They charged me $7 for a piece of tape so they could put the shipping label on the box. Go to Fedex down the street, way better service.

Truly is one of the worst stores I've ever gone to in terms of customer service. I went to return two Amazon orders. The guy at the counter scanned two bar codes only and gave me a single receipt. I literally went till my car and realized I have only been issued a refund on one of the items and went back in within 5 mins to inform him that I don't think the second one was processed. He told me he has already packed it and sent the shipment out (mind you, this was in the time i left the store and went to my car and checked my email and walked back in) and dismissively told me to contact Amazon as he can't do anything to help me. Now im stuck chasing Amazon because this guy did not want to do his job.

My sister had two electronics to return, the "gentleman" behind the counter, Manny, had a horrible attitude and dropped one of the electronics on the ground. I asked him if he was in a bad mood and he said no but continued to show a nasty bad mood. He wasn't wearing a name tag so I asked him to write his name of the receipt in case the electronic was damaged; he took the paper and wrote his name and sarcastically with a nasty tone "said have a nice day". Unpleasant and uncalled for experience.

It’s a 30 minute roundtrip for me to go there. But the employee closed the store right in front of us, 10 minutes early, and left. Now I have to make the trip again.

The customer representative that addressed me in the most discurtious and disrespectful manner that had other customers shaking there heads. Some left the store as did I.The UPS Store on 2nd Ave in San Mateo is the polar opppsite this store in Redwood City.

Tip if you're shipping a package is to go to U-Haul and purchase a box. The UPS store sold me a box that was double the length and width of the item I wanted to ship, so it was very difficult to package the item. My husband went to U-Haul and got the perfect size box. Unfortunately UPS stored would not refund the $18.00 for the enormous box they sold me because I had used one strip of tape to assemble the bottom of the box. I get it, but still didn't feel right since I expected them to sell me an appropriate box for my item. Another $20.00 and finally the fire truck is off to my nephew! 1 star because I think the customer service could have been better and they should have recommended the right product.

Quick and efficient service. Great location with easy parking. I usually just drop shipments here, but I’ve used a few other services in the past. They are more of a “do it right” than a “do it for the lowest price” shop for that sort of stuff.

Wow what a rude absolutely nasty employee. Your employee on Oct 28 at 3 pm, took my package after declaring that it is valuable and needs to be handled with care and dropped and tossed it so hard because he was either too lazy to bring it back for me to take a picture or got mad because I wanted a picture. he should be fired for his behavior. it's your job to take care of the package not destroy it before it's even shipped. I don't know what is up with this ups store, I've had very bad experiences here, just need to drive a little further to a different store next time

Manny he helped me there was many people in the store everyone was serviced within atleast 1 min he was pleasant and had great ethic and attitude really love the way he paid attention to his customers needs especially for a busy time after work. Thanks Manny you made my day

This is apparently not a UPS store?? It's a franchise and apparently that means they can't do basic stuff like print a shipping label for free, they want to charge you a $6 'service fee' to print. Sometimes they also charge you to use their tape dispenser!! As if the shipping fees aren't enough to cover a bit of tape and print the damn label. I've been using UPS for years but I'll find another location because I value my time

Re posting this review without my full name for privacy purposes: I usually have a really great experience here. I go here a lot and spend quite a bit of $ at this location. Today (now two weeks ago) I went in to return a package and had a label in my email that I needed to have printed for shipping the box. I was told I had to pay $5.00 to print one piece of paper and an additional $2.95 for them to apply it to the box and mail it. Soooo, I won't be going to this location ever again. And if other UPS stores do this, I will stop using them altogether. I wouldn't mind paying a few cents to print the label but not over $7. Good job guys! Way to lose business. They claim this is because they use high-quality materials. I can buy 500 sheets of paper on amazon for $7.00. They are simply exploiting customers and there are other similar reviews. There's so many other places one can go.
