Bad customer service the guy who rented me the car told me I had to put down a 200$ deposit when I got there and the lady over the phone told me it was 50$ and I could select a vehicle. That was a lie and I had to pull the car from the back parking lot myself which was very inconvenient because of the space allowed. Then after returning the car they tried to charge me 395$ without my consent for no reason. Never will I come back here again

I have been a pretty consistent Hertz customer for years, whenever I need to rent a car. I have always had great customer service until I tried to rent from this location.
I showed up to pick up my reserved car and was told by the lady behind the counter that they didn’t have the car they had confirmed and only had a bigger car. I said that’s fine, as long as you don’t intend to charge me more. She said she intended to charge me over $100, which was twice as much as the car I reserved. It was a bait and switch and she was rude and unhelpful just trying to steal money from me.
So I went to Enterprise up the road where I got great customer service, a much better car for even less than my original Hertz reservation, and they upgraded me for free. I was in and out of Enterprise with my car in less than ten minutes and they were really friendly.
I guess I’m now an Enterprise customer.

Both team members at the front desk were friendly and made my car rental experience smooth and easy. Highly recommend Hertz in Reseda.

The saleswoman at the branch is very unpleasant and does not try to help. I asked her a few questions and she did not have an answer for me. After she asked people on the phone, she gave me a made-up and illogical answer. I left the place immediately, not recommending at all

I reserved a car on hertz canoga , they called me 20 minutes before I picked the car tell me that they didn't have cars available. I then made a reservation on the Reseda location, called before pick up, same thing, mo cars. Wast of money on Uber.

Hertz need to train their staff better on customer service especially the lady who answered the phone. I was on hold for 44 mins without any update then decided to hang up on me.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hertz location on 6728 Reseda Blvd. I booked a mid-size SUV in advance, but when I arrived, I was told that no cars were available. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me at this location. I don’t know the reason behind it, but it’s extremely frustrating, especially since I specifically needed a mid-size SUV to travel with my check-in bags. Instead of offering a proper solution, the representative asked me to downgrade to a compact car, which was not suitable for my needs.
Both times, I had to go to Enterprise instead, where I was able to get a car though at a slightly higher price, their service was excellent. I won’t be booking with this Hertz location again, as their reliability is highly questionable.

*Check the tire guage before leave Hertz.Z* I was coerce to pay for a tire. Pickup the rental car after 2pm and left an hour later. Drove to my destination about 3 miles and went inside the home. That evening decided to go pick up groceries, noticed low tire guage on, did not think much since i assume the tire stem was faulty or youngster deflated it. Following morning I needed to drive to oncologist appointment and needed to inflate the tire to return it to normal readings. Following day tire once again was low. Concerned i called Hertz and was firmly told to go to PepBoys to get is repaired. At PepBoys i was informed i needed to get to new tire. I return the call to Hertz and informed them of the situation and asked for the pictures taken since the tire was damage before I picked it up. It was stated there was no pictures of the tire guage. I was given the options to either pay there at a lower price or return the rental and pay Hertz higher price. I felt conned and forced in paying for a tire i did not damage. Highly recommend to use caution when renting from this place or any Hertz since it was mentioned this is their policies.

This is the most disgusting car rental company. Very poor customer service. Luis is sooooooo rude. I made a reservation for a car rental and I reserved for a medium size car like a Mazda. I was only informed that they only have a Dodge Charger which is quite too big for me and hard to drive after authorizing my credit card for the whole amount of the rent and the deposit. Luis said he will try to search for other car in other branches. I was there for 45 minutes and nothing happened. Luis said he will just cancel the transaction. I didn't even get a confirmation that it was cancelled. He just showed in the computer that it is voided and he told me that the money will be released after 24 hours. Until now, they have not returned my money yet. It is $319. I called my credit card company but they told me Hertz has not cleared the transaction yet. I called back Hertz and the girl who answered referred me to a 1800 number. When I called that number, I was informed that they cannot help me because they cannot find the rental number (because it was voided) so I have no other choice but to contact Hertz Reseda - and Luis. I kept on calling but they are not answering. When Luis finally answered he is asking for my phone number because he said has a customer. I know it is only an alibi. So I shouted at him but he hang up on me. Now I have been calling them for 15 times already and nobody wants to answer. I will report you to BBB and the Fair Trade Consumer Department.
I already made a complaint with the BBB and Federal Trade Commission. The temerity of the owner to provide a link that he said might be helpful to me but when you paste and open the link, the contact us shows nothing about a refund they are holding for almost a week now for cancelled or void transaction

Luis is great! Very fast service and short wait at pick up, car as booked. Then I extended another week, and he matched the previous price for me. Very sweet, friendly, and nice. Thank you!
