We bought a used FR3, and I can tell you they are poorly made.
The quality is not there.
We have owned motorhomes the past 35 years, and the FR3 is junk!
I contacted Forest River after our dinette table material crack to pieces ( made with cheep brittle material) and the representative said it was due to the heat while being stored???
I agree motorhomes are stored often in high temps, but use a heat friendly material to cover the kitchen counter, dinette cover, and small drink holder table.
When speaking to the representative, she said our counter/table material color was discontinued… great
So now our $79,000 motorhome looks like crap!
There are also so many other cosmetic disappointments, caused by cheap materials!
Believe me when I say “less than mediocre”

We bought a 2023 flagstaff last march and this thing has been nothing but problems. We've talked to forrest river several times and have gotten nowhere. They don't stand behind their product. We're now dealing with a lemon law attorney and are seeing. We have no choice. We have an rv We can't use but are paying for. It was new when we bought it and is just falling apart and no working fridge since we first used. I'll never buy anything made by them again.

The Quality Control process is non-existent. Loose screws, Loose door hardware, incomplete paint under the trailer and already rusting, missing caulking on the exterior... the list goes on and on. The more I look, the more things I see wrong with the trailer.

They push them out faster than they should just to make money. They are junk! craftsmanship is very low, quality is very low. But I want you to understand the facts not just my opinion:In less than 2 year1) The tire stems to pull a 31 foot trailer were full rubber. Like the ones you find on a wheelbarrow. American tires stated that I am lucky non blew and replaced them with brass covered in rubber for free. How did I discover this. I got a flat, and when I check the tire the the stem was ripped. so I went to the spar that still had the sticker on it and it was flat. Stem was broke on it as well. ****Check YOUR tire stems on FOREST RIVER SALEM CRUISE LITE*****2) The roof of the trailer started pealing away from the siding 3) Slide stopped working4) Slide roof started to peel away from brackets just like the top5) The trims inside started to fall of the walls6) The TV connections outside with the ones inside were switched (Common issue with these by the way!)7) Fire place diedNow all they told me was I wasn't the first owner so there is no warranty! Yes, because I found out the first owner was smart and got out of this thing quickly. So quickly all the interior still had stickers and had never been used.

Just bought a 2021 392MB 5th wheel Forest River River Ranch. Nice unit but so far after delivery A.C doesn't blow cold, dual battery system failed and had to disconnect 2nd battery.Basement A.C unit type is not serviceable, company shows list of warranty dealers but none honor or perform work under contract. Of 7 listed for my location, one does work on them but if not bought from them your placed on back burner and still not covered under warranty since they no longer accept.I would say, if spending $100k +/- go with Holiday Rambler, Lazy Daze or top quality manufacture who stand behind THEIR product.GOOD LUCK TO ANY AND ALL WHO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THEM AND AIRECEL/COLEMAN MACH TYPE A.C BASEMENT UNITS.

Bought 2021 306g 5th wheel. Complete garbage, tons of issues from the fridge breaking on the first trip to paneling falling off, broken water pump, horrible craftsmanship, go with a reputable brand. These people have no Quality control and sell these with tons of issues. Save your money and avoid buying any forest river junk.

They cannot put their garbage on the other side on the roads where no one lives, their worker seems to throw away with courage the garbage that they make noise... even if they think about it, it is a nuisance!!! If you lose, put it back, how unconscious you are..

Shut up, stop throwing things to the ground so horrible that it is heard from the trailers next door how they bother... put your garbage on the other side where no one sees it, be aware... as they don't close the place just in case the bad recommendations that they have and so worse .. how do they make noise shut up

Whomever is in charge of checking trailer out before leaving manufacture plant needs to take job more seriously. I special ordered my 2015 stealth door fell off on first opening. Tires flew off right side. Slide out wiring melted on furnance. Motorcycle went through floor. They fixed floor and tires thank goodness but they blamed me. Now little things left and right. Have had 4 other trailers worse one yet.

Terrible workmanship. I haven't seen a trailer built by them that worth the money. Our Stealth, interior paneling falling off the wall from the 10 staples in about 3 inches and none for the next 2 feet. Drawers falling out, holes drilled into water tank from d ring mounts. Outer skirting buckling, awning installed Crooked, wouldn't open. Won't buy another one. Terrible example of American quality.

I purchased a forest river 2016 stealth 29-16 toy hauler over a year ago haven't had major problems, if you are an experienced travel trailer owner you should know that they all have their Ups and Downs... but nothing major with the Stealth. My wife and I are very happy with this unit also I took it in for service with Mike Rodriguez and he is one of the best service Guys I have ever dealt with he made sure I was taken care of from beginning to end very polite and professional he made our experience that much better! Thank you forest river for having top quality employees to help your consumers!!
