“A little late posting this. If you ever need rear end work, this is the only shop you should use. Had a new rear end installed and left for a cross country drive. There was an issue and the pumpkin dropped all grease and shredded an axle. They covered everything! We were in Salt Lake City, Utah. They immediately offered to cover the fix AND they offered and covered our hotel and food bill for the week we were down. Unbelievable customer service! I'm very thankful there is still stand up people who are honest and willing to do the right thing! Will never recommend any other shop, period! Thank you!”

“I recently had Yota1 Performance build a forged 9:1 compression supercharged engine for my 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner, and after getting the truck back, I can confidently say they did an incredible job.
This was not a basic around-town test drive after the build. After picking the truck up, my wife and I immediately took it on a roughly 6,000-mile West Coast road trip and shakedown. We drove through California, the Grand Canyon, the Redwoods, Utah, Moab, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, South Dakota, and plenty of places in between.
The truck saw long highway days, elevation changes, desert heat, dust storms, snow, mountain passes, national parks, off-road trails, stream crossings, and everything else you would expect from a real adventure. It ran perfectly the entire time.
That says a lot.
A freshly built engine is always nerve-racking, especially when it is a custom forged supercharged setup in an older vehicle. But Yota1 gave me a motor that felt strong, smooth, reliable, and ready to be used. The truck handled the entire trip without giving me a reason to regret the decision for even a second.
The engine feels healthy, confident, and exactly like what I was hoping for when I decided to invest this much into the vehicle. It still has the character of an old Toyota truck, but now it has the power and strength to make it feel like something truly special.
I also appreciate that this build was not just about making power. It feels like it was built with longevity, drivability, and real-world use in mind. That matters to me because this truck is not just a toy. It is something I plan to keep, preserve, travel with, and build into a long-term adventure vehicle.
After 6,000 miles of immediate real-world testing, I feel like the outcome speaks for itself. Yota1 Performance delivered.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to properly rebuild or upgrade a Toyota engine, especially if you care about doing it right instead of just doing it cheap.
