Recently I was able to set up mail forwarding through the riverbank post office. It took a couple of weeks but mail was forwarded. As I understood the process I brought my mom to this same post office so she could set up the same thing. She followed the same process but never received any forwarded mail. She checked with mark at the riverbank usps, first he told her she couldn’t do it through riverbank because she lives in Modesto. Not true. When she told him that it was accepted, her license was scanned and she was assured it was taken care of and to allow 2 weeks for mail to be forwarded he responded he didn’t know what happened and she would just have to do it again and maybe she should do it online (which of course there is a small fee for). My mom is in her 80s. I was with her. The paperwork was completed correctly and verified by the usps employee. I don’t appreciate him making her feel like she didn’t know what she was doing or had done something wrong when this problem was clearly with the Riverbank usps. Mistakes happen but instead of apologies the customer received invalid excuses and blame. Please do better by your customers.

They left an expensive package on top of the mailbox instead of getting off and dropping off at the door. It could have easily been stolen if it weren't for my neighbor across the street who alerted me. Unbelievable.

Maritza is by farrr the best mail carrier in the nation. Not only is she extremely informative about all aspects of her job, she takes pride in giving great service. She also has good timing. She's ALWAYS moving quicky to get us our mail in a timely manner.I've had a conversation with her here and there and she's so kind. She never complains about the work load (which I'm sure they have a lot, especially during the holiday season) and I'm always greeted with a smile. Me and my neighbors are lucky to have such a nice mail carrier.

I always enjoy coming here, main reason being, the gentleman who works up front! (I should know his name by now, but my memory stinks... I blame mom brain!) He is always super helpful and pleasant; nice to talk to! I feel like he definitely goes above and beyond. Not only is he very personable, he is very efficient, as well. There is hardly ever a long wait here. Glad that we have him at the Riverbank office!

I love my local USPS. The staff inside the actual post office is always super kind to me and extremely helpful but this is ridiculous. My package was just shoved into my mailbox(which it CLEARLY didn’t fit in). Was there not ANY other alternative to this? Thankfully my item inside wasn’t damaged but I just found that to be flat out rude and unacceptable. This is also new. Typically carriers in the past have handled my packages with great care!! This has NEVER happened before. I don’t know what the hell this carrier was thinking today but for future reference and for the sake of all our neighbors’ packages as well, please do better.

Wow. This post office is terrible compared to Modesto. So unpleasant for no reason and when I told the clerk today no worries I'm patient she scowled at me and said "we'll I'm not!" and then would not give me a receipt. I don't understand why Modesto can scan in my packages and give me a receipt and yet this post office will not give you a receipt after scanning in your package they just tell you oh it's scanned. that does not help when I have to provide proof of me dropping it off to the post office to a buyer of a multiple hundred dollar order. I would not recommend using this post office to ship anything of value at all.

Being new to riverbank i was surprised of how nice and helpful were these people here. Guided me on how to save money on sending special envelopes and actually explained to me on how i can doit online.

I have been coming to this Post Office since I was a child and I can tell you that the same clerk has been here! He is so nice and professional, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Every time I go, I feel special and welcomed. I highly recommend this Post Office to anyone who needs to ship through the USPS system. Thank you for making me proud!
