This store plays favorites & does not even give fair offers based on current value even when showing them the prices on THE SAME VALUATION PRICE INDEX (which is “PriceCharting”) they use to determine offers when selling merchandise to them. They are thieving crooks, plain and simple. Last time I visited to help their inventory by selling them a few popular video games, I mentioned the current market rate ($10)to them right before the evaluation & went to see if they had any good books to read while waiting. After about 5 minutes they texted me an offer of $0.10 for the game I had checked for them right before the evaluation. They don’t even test the games to make sure there are no problems. Just arbitrary lowball buying offers where they try to gouge you instead of profit share. Avoid selling to them at all costs. Or it may cost you dearly. eBay > Bookoff all the way.

You can find some good stuff in sections that are auto-curated (classical, jazz, criterion) but everything else is mostly stuffed with garbage, especially books.

Great place to buy used books, manga, and anime figures, but don't expect to get back what you paid for if you sell items to them.

So nostalgic! Love this place ❤️ I loved the old games, DVD's, books, CD's.. I have been there 3 times and I still haven't gone through everything they have. There's always something new i find here. They're hidden treasures of our past (childhood)

A collectible store they sell anime, manga, video games, figurines, vinyls, books, movies, DVD, blu-ray, 4K, and more. You can also sell items, but you’ll need a ID, and check their website to see what they can accept

If you’re coming to sell don’t expect much. I brought 6 dvd box sets and was offered $27. While looking around and found one of the same box sets I had brought in for $60. Basically buying my copy for $4.50 and selling it for over 10 times more. I thought GameStop was bad.

I really like going here once in a while because it has very good prices on old Japanese games. It is very clean and a good place to get Manga, DVDs, Blu-ray, games(new and old), toys/action figures, and physical music media. But my main grudge are the prices on consoles, like 125 dollars for a ps1. All in all very good story and nice staff

The have a wide selection of books and they're still just sitting there because the book part is closed. I doubt they'll ever get rid of their inventory, and so it sits.
EDIT: 1k view thanks 🙏. Anyway, they converted it into a cafe, so you can basically go to the cafe literally next door if you don't like it. So dumb
