“Took my F-150 in for check engine light diagnostic. Caesar called me back within the hour and said there may be an issue with the catalytic converter. No data in my computer to specify problem. May be a code error. If it is the catalytic converter that needs replaced it would be costly. Like $2,000! Recommended he clear the check engine light and for me to monitor for any issues or further check engine light warnings before making any costly repairs. I appreciated Caesar’s advice and honesty. Caesar also did not charge me for the $136 diagnostic. Wow! That was huge. I will be a faithful customer. I have several vehicles I have to maintain and will be bringing all of them to BYC from here on out. Thanks Caesar. 👊🏽”
“I recently had Yota1 Performance build a forged 9:1 compression supercharged engine for my 3rd gen Toyota 4Runner, and after getting the truck back, I can confidently say they did an incredible job.
This was not a basic around-town test drive after the build. After picking the truck up, my wife and I immediately took it on a roughly 6,000-mile West Coast road trip and shakedown. We drove through California, the Grand Canyon, the Redwoods, Utah, Moab, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, South Dakota, and plenty of places in between.
The truck saw long highway days, elevation changes, desert heat, dust storms, snow, mountain passes, national parks, off-road trails, stream crossings, and everything else you would expect from a real adventure. It ran perfectly the entire time.
That says a lot.
A freshly built engine is always nerve-racking, especially when it is a custom forged supercharged setup in an older vehicle. But Yota1 gave me a motor that felt strong, smooth, reliable, and ready to be used. The truck handled the entire trip without giving me a reason to regret the decision for even a second.
The engine feels healthy, confident, and exactly like what I was hoping for when I decided to invest this much into the vehicle. It still has the character of an old Toyota truck, but now it has the power and strength to make it feel like something truly special.
I also appreciate that this build was not just about making power. It feels like it was built with longevity, drivability, and real-world use in mind. That matters to me because this truck is not just a toy. It is something I plan to keep, preserve, travel with, and build into a long-term adventure vehicle.
After 6,000 miles of immediate real-world testing, I feel like the outcome speaks for itself. Yota1 Performance delivered.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to properly rebuild or upgrade a Toyota engine, especially if you care about doing it right instead of just doing it cheap.

“Pitt Stop did an oil and transmission fluid change that went very well with me supplying the materials for a very reasonable price. Today they changed my front brake pads and rotors after they put my car on their lift and pulled the wheels to show me how much wear was left on the pads and rotors. No other shop offered this service before.
