The Richmond Plunge is a public indoor swimming pool originally built in 1926. It offers shallow and deep lanes, as well as showers and locker rooms. Visitors can enjoy various programs, including water aerobics, small children's swim classes, water-walking, and lap swimming. The warm pool water is particularly beneficial for those with chronic or arthritis pain. The facility is known for its friendly staff and clean environment, though the system for assigning open lanes can be challenging at times. Despite some limitations in the schedule due to lifeguard shortages, the Richmond Plunge is considered a great resource for the local community, offering a nostalgic and enjoyable swimming experience for all ages.

I went swimming there for the first time last weekend. This charming pool from 1927 is large and well maintained; not overly chlorinated and the water temp is perfect. I need to shout out to the three employees there...each one more welcoming than the next. Well done! Keep it up.
