Very clean inside very modern the outside of the building is somewhat dated but the pool is excellent size the water Fitness class was challenging but energizing the strength training room and cycle / treadmill room are also very clean and organized

The equipment is nice. The classes are fun, and the instructors are helpful and knowledgeable. This location has machines, bikes, weights, a pool, and locker rooms with showers. The bathrooms/locker rooms smell terrible due to lack of airflow in there. Other than that, the rest of the facility is nice.

Swimming lesson for child
- payment for one month is $130 for 4 times, they cancel one lesson due to the facility issue and need to repair and refund $26 instead of $32. Where is $6 go? I paid full amount but get less refund. That’s not fair.
- lesson program availability is not accurate: they let membership has priority to sign up first with lower price; on the other hands, non membership can sign up the class later with higher price, unfortunately, the class were all full.
Not recommend if you need the class same schedule.

I grew up going to Beverly hills YMCA. I also spent my last ten years frequenting the Santa Monica YMCA. This west valley location needs to clean it's bathrooms and various "busy" areas a lot better. I'm disappointed by the lack of hygiene. Seriously. I'll revisit and hopefully upgrade my rating hopeful of a more hygienic experience.

I like the environment.The staff in front. Desk needs to work on customer service skills they need to remove the dust from the mach9n3s on the weigth room, and also, sanitizer' s pump need to be refilled.

I would stay away from this YMCA. The staff are very junior and lack basic professionalism. And be careful when you sign up for while this may be a nonprofit, they will try to hook you with a cheap starter membership that you cannot cancel neither online nor at the facility and have to send an email and hope to hear back and they charge you a month for cancellation. We signed up and 3 days later we discontinued our membership. A terrible experience it has been.

Often frequented this Y as a child with my family and friends, now as a adult I wish I called the police on them but I didn’t but I wouldn’t know how to explain to them that a brown Indian women was screaming at me, I didn’t want to waste the police time but the workers overall had no customer service skills, no professionalism. YMCA is a good place for exercise and they're they're very helpful but now it is hard for those that they are not having access to Internet or computer all the their applications is through the internet the front desk doesn't do anything on writing and also they used to have the free home test of covid-19 in the front desk that in the past couple months they run out of it still they don't have it I would like to request them that if they have it in this season it will be helpful for community
