“These guys saved the day! My husband ran here in a hurry after another tire company would not honor his appointment time to mount and balance new rims and tires. And time was of the essence as he had our infant son with him. This is also his work truck so downtime had to be minimal.
Victor immediately sprung to action and had a few guys on his crew work on the truck. While they were doing this, they uncovered an issue with the truck that my husband was not aware of. Fast forward, it was a manufacturer defect that GMC took care of. We are very grateful for the time they took to troubleshoot!!
They were nice enough to even give my son a teddy bear. These guys went above and beyond and will absolutely be using them for all our tire needs in the future!”
“This place truly earned my 5 stars and respect. I’m a car lover — not a full-blown enthusiast, but definitely someone who cares deeply about how my vehicles are handled. I’ve had some disappointing experiences at other service locations around the Peninsula when bringing in my performance SUV and sedan.
Those shops looked professional on the outside (4+ stars rating in Google Maps), with clear windows into the service bay (which I thought meant transparency), but I personally witnessed technicians sitting in my driver’s seat to take photos, tossing center caps around like toys, and even manually slamming my power trunk instead of using the button. Thankfully, no damage was done, but it was still frustrating. Managers apologized, but nothing ever changed.
Today, I gave the Redwood City location a try — one last hope. I came in for a tire replacement after finding a nail in the sidewall. Denon at the front desk greeted me right away, went over the details, and took the time to note my request to use the trunk button instead of pulling it manually. When David, received the car in the service bay, I could actually see Denon reminding him of this detail — and David followed through exactly as asked.
Small things like that really stand out to people who care about their cars. The install cost me $28 for a customer-supplied tire — not the cheapest around, but absolutely worth it for the professionalism, respect, and smooth experience.
