Thank you to Mo and Sal for fixing up my car horn. They were communicative, friendly and I experienced a great neighborhood mechanic feel. Appreciate Sal for spending the time to explain costs to me and doing everything he can to make things right. Appreciate it!

I love all the mechanics at Ace Auto Clinic! The owner Sal always makes sure I understand what services I'm getting and what to expect in terms of my cars performance. I love having a local mechanic who cares about the community and keeping customers satisfied. I always recommend Ace Auto to women who are nervous about taking their cars to a new shop, you can trust that you will receive quality service and no shenanigans. I especially like Mo, when he works on my car it always comes back in GREAT shape. Even my mom loves the guys at Ace. 10/10, highly recommend! Never had an issue these guys couldn't help me with.

They supposedly fix the problem with my evap system but my check engine light came back on after I spent $560 and then they told me I needed a new valve cover gasket and spark plugs come to find out the spark plugs were dry and the gasket was fine can you say pad to Bill a little bit so all in all my only recommendation is for them to give me my money back for the evap problem that still persists.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Went in and told them I needed my evap system checked and fixed because my check engine light was on $560 later my check engine light has come back on they also told me I needed a valve cover gasket and Spark plugs they said it was leaking when I removed the valve cover gasket myself and change the spark plugs there was nothing wrong with the valve cover gasket and the spark plugs were dry so they were just trying to get extra money out of me the only recommendation I have for these guys is to give me my money back because I still have the evap problem that persist to this day. They are so friendly you don't realize how crooked they are

I was quoted really high at Mazda Dealership and I was searching on Yelp for a mom&pop shop and came across this shop. Like any other business there will always be people who aren't happy with their service, but Ace Auto Shop had a lot of good reviews and I decided to go with them. First, I decided to take my Mazda in to get it checked up & as expected there was a lot wrong with my car. They took me to the back and actually showed me everything that was going on and I really appreciated Carlos for taking the time to show me and educate me on what needed fixing/ replacing. Mo was the supervisor who helped me with the pricing, ordering and making sure I was in good hands. He seemed very honest and professional. He would call and give me updates and that was reassuring. When I picked up my car I was notified that Roshon was the one who fixed up my car. I think he did really good because after driving it for a week now, i feel like my car is running smoothly. Mo also gave me a call to follow up and I thought that was very professional of him. Thanks Ace Auto for your work! Will be coming more often!

I went in there with my 1999 Ford Ranger needing to replace my whole engine. First time I've ever had to do this with any of my vehicles so you can only imagine the things that go through your mind with the process, especially it being an older vehicle. Mo and the mechanics put that all at ease within 45 minutes being in their office. Not just price wise but also with what is going to be exactly done with my truck. From things they weren't replacing to things they were replacing. They even found me an engine for my truck within 1 week! I put my trust in Mo and the mechanics there when it came to exact things that would need to be changed around the inner engine and the things that would not need to be changed and they did exactly that. Show pictures, test result, etc threw the whole process. Im not a person that too much about engines but they did enlighten me around the things I needed to know. Im thankful for that and how my truck is running now. They did a great job!

I had gone to Ace in the past. I had asked for the serpentine belt to be replaced because it was making a horrible, loud noise and I had an oil leak. I have a friend who looked at the car before I brought it in and he told me that it was likely the computer that was causing most of the problems. At the time, Sal told me that the oil leak was causing the belt to make noise and that I didn't need the belt so he didn't change it. It still makes that noise. The other problem was that it was cutting out while I was driving it. So, the mechanic at the time fixed something and it had nothing to do with the thing I had asked for so I just didn't go back. The car still cut out on me so I parked it and saved money to get it fixed. It was fine because it was mostly during Covid and I wasn't going many places anyway. I just didn't feel like Sal wasn't listening to me so I didn't go back. In June, I brought my car back to give Sal a second chance because I felt that maybe I wasn't communicating well. We talked it out and I felt like he was listening to me this time. He took notes and we had a good informative talk. I told him that the car no longer cut out but it was still badly leaking oil and that I needed the heater hoses changed because the ones in there were not the correct hoses and there was antifreeze leaking. I also needed a new battery because mine wasn't taking a charge. Miata batteries are like golf cart batteries after all. Before I start, I want to say they did a SUPERB job on fixing the oil leak. I know it was a huge undertaking because it had gone on for so long. I have only praise for the work they did on that. I am 100% fine with the work that was done on that. I just couldn't get anyone else to do it without telling me to sell it to them and just end the problem...including the dealership. Yes and I got two free oil changes by the way and I really appreciate that! After the oil leak and all that that entailed was done, I drove it for a few days and the check engine light came back on. So, I brought it back. They kept it for a few days and then told me the it was the leak detection pump. They charged me $376 for the pump. Mo, the person I spoke to said it was an OEM part. My problem with that is that when I looked it up at the dealership, it was $176 for that part and the shipping wasn't that much so he more than doubled the price for the part. I work retail. That's alot of money. I don't disagree with the price of the work but they left my trunk shell pulled out and crazy. I can't quite close my trunk properly now and as it didn't look perfect, it looks much worse now. I drove it for a couple of weeks and thought it was finally fixed and I took it to the smog station. She failed smog and on the paperwork, it said it was because of the leak detection pump. When I brought it back, I talked to Mo and I was so grateful that they I was finally getting the help I needed to get my car up and running. I even asked Mo if I could hug him because as a woman, it is really hard to get honest auto repairs done without getting cheated. So they fixed the relay for free because I was just out of money at that point. I drove it to week for two weeks and the light came back on. I called Mo and he told me to bring the car back in. However, I'm out of money at this point. I finally lifted the hood of my car because the car still smelled and I was beyond stressed now. When I lifted it up, I immediately noted that the heater hoses had NOT been changed. They were still the same hoses that were in there when I initially brought it in to Ace. He charged me about $50 for both hoses and about $150 for installing them. Oddly, I had a guy detail my engine before any of this so I have great pictures of those hoses before I brought it into Ace. So I have pictures before and after and they are the same hoses and there is antifreeze obviously leaking from the one hose. So, I communicated with the CAP program and they sent me to an auto repair that both smogs and repairs

Brought our car in for a check engine light, the mechanics and Ace explained the codes that were coming up and what they suggested we do next to check before they had to do some major work, but they communicated with us and explained. We had to do some major work, a catalyst converter and other things, but Mo, the mechanics, and the owner Sal really did help us from start to finish. When we got the car back, we heard a few noises from the catalyst having 2 pieces to it, called them back and they brought it back in, fixed the issue, at no additional charge. Will be coming back with our other cars!

My car was making a really loud noise. I took it here to get checked and everyone was so helpful. They told me it was the oil change and as soon as they did it the sound was gone. They were very quick and have GREAT customer service ! Will definitely be coming back for any other issues I have! I'm so thankful I found Ace Auto.
