A huge thank you to both Yessi and Anthony who helped my wife this afternoon with her questions regarding different products. I really hope that the leadership team at the Redwood City Target acknowledge that these two team members went above and beyond to be helpful and more importantly bring to light the way the whole team should strive to be. Far to often reviews are given when people are unhappy. I hope this review inspires others to focus on the good work that people do. @Yessi and @Anthony, thank you so much and keep being genuine and authentic!!!

I always find what I need here. The staff is super helpful. I think it's understaffed, but they try their best. Today I went to get some stuff and only took a basket. When I got to electronics, I realize that the items I wanted to get were bigger than I thought. The staff member in electronics helped me get a cart. I've had other staff members help me find what I need and offer advice. For example, the cashier saw that I was purchasing toys and recommended I use a coupon on the Target app saving me $25. He was so nice and very friendly. I generally have a really great experience here.

This target doesn't always have everything I need but the customer service is really great. A manager helped me when a manufacturer coupon I had wasn't working and Vanessa rang me up quickly . Thanks for the help!

Male Target Associate, monitoring Self Check out was very rude! Attempted to use scan gun for cases of water. Asked Associate for assistance and to tell him of equipment not working. His response, this is self check out and if we wanted assistance, regular register was to be used. This Associate will not and should not receive any positive review. Your in customer service job. If you can't handle it, go home and play your video games.

My all time favorite Target! I moved to San Francisco & my husband still drives all the way to the Redwood City Target. He refuses to go to any other Target. We lived in Redwood City for 15+ years (until 2021) & always loved this store & felt safe here. Some of the San Francisco Target locations have homeless people in them & peoples cars get broken into in the parking lot. The San Bruno one is just gross - worst Target in the Bay Area. But the Redwood City Target is normally pretty clean, no one is sleeping on the floor of the bathroom, & I don't worry about getting my purse stolen walking to my car - & that is why we drive 30mins to continue shopping at the Redwood City Target store. Good job Target Redwood City staff!!

The store itself is big and has a lot of options for whatever you're looking for. However, the employees are pretty rude and look immediately annoyed if you have a question, like you're interrupting them when they're standing at the counter of an open register doing nothing. If you of have a question, don't even think about asking any employees near the fitting rooms because they'll look you in the face and ignore you.

I give this place four stars because of the awesome diverse staff. They speak Spanish and for the most part a majority of employees don't discriminate... EXCEPT ROLAND in aisle 8 he's an older WHITE MAN WHO IS ALSO A USMC VETERAN SEMPER FI F THR OTHER GUY, he claims to have been a mortar man but I think he was probably a jag officer or military police because he is a racist prejudice pos blue falcon. I refuse to shop here until this man is fired. Go detective Augustine

NOT Customer-friendly I used to like coming here, no more. In the past 1-2 years the customer service has been pitiful, the employees don't care or try. Inventory system - don't rely on the online inventory system on their website, it is INACCURATE and unreliable. You go to the store and expect to find the product but there's none. Even when you ask a worker to use their handheld scanner it's a joke, they admittedly tell you it's inaccurate. Wtf it's the 21st century! Location - sketch neighborhood and the parking lot has homeless people living in the lot and on the street right by the store. Security guard by the door but doubt he deters any thieves. They boarded up the store when they were worried about rioters. Self-service: pray you don't need help cause the workers who are stationed there just want you to get outta there. Don't expect to hear any politeness or a "thank you", it's not in their vocabulary. Customer service counter - more of the same. I returned an item 2 months ago and the lazy girl worker gave me a gift card instead of credit to my credit card. Well, yesterday I tried to use the gift card and it has ZERO DOLLARS on it. Scammed me, may karma bite them. It's a wonder that Target is profitable.

No mask wearing by many. When asked the people to put on masks was yelled at and told to mind own business. Approached management who told me that they do not enforce mask wearing. Shop at own risk.

Hello this is going to be a very long review but it is worth it. before I used to shop at Safeway but since I found the great benefits that target gives Us and the amazing service I always get at this location I switched. As well are used to go to CVS in Broadway but the lines went for too long and I found it target Has its on CVS so I switch that as well and I love the service I received it. I want to thank specially to the cashier that has giving me amazing service all the time to me and my family it's going to be Ronald and as well Cheryl. They both have gone beyond to help my family. today visit this location and I was looking for a specific surprise toy for my son I was assisted by Lennon and he actually found the toy that I was looking and he make sure my son did not see it so he kept it a surprise so thank you so much for giving me that beyond service.

I use the cvs pharmacy inside this target and the staff there are incredibly helpful. The Target itself is well stocked, though perhaps slightly understaffed because sometimes things can be rumpled, but overall still a great target. They frequently have things that the other two local targets don't have in stock.

I bought what I thought was a brand new toaster at target two weeks ago after I moved and I opened the box and found old mildewed toast in the toaster and the toaster was filthy. How disgusting that target can re-package something that is filthy and has toast in the toaster. I truly hope management sees this yelp, which they probably won't. If this is any reflection of the people that work there and of your sales practices shame on you! Beyond disgusting Redwood city target.

I've been desperately trying to hunt down an Xbox Series X, although I wasn't able to find one, Zach was extremely helpful! He called other stores to check stock and even went as far as checking incoming inventory for the Redwood City location. Zach's customer service was nothing short of stellar and made me feel important as a consumer.

I am a long-time Target customer, and I am writing to share my recent extremely unsatisfactory experience at the Redwood City, CA location. At the Returns counter, I returned two pairs of shoes and was given the option of receiving a refund or a gift card. I chose the gift card, since I needed to get a different size of shoes for my son and planned to do so during the same visit. At checkout, I gave the cashier my gift card, and she also asked me to show her my app. She rang up the entire amount on the barcode associated with my Target card and said that I could not use my gift card, since she had already rung up the whole amount. She told me to go back to the Returns counter, and they could process all of the items as individual returns and ring everything up again using the gift card. When I went to Returns, the employee said that he couldn't process all of the items as individual returns and ring everything up again using the gift card because of Target's "one-day return policy." He told me to "come back tomorrow." I looked online later, and I could not find any policy to this effect. I rarely shop in Target stores and choose instead to shop online, so it is not feasible for me to simply "come back tomorrow." I am a mom juggling a full-time job and family. This is not an acceptable request to make of customers. It is also unacceptable to send customers away on account of a nonexistent (to my knowledge) "policy." I truly hope that this can be addressed with employees at that location. I understand there are stressors related to the pandemic that employees face, but so, too, do customers stopping in after a long day of working trying to have a smooth and quick shopping experience.
