Riverbank CA
“Great customer service, they went the extra mile to exchange a bolt that didn’t headspace in a rifle I was working on. They confirmed the new bolt they were sending me was going to have tighter headspace then the one I initially got. When I received the new bolt I check and it passed headspace. They they were pleasant to talk with through the process.”

“Great little place overall. Nice ambiance and good selection. Nice display, too. Everything is well organized for the space. Would have been an easy 6 out of 5 stars if - 1 - I didn't get an absolutely ridiculous $100 quote for the simplest of jobs - A quick stake job on my castle nut. 2 tiny little indents. C'mon guys. 2 minutes of tapping a small punch with a hammer should be $20 max and $20 would be generous. They're really missing out on fast and easy money with their $100 minimum for anything that requires even touching a customer's firearm. And - 2 - some staff are great. Helpful and seem to enjoy their job. Others? They act like they'd rather you weren't there. Like you're an inconvenience. Regardless of these valid criticisms, I would do business there again. I just wouldn't ask for smith service or engage in conversation unless the employee gave off good vibes.”

“This is the best gun shop in Modesto, and the surrounding areas. I live in riverbank and I refuse to go anywhere but here! Eddie is the most humble, knowledgeable person I've ever encountered in any gu. shop. He has the patience and understanding for any and all questions I have. I will never buy a firearm anywhere else without going to called2arms and seeing if they have it first. And even if they don't, I'll just wait until they do! 5 star!!!”

“Stopped by yesterday afternoon because I was having a problem with my 9mm Shield. The man behind the counter was very friendly and he was able to repair the issue in about 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to purchase a firearm or have a repair done.”

“I have been here quite a few times and everybody has always been really helpful and cool. I just called there the other day and talked to Kelly and she had what I wanted and she wrote my name on it and held it till the next day. Very happy with all of my purchases and I'm sure there'll be more to come.”

“I ended up at Sierra Gun Shop after a bad experience elsewhere, and I’m really glad I did. From the first phone call, Pete stood out—he was patient, answered all my questions clearly, and walked me through what to expect as a first-time buyer. When I came in, he took the time to explain the paperwork step by step, made sure I understood the safety basics, and helped me choose a firearm that actually fit my needs instead of just pushing a sale. The whole process felt straightforward and stress-free. Pete’s knowledge and willingness to educate really made the difference. Great service, great experience, and a shop that genuinely cares about its customers. I won’t go anywhere else. got my second gun on layaway thanks, Pete💯”
