed I called Nissan Redwood City again to see if they could make things right given what just happened so I spoke this time with their manager. I told the manager that I was calling from inside the towing truck and that the "fixed" car had not only gone up in smoke but also left me stranded in the middle of the freeway where thank god! nobody crashed into me. He not only defended and backed up his technician but said my diagnostic was only to figure out why the car was not turning on and they did not look to see other problems so if there were other problems with the car my $350 cost did not cover that so I needed to pay again. Now let me ask you this...if the car is not working or turning on wouldn't you look at the car overall to find the issue and see what is wrong with the car so you can confirm it resolves the problem??? Or does the repair service have a crystal ball/psychic that knows automatically what they car problem is without looking throughly at the vehicle??? BS! I have a card reader that cost me less than $350 that has given me better diagnostics!
I write all of this to say that my car is still not fixed and its an internal problem that I am having another more trusted mechanic take look at 1/3 the cost that Nissan Repair Service paid for the so called "fix". They made sure the car turned on and left their service and gave me what feels like an FU to figure out whats actually is wrong with the car. If you are reading this, please DO NOT GO TO THIS REPAIR SHOP. I will be posting this review on other review websites as they need to be accountable for the stress both emotional and financially they have caused me.
UPDATE 10/2 Response :
I have spoken to the owner of the shop and he has addressed my grievances. I appreciate

I am writing this review because I do not want ANYONE to go through what I went through with this maintenance/repair team. Preface: I never write reviews good or bad but this repair service has screwed and ripped me off so bad that I cannot let this be especially as female customer whose life was put in danger due to their NEGLIGENCE AND MISCOMMUNICATION. I towed the car to their service room and they quoted me this large amount $2k which I then lower by providing them new parts required for the work this saved me ~$1k of their quote. Nissan Service stated the issue was ignition coils and spark plugs that needed to be replaced based on the diagnostic test. I agreed to their cost and they proceeded with the work. As soon as I receive the "fixed" car and drive it I hear this new, weird ,and persistent noise that is coming from the front of the car. Do not bring your EV here for service. Scheduled appt online and brought it in, only to be told they don't have their EV service certification and won't be able to take in EVs till early October. I wish they put a message on their website so I didn't waste time taking off work etc. only to be turned back.
