I had a great experience with Riverbank Automotive & Smog. Ana at the front desk was very kind and explained everything clearly. When I had to bring my car back, Moises went above and beyond to help me and made sure my car was running much better. The whole team was professional, honest, and helpful—I highly recommend them!

I had a leak coming from my truck and a friend referred me to Riverbank Automotive & Smog. The service we received was amazing. I took my truck in at 930 am and 2 hours later I was called with the price and results of the diagnostics. By 330 that same day my truck was ready with a new ac condenser (fluid was leaking into the condenser). They did a great job explaining the problem, friendly employees, same day service and great price. I highly recommend this business!!!

Never bring your car here for anything. They just want to rip you off and aren’t helpful or friendly at all. Don’t waste your time! Would never recommend them to anyone due to the service I just received. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Stop in for a smog today
First observation walking in is that the staff is extremely welcoming!
I have been to a lot of shops that I have had a few disappointing experiences
They are trustworthy and efficient . If your single mom and you’re worried about being taken advantage of , riverbank Automotive &Smog will put your mind at ease.

Riverbank Auto (Moses and Anna) is absolutely the most honest mechanic I have ever dealt with, in my 53yrs of driving/owning a car. I have NEVER left there feeling like I was taken advantage of or over-billed. Every vehicle I have taken there over the years (and there have been many!) left all fixed or if there continued to be a problem, was immediately returned, fixed and no new bill. Plus, they're just super nice folks!! ?

I highly recommend Riverbank Smog and Auto for any service our vehicle needs. It can be quite intimidating dealing with car issues, but these guys are great all the way around. I had my brakes done here and I was given fair prices and the work was done faster than any other local shop I have taken my vehicle. Their shop does just about any type of work your vehicle may need. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

AMAZING customer service!!!! Riverbank Auto & Smog is the type of small family business that makes the backbone of this great country!
I was greeted immediately by their team upon arrival. I went to have my AC serviced as we enter the summer months. Upon testing my vehicle, I learned I would need much more work than a service. Anamaria was able to walk me through everything I needed step by step with thorough breakdowns for each piece.
The head mechanics Moises and Andrew were able to get all of the parts I needed within a half hour. Unlike most shops that want to seemingly keep your car as long as possible, Riverbank Auto & Smog had me out of there in no time.
My air conditioning has never blown colder, and the team could not have been more friendly. I will certainly be a lifelong returning customer to Riverbank Auto & Smog because they actually care about what it is they do!!!! FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Called to get price on smog but told me i need to have my tags renewal paper or they wouldn't do the smog? Literally this is off california smog website " The smog technician can simply enter the required information, your vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) and license plate number, right into the smog machine." so idk why they are trying to be difficult?

New to the area only been living in Riverbank 2 weeks seen this location on google. Lady at the front was an absolute headache. Came in to get my A/C looked at and couldn’t seem to get any hint they actually wanted my business. After being question and basically called a liar by the Receptionist who also had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever encountered in my days… I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. She couldn’t accept that, even following me all the way to my car after she yelled inside the office as I walked away. Was very weird.
Went up the street to 2 Bros auto and got helped out right away no problem.

Great family owned business. Excellent service, prompt attention to customer needs. They are very good at explaining exactly what to expect when you bring in your vehicle. They go over all your details with you regarding any issues you are having asking detailed questions about your experience regarding vehicle breakdowns or any driving problems you may have encountered. We called and asked about having a vehicle towed to them that would not start. The vehicle arrived early afternoon and after we provided our detailed narration of our experiences they discussed their plan to investigate issues which caused our vehicle not to start. We left expecting to hear from them within a few days but we're totally surprised to learned they had successfully troubleshot the problem, completed the necessary repairs and had the vehicle ready for picking up within three hours. Amazing service, friendly, prompt and very reasonable bill. I will be taking all of my vehicles to them as well as recommending them to all of my family and friends.
