I really enjoyed my recent banking experience with Cathay bank. Customer service at this location was excellent. The branch manager was very helpful in answering all my questions and helped me open my accounts within minutes. The banking app was easy to set up and use. Unlike any other big-name commercial bank where you don't always know who is helping you, Cathay bank brings the personal touch to the whole experience, and no matter how big or small the transaction is, you are treated like a VIP customer. I highly recommend Cathay Bank to anyone that has banking needs, especially if you are looking for bi-lingual (Chinese/English) service!

This shopping centre on the east side of Richmond, on the border with El Cerrito, feels like a throwback to the '80s or '90s. It's smaller than what most folks would consider a proper "mall" here in the Bay Area while also being larger than, say, a strip mall, thanks to the fact that it has an interior corridor that you can loop around.Amidst the current coronacrisis, most shops were closed early in the morning, save for the 99 Ranch supermarket and the Sheng Kee bakery. There's also an Asian Pearl dim sum restaurant, which I'm not sure is affiliated with other area Asian Pearls in Fremont and Millbrae, but it wasn't open when I stopped by. I guess that, in normal times, these three anchors are enough to draw folks into the mall, but, sadly, these aren't normal times. There is enough outdoor space, however, so that some shuttered eateries could conceivably set up some tables outside (even if it would mean lots of shuttling back and forth for the service staff).

Clean, good parking, easy on and off the freeways and wonderful shops. 99 ranch market is a wonderful place to go and get whatever you need for your Asian delicacies the Kingston bookstore has trinkets gift pens and wonderful gifts for birthday parties or whatever. Good restaurants and specialty shops, I really love this mall. Go inside the 99 ranch market for hot food to eat, fresh seafood, and awesome produce.

Their security guard is out here with a knife in his hand that he uses to gesture while he talks to people. Not coming back.

This Asian shopping center is conveniently located off I-80. Parking is plenty. Crowded on weekend though. It is anchored by a 99 Ranch Market. There are many Asian restaurants at different price points and most serve authentic ethnic cuisines. One could also find a good bakerly, desserts stores, and some clothing stores. This is a mid scale shopping center for locals. So don't expect upscale restaurants or boutiques. It is a place for ethnic foods and groceries.

This review is mostly about Ranch 99, their anchor store. The rest of the mall is OK. It's small. I've gone into some of the stores. I bought a hello kitty umbrella for my niece when she was 7 because I knew that they had them. I used to try this Thai place that had prepared food to go, but they are gone too. I've gone to a couple of restaurants there and liked them OK. But that part of EC is not my spot, which is why I hung out when going to Ranch 99. There was a place across from the entrance where I used to get fried crispy, crunchy things. But I can't because I can't eat gluten. But still, my husband goes by and buys things there for himself, which is fine, but it's a mall. And most of the stores are filled, unlike Hilltop.

I go to this mall often but I am taking off 2 stars because someone needs to do something about the bathroom situation. It smells toxic. Every time I go in, I come back out with my nose burning and my lungs and throat filled with the aftertaste of pinesol. This can't be healthy for the workers that cleans the bathroom either. It's been like this every day since I've started coming here 4 years ago. They need to either mix more water with the pinesol or use another type of cleaning agent!

Don't get cake rolls at the Ranch 99. I love the selection at this store and these cake rolls used to be amazing. Now look at these pictures: there is NO cream in it. When we brought it home, it was dry and at the brink of stale. Stay away.

Perfect mall for my Asian food needs. Ranch 99, Sheng Kee, and a yummy boba place. We have not visited the restaurant or other businesses inside, but will be back to explore.

I love this shopping complex. You can get groceries, try many different types of Chinese and Asian restaurants, get tea and boba drinks, and finish shopping at the bakery. Before you leave, go upstairs and get a foot massage. It's totally legit!

This is a typical Asian mall, with 99 ranch, some restaurant, Chinese bakery, and other misc things there. It's a mall good for doing some grocery shopping, going out to eat, and picking up some hk pastries or cake. The parking can get crowded especially on weekends, it's best to come early to shop. But the restaurants don't open til 11am. So it's really a hit and miss situation. I used to come here a lot when I worked close by, I go when I need something from the Asian market or bakery. It has changed since I last went, it is right off the freeway which it is a plus.

Why can't all the restaurants have the same business hours since they are in the same building?! It's errie that at night some are open and some are closed. I may be spoiled by Las Vegas, but I'm pretty sure it's the same in other malls. If they can't have the same business hours then they need be somewhere else. The parking lot looks so 'rapey' at night when there's hardly any cars.
