The place is nonprofit and offers assistance to low income individuals. You can come once per week either on Tuesday or Thursday between 12pm-2pm for food, which may include fruits, dairy, baked and canned goods. Items are varied from week to week depending on donations. Assistance are also given for utilities i.e. So Cal Gas and SCE up to $100 max per year per type. However, as of this writing, for the 2019 grant for So Cal Gas has already been maxed out and is no longer available next year. However, the good new is that the SCE grant is still available for those that are still struggling and are in need of help. Glenys Bell will only take calls for appts to assist you with the utility assistance Tues/Thurs 12pm - 2pm only. However, her appt times are on Tues/Thurs between 9am-2pm.Please pass this message to whoever you know that are in need of help!
