The pharmacy needs to do a better job at directing people to sign up first, then wait in line. It's just a mess and a waste of patients time

Free parking garageI only went to Radiology and there was a flickering light in the waiting area. If somebody was prone to seizures.. and I think radiology would be a stop for a seizure issue.. it would also induce one, I think.

For the most part, I have found the personnel at Kaiser, Richmond,CA. to be professional and responsive. I had a rather unpleasant experience with one doctor. However, he was the exception to the rule. Everyone else I have interacted with was great.

Kaiser Richmond Pharmacy is the absolute worse. This place should be audited. The pharmacy had over 50 people in line and only two cashiers. Don't waste your time, go anywhere else.

One of the worst Kaiser ers I've ever been to. Went in at 3 in the morning in intense pain. Was taken into the back quickly but left in the hallway instead of given a room. People poked their heads in a few times and eventually the let my fiancé in. One thing to note is that security is very rude about letting people go in with you. The nurses are great about it though. When the doctor came in, she asked me a few questions, poked at a few places, didn't even have my chart up, and freaked out and hid being my fiancé because I was coughing. After telling me she wanted me to take a COVID test and was giving me some meds and would be right back, I never saw her again. A wonderful nurse came in and gave me the COVID test. Spoiler alert it was positive, but the nurse who came back 20 minutes later to discharge me didn't even look at it until I asked her to read it. Once she told me I was positive and I would need to quarantine, I had to ask for a work note. I was only given 1 day. Then the meds were sent to the regular pharmacy, so I could not get them until the next day. So to recap: treated poorly in the hallway, neglected by the doctor, and given no guidance about COVID quarantine. And I would like to note that per the intake receptionist, the er was not busy. I was the only person in the waiting room.

Both good and bad experiences here, good and bad staff, I guess it's just like life! Info desk staff seemed disinterested in answering questions. That's literally your job, buddy.Brought my 80 year old parents to this Kaiser to have an in-person Membership and health coverage appt. Apparently this all went online during Covid and there are no plans to bring it back. It's only via phone or website. For elderly people, especially if hard of hearing, this is not an option. Sign outside the closed offices says "Our mission...provide an exceptional patient experience...in the format and timeframe desired..." We would like in-person assistance please. Two days later, back in the ER to have my very dehydrated Dad get some fluids pumped into him and insulin for his out of control diabetes. He has good coverage apparently and got his own ER room. First nurse could not find a vein and put him in a lot of pain. (my Dad's been donating blood for decades and never has a problem usually) Second nurse was awesome and knew exactly what he was doing. So first nurse - take some phlebotomy classes and don't touch the patients' veins until you do. We were there for hours and I asked another nurse if my Dad could get some food. First nurse came back and got my Dad an egg salad sandwich and canned peaches. (they were out of the hot meals like meatloaf) Dad was very happy with that so I've forgiven the first nurse. She also found a rolling stand for the IV bags to be raised up higher, allowing gravity to administer the fluids more quickly. The IV holders attached to the beds cannot extend up.Outside the ER there is no place for patients to sit to wait for a ride. After check out my poor Dad had to lean against a wall while I ran to the parking lot to get the car, swing around and pick him up. I don't think the people who design these places have ever had an elderly parent with mobility issues. The decision makers are too disassociated with the frontline, day to day operations.

I've been going to Kaiser for over 20 years. Went to emergency a few weeks ago and was disgusted by what I saw. The whole place is filthy and they're doing the emergency room outside in tents.I got in fast and the doctors or nurses were fantastic but the facility again was disgusting. You could tell the sheet on the bed was old and has been you several times. It looks like I'll Covid protocols have gone out the window.

Let me start by saying Richmond pharmacy overall is a pretty good. Pharmacy. All the people that work there are great and very helpful, except one I believe her name is surdeep. This younger lady needs to learn social skills and work on her personality. Very Very rude person. I do hope she is a temp and not permanent employee. Ok my rant is over.

The injection clinic here is a joke. I had an appointment to get a shot and waited over an hour in a room full of patients who also had appointments. Too many administrative staff on computers and only one person giving the shots.

HORRIBLE care . Dirty floors , dirty rooms , incorrect treatments !! I could go on for days .. do not send even your p*** here for a doctors visit. If you care about your health PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ANY KAISER AT LEAST AROUND HERE ! My dad got away from this place and rapidly recovered. This place is not trained for the bare minimum of anything . Please keep your loved ones as far away from here as humanly possible. They are money hungry k*llers . They don't care about you or your family. Thanks for reading hope this helps !
