“We had an excellent experience with Direct Appliance in Modesto. We originally went in looking for a refrigerator, but after talking with Kris Winter and Samuel “Sam” Garret, we decided to remodel our outdated 1960s galley kitchen as well.
Sam and the team helped us create a practical, affordable plan that fit our home and our lifestyle. They handled everything from relocating plumbing and installing new flooring to adding custom cabinets, countertops, and new appliances.
Even when unexpected issues came up during the remodel, Sam communicated clearly, provided reasonable solutions, and kept the project moving according to schedule. The organization, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and professionalism were outstanding.

I had already checked out the other stores in Modesto so I know I got a really good deal. I hope more people stumble across his business in their search for quality sleep. While his store is small he seems to have everything you could need for a really good night's sleep.”
“In the days of big box stores and online shopping, having a beautiful store of unique finds in Modesto is a gem! I don't want people coming to my house and recognizing the furniture I have from other stores. I ordered a sectional for my new home (I got to pick out the layout of the sectional, the fabric, and even the fabrics for the accent pillows) and ended up walking away with a new dining table too. I even had the option to have the furniture delivered for a nominal extra fee. The furniture is good quality, and the price is not much more than what you'd pay for furniture anywhere else. I'd highly recommend looking here before committing to furniture from anywhere else. I love just randomly perusing the store every season or so too; it's always changing and always decorated exceptionally well. The fact that they even have sales and a points / reward program is the icing on the cake. Truly thankful to have this store in the Modesto area.”

“Saint was our salesperson. He was a fantastic person for what we needed kind of the perfect annoyance perfect kind of annoyance without being too much. I don't know that you understand what it is I'm trying to say here but most women would understand. A definite asset for any community and I think that should be taken seriously. Also he's extremely easy on the eyes I have to admit and although I am quite older I would be sure that his looks will take him far and as far as modeling if I were you I would use some again thank you for the furniture that we will be getting we are thrilled I can't say more”
“I just purchased a piece I found on their website. I went in person to see the furniture, they didn’t have at the store, but they had the coffee table and it was beautiful. I bought on Sunday and they called me on Friday to tell me that it had arrived. I scheduled the delivery for Monday. He sent two young men and they were very educated. He knew everything about the sofas I was looking at and explained the brands and quality. The fabrics all so varied and his input really helped me to understand which would work well in my living room. I highly recommend him. Although my one complaint was the store floor was very dirty where I was looking at sofas.”
