“Definitely worth the 30min drive and bridge crossing to get our community cats fixed through the TNR program. 3 of us had individually gone to another local cat clinic in Fremont to use vouchers. But staff was incredibly rude, understandably made mistakes, but was just mean for no reason. There were also a lot of unnecessary rules/requirements that probably deterred people from following through w/surgeries. We are all trying to help and rescue is stressful (I focus on dogs personally). But ease and kindness is what keeps people voluntarily helping these animals. Thank you for offering this AND thank you for just being kind and straightforward!”

“My dog was seen in Santa Cruz for an emergent issue and needed to be evaluated for a complicated surgery that no one in Santa Cruz does. He was referred to UC Davis. We could not get in there for at least 2 months. My dog really needed to be seen urgently. Sage in Redwood City got him in on monday (when I called friday). He is now being worked up and is getting exceptional care. We are so thankful someone referred us to SAGE in RW City.”

“New patient, switched from Sunnyvale vet. Major win for my reactive/nervous dog. Dr. Hedges and Victoria were incredible. They went slowly, followed my dog’s lead and were able to give her 2 vaccines. This is groundbreaking as in the past she’s had to be fully sedated to get vet work done. Her major issue is with restraint. Dr. Hedges and Victoria worked with me to give her the vaccines with zero restraint and made it a very positive experience. I highly recommend these caregivers to anyone! Village Square is also NOT owned by private equity, like many vets these days sadly, so their prices are very fair and they do not try to push unnecessary things on you for more profit.”

“The people here were really nice and when my lightweight gsd with the leg nerve problems couldn't walk out two hours after waking up, three of them got together and sling-carried him out, letting him kinda feel like he was walking. Kinda heartbreaking but very sweet of them.”

“I want to give a shout out and a great recommendation to Whipple Ave Pet Hospital in Redwood City. Our cat Cleo was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease a year ago. We have been going to Whipple Ave Pet Hospital for about five years now. They were so wonderful with Cleo. Very understanding and flexible. Vets are not cheap. From my experience they are more affordable than most. We laid our sweet Cleo to rest yesterday, she was so tired and done fighting. Cleo was 17 years old, she had a great life. When we walked in for our appointment, I was in tears and greeted with a big hug from Tiffany who works the front desk.
Everyone was so wonderful and caring like they have been all along. Tara is the tech manager, which is who I talk to the most. Love Tara! If you want an honest and caring Vet-Whipple Ave is the best!”
