I’ve been so impressed with the entire staff at All Paws Riverside Animal Hospital. Their office is clean, friendly, bright and cozy. My family has been fostering a sweet pit bull for about 4 months and we needed to have him get neutered before he gets adopted. He always comes out smiling and wagging his tail.Dr. Fred was great - he doesn’t try to upsell you like other local vets. I highly recommend them - Jo Jo runs the front office is so organised and always remembers people and their pet names! ?

Very nice staff, I was late and they still got me in. I've taken both my cats there. 1 of them can be a handful and they had no issue. I would recommend them and plan to continue use them .

I will say, the new vet we took my dog to was able to get to the bottom of my dog's issues based on the T4 test; her elevated TSH level is indicative of hypothyroidism. So months of not knowing, when the original senior profile done in August 2022 could have led us to this at that time with a follow-up T4 blood test, instead of waiting till 14 months later. Definitely glad I switched so our dog can finally start to feel better and have some relief. If anyone wants to verify my dog's medical records from either vet and/or receipts for services, feel free to reach out to me and I will provide.

I walked my dog to this location this afternoon because I had no car to take him straight to his vet. My dog out of nowhere started having a very different dry cough like he has something stuck in his throat and got very agitated, he seems like he also has problem breathing when this episodes happen, so I rush him here since it was close to home but unfortunately they said they can’t help him because they’re by appointment only! Hello it’s an en emergency and this place says it’s an animal hospital!!! Even when my dog had an episode right in-front of them they seem not to care, I ask if they can just do a quick check up to see if t’s an emergency or not but they couldn’t because we didn’t had an appointment. That shows how much they care for our fury babies…so no I will not recommend or come back to this place.

I've been a long time patient of All Paws, but not now. After reading some of the latest reviews, I am now questioning and rethinking the care my pets have been given. Reading that an employee was willing to LIE about having to repeat labwork due to another employees error, is unacceptable, irresponsible, and ethically unsound. HOW can anyone think THAT is an acceptable action? Did the office manager Jerri take ANY action against the employee who suggested it? Doubtful. Was there ANY offer of apology or an offer to give ANY sort of credit for the repeat of tests and inconvenience? I KNOW for a fact that their lab tests are quite expensive--a credit of SOME SORT should have been the first course of action to make amends. And this lady's dog suffered with diarrhea for how long? Unbelievable. Then the women whose pup was examined in the back, and came back acting strangely? I'm with her--I WANT to see my pet be examined in FRONT OF ME, to ensure nothing is missed. Just these two reviews make me question as to the thoroughness of "in the back exams". The majority of us consider our pets family, and when you're at the doctor's, and esp at your children's appt at the doctor, they are examined in FRONT OF YOU IN THE SAME ROOM. Do we know they're getting the proper vaccines? Are they examining the pet if there's a specific issue going on? WE HOPE SO. (Which is NOt acceptable to HOPE they see the problem). Just these two issues makes a person wonder what the heck has changed within this business. And things have DEFINITELY changed. And not for the better. They also have a new phone system that you now have to CHOOSE which action or type of appt you are wanting, and pressing #6 to reach someone--good luck. No answer and you have to leave a message that MIGHT be returned by the end of the day. (may I add that for prescriptions and vet tech appts, you have to leave a msg). It seems that the front office personnel can't even handle the phones, so maybe that's why they've gone to a new system. I've read numerous reviews, yes some are favorable, they swear by them. But, it's those less than 5 star reviews that are concerning. I'm also going to be looking into getting a new vet, as the review about wanting to LIE about a test screwup is stuck in my craw. I honestly wonder if Dr. Fred even knew it'd happened, and if so, what was his opinion? I personally have no issues with Dr. Fred---he listens and is willing to incorporate not just his suggestions and care, but mine as well. But something in the office has changed over the course of this past year; whether it's inner-office issues or that they are so overwhelmed with patients that mistakes are now becoming a frequent issue. I don't want to have one of my pets become a "casualty" over a mishap in their office. .

My family is not new to All Paws, in fact we have had our pets seen there since they opened. Not sure what has taken place as of recent, but I will no longer be recommending them to anyone and taking my pets elsewhere. Our family adopted a new pet into the family and due to them being stressed out over the changes that were making them vomit and have diarrhea, so we wanted to get them seen. We were lucky enough to get an appointment on a Tuesday. It was decided based on the history of the new pet to run bloodwork and fecal tests. Though it was estimated our new pet was most likely not even 2 years old, I was charged for a senior panel of bloodwork ($228 in case anyone is wondering). Samples were taken and we would get a call with the results. Well the next morning we are informed that the samples were tossed in with the laundry and we would have to get them back in to get samples taken again. So not only inconvenience us to have to get our pet back into their clinic, but stress out the animal even more. During the fiasco of having to take our pet back in, a comment was made that the tech was going to lie to us and say the lab messed things up. This comment is the top reason we will be looking for a new vet as now how can you trust anywhere that would even think that was okay. But even worse is the diarrhea issue did not resolve. We were given one thing to try on a Friday that was only temporary and called in on Monday to inform them the diarrhea was still an issue, we were told to use probiotics, because the new vet did not feel comfortable prescribing a medication we have had prescribed in the past with our previous animals in conjunction with the one we were given on that Friday because it is just a "temporary fix." We were told they had gotten the set of probiotics in that we could try as that would be a long term fix, but the funny thing is when they sent over what it was, it says directly on the packages "temporary relief." I also want to say that the Friday I went inn to pick up the medication, I was given attitude by the person at the desk. Then to top it all off, I asked to speak with the office manager, who did return my call, but number one did not ask how my pet was even doing at this point, two had an attitude from the moment we got on the phone, four felt that it was more of an inconvenience on the person that transported our pet to and from to the vet as opposed to our pet who had to be stressed out a second time due to their lack of organization and last but certainly not least five did not even say they would investigate about the comment made in regards to lying about what actually took place with the samples. I am sorry, but there is no way I would ever be able to trust what comes out of any of their mouths again at this point. Trust at your own risk.

The most important thing to know about this office is that the vet won't examine your pet in your presence. I was left alone in an exam room...? My dog was taken to the back. She was behaving oddly when she was returned to me in the exam room. The vet & techs had zero interaction with her in my presence. I have no idea what happened in the back. There was no one to verify that a rabies vaccine had been administered or her temperature taken. For a first-time puppy visit, it was a very weird experience. If you prefer a hands-off approach, this is the place for you. If you're accustomed to being present for appointments & exams, I don't recommend coming here! Also, this vet will not spay/neuter any dog 40 lbs or more.We decided to look elsewhere for veterinary services.Three stars for a clean facility & nice location.

I was going into a local business this afternoon and could see a sick cat hiding his face in a corner wall outside the business. One of the workers inside told me he had been out there all day. As an animal lover I always carry animal food and water in my car and I went to try and give it some but it wouldn't take it and its breathing was very labored. It was well over 100° outside. It did not appear to have been hit by a car. I knew that there was a veterinary office directly across the street so I ran over there to get some help. I explained the situation and was told that there was nothing they can do to help because the doctor wasn't there, only technicians and office staff. I questioned her again that there was a dying animal basically outside their door and they would they not take it in and try and help it? They told me no. They told me to call animal control but they are closed at that time. Completely disappointed in the zero effort or compassion from this place to help this animal. I would definitely never take my animals here.

I'm sure I'm going to shoot myself in the paw by writing this review by potentially adding to my wait time for getting me into into see my vet, but I just gotta say that the All Paws staff and vets are the most amazing, helpful and caring pet professionals. And they give us treats!Signed, Wallace and Winston. (woof woof.)

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years and after this appointment today, we’re not coming back.I sent my partner over with my pup for her allergy shot. We had an appt and everything was fine up until the actual appointment. Ive seen other reviews on here mentioning the amount of time these appointments have taken because their short staffed, so i get it. But if this is the case then you guys need to be taking less appointments or hiring more people. My partner was there for over 30 min before someone came in to let him know that our pup needed to have another exam before getting her shot again. He’s got a schedule too and part of the reason we value making appointments is so we can work this within our schedule in a way that’s fair for everyone. And even it being short staffed is understandable, but he was ignored. Because sure enough when another lady came in with her dog for her appointment, she was prioritized. The staff was going on and on about these decorative plates she brought in for the receptionist and was seen right away despite having gotten there much later. It’s one thing to be short staffed, it’s another thing to disregard customers because you’re intentionally prioritizing clients for personal reasons. And that’s not even the reason we arent going back. The main reason is because despite the appointment wait being an issue , you guys have them waiting with absolutely no AC in the building. The receptionist said this was because the owners feel it isnt hot enough outside to do anything about a broken AC. Well it’s almost 90 degrees today, so when IS it hot enough? You guys have animals being kept by you in conditions that a human finds intolerable. If my partner is to the point that he’s saying something about it, what about the dogs coming out of surgery? What about sick ones? Dehydrated ones? This is why i will not be bringing my dog back there. You guys are totally ok with having those animals back there, stuck because they cant just leave or take off their coats. We cant trust you with our dog.And shame on the owners for having your employees stuck with these conditions too. Im sure it’s uncomfortable for them. And for what? Because people who probably arent there most of then time dont feel it’s hot enough outside?
