“I was initially a bit nervous since Swan Lake is a newer venue, but that hesitation didn't last long. The venue itself is really beautiful and offers a great setting for an event. What stood out most, though, was working with Elizabeth. Her response times were consistently solid, and communication was clear throughout the process. As a professional planner, I would recommend this venue to clients looking for an all-inclusive experience that doesn't feel cookie-cutter. The space allows for flexibility and personalization, and with Elizabeth's support, the process felt intentional, collaborative, and well-managed rather than overly templated. I had a long list of questions and concerns, and each one was handled with patience and professionalism. Elizabeth made sure expectations were met. Overall, the experience felt supported, and that level of reliability made a noticeable difference. I feel great knowing that when I refer clients to this venue they will be heard, valued and in good hands. I can't wait until our next event!!”

You can tell it’s a high-quality wine made with care. It paired wonderfully with dinner and made the whole experience even better. “Our room was large and spotlessly clean, we were very impressed. The bed was perfectly comfortable too. We enjoyed the location for visiting King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The complimentary breakfast was adequate to get the day started. The only drawback was the train blasting its horn on the way by at 1-2am however this is not the fault of the hotel. It woke us up each night but we were still able to get a good night’s sleep. I’d definitely return if in the area.”
“We have visited many historical parks throughout the Central Valley and this is by far my 2nd most favorite one.
The employees/Volunteers were so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. I wish I could remember the 2 ladies names, this visit happened on 3/14/26. We had the little dog in a backpack and you welcomed us and our little doggie. Thank you both for being so great ?. We appreciated the knowledge your shared and being left to explore on our own as well. It was a good mix of both.

This is a must visit place and we will being visiting again. It is free but you can make a donation to help with the upkeep & to keep this place open! You can bring a picnic lunch because they have picnic tables with plenty of shade.
