On Thursday in the morning I deposited a check for $5,000. The lady told me it would be ready to withdraw on Friday morning I get up in the morning I check my online it says I'm overdrawn instead of it depositing they put a hold on my check telling me it was fraud I pleaded with them and pleaded with them to please release my money because I need to pay my rent and I need to pay my school cheese and I need the money for my car payment and they refuse to release the fraud charges on my account well for one thing my check is not a fraud it's from the state of California. They also do this to my workers come checks which are little tiny checks as well this bank is very very unfair you plead with them you let them know what's going on and they don't care. Now I'm afraid I will be either out of my home or I will have to pay a lot of extra fees. It's not the people inside it's the people in the fraud department that are really mean although I went from one bank to another to see who would cash his check of the US Bank I went to the one on Woodside road they were nice she gave me a hundred and 99 until my check deposited which should have deposited in the morning but her fraud department did it again they identify my check as fraud well for one thing it's not my check it's the state of California check plus again they do this with my workers comp check which are tiny little checks so it's make does not care at all about its people they just want to keep taking and taking. The One Bank in mountain view the lady is a really mean lady she disrespected me and I don't roll that way.

The reason I use this branch is convenience of course, but more then that, the people. Pauli (not sure about spelling) has been the manager for many years. She knows her customers by name and always helps no matter what the issue may be. Likewise, with the other employees that work there. They are all customer service oriented and never rush anyone. They are especially kind to their older clients and treat all customers with kindness and respect. What more can anyone ask for? It's how banking used to be and I'm happy there is a bank to go to that still appears to value relationships and customer service. I hope these values somehow survive. Thank you all!

Do not bank here. Unnecessary holds on local checks from Chase bank. The person who wrote me the check showed me that it went through and was deducted from his account on the same day that I deposited. US bank says I cannot receive funds for 7 days, even though I have proof that it was deducted from the local Chase account immediately. Person on the phone says branch manager can help. I call one location and they say a branch manager will call me right back. Manager never calls. Another person on the online system is going to check on it and get back to me and never calls me back. Come here directly and get no help despite being a customer for years with direct deposit. Multiple people from customer service unable to help. Terrible customer service and excessive holds on local checks. I would definitely consider banking with Chase bank or any local credit union instead! Respect yourself, your time, and your money, and bank somewhere else!

Nice friendly folks, easy parking, and frozen yogurt across the street! The interest rate on their checking & savings accounts may not be the highest, but if you're interested in aligning your money and your morals, US Bank is CONSISTENTLY rated the most ethical bank.

This branch is super unfriendly - my wife and I walked in and immediately a woman pops her head from her computer and shouts across the lobby "We're CLOSED guys!" Then she continues to chirp sharp comments to us saying that they're closed. Definitely will not be returning to this branch. The kicker? We still had 10 minutes left.

This branch is not the greatest. The bank itself does not provide great services. I' have applied more then 3 times for balance transfers. All three times I was denied. Mind you I have very good credit. I applied to another bank for balance transfers on the first try I was accepted and approved. Also the staff is pretty rude. They talk back to you with attitude when you start asking questions on why the account is negative? why is it taking so long for money to be released? Why are you holding my check for so long? Why aren't transactions being posted right away? Why doesn't my balance the same as on my app? Its ridiculous really. I hope they get themselves together. I'm surprised US bank is still even around. I only used them as an account strictly for Bills. I would not trust them for bigger financial assets, as in mortgage or car loans let alone a business account.

Not the greatest experience here or at any of the other branches with the exception of Halfmoon Bay. They are never very friendly; but, here's what really set me off. I went in and closed an account and withdrew money to put back into my old bank. The teller took my driver's license, and forgot to give it back. I left the bank and drove to my other bank across town and realized that the teller did not give me back my driver's license. So we tried to call them back and no one answered the phone. There's a standard message that due to covid or some other reason, they are unable to answer their phone. So....I had to drive all the way back to the bank and get my license. The lady who gave me my license said oh yeah, we were going to call you. Have a nice day. Really? That stinks! I am so disgusted. And, I'm so done!

I opened an account here to see if I could get a ppp loan. They never explained that they'll charge $5 a month for paper statements ... and when I went to the bank they expected me to keep waiting till their manager was free to see if this can be resolved. Customers deserve more respect and information.

$3.00 atm fee for nonmember. Easy to get to with an actual parking lot. I used the atm so this review is for the ATM fee only. Didn't speak with any staff.

What a surprise when the assistant bank manager repeatedly denies having a paper application so you will allow her to immediately open an account for you online. Banks are run on duplicates and triplicates so this statement was unbelievable on many levels. Traveled to the San Carlos branch, and they had the take-home application ready to go - all I had to do was ask once. Now I know where to find a banker who cares.

I got there and had cash and wanted to open an account and they had no banker available for the day! So went to Menlo Park they had one banker and age was on lunch until 3. San Carlos location the only banker was in a meeting for the afternoon. They all only have one banker at each location! This is kind of ridiculous. NOT A GOOD 1ST IMPRESSION!!
