They do not let you order a whole/large sandwich and make it a combo. You have to order half a sandwich to be "eligible" to purchase a combo (chips and drinks) according to the cashier. What kind of business does this? Who eats a sandwich without chips and a drink? Who intentionally avoids making more money? P.S. we've been coming here for over 20 years and have only experienced this with newer staff members. The older lady will do it, but not the younger staff members. What gives? We have always ordered a whole sandwich and bought chips and drinks on the side. Management needs to get on top of this otherwise you'll start losing your regular and loyal customers.

Fresh ingredients and consistency must be the magic that makes these sandwiches taste so amazing!!! Love the book vibe they have going on and the lady up front Ms.Josette is hella sweet and always has a great attitude! Thanks Butchs the wait is definitely worth it!!

I ordered one 12 inch cold sub and it took them 17 minutes to make it and there was only one order in front of us. They even has at least 3 employees working at the time. Also, there was not enough inside the sandwich compared to how thick the bread is, especially for how expensive they are.

Came to try this local spot and absolutely loved it. I want to point out that the most amazing part of this place is how much the customers love it and how amazing the services. They do a great job of keeping the prices low and they deliver high-quality sandwiches. They have a lot of tasty stuff, including dessert and all the best sides. I absolutely love the potato salad and the macaroni salad was good too, my mom had a pastrami and it was delicious and I got Italian sandwich. We also gifted the rest of our family carrot cake and they absolutely loved it. We will definitely be visiting more often.Vegetarian options: This place will definitely cater to you taking out meat. They are so kind and you can build your own sandwich.

Haven't gotten a bad sandwich ever. I recommend Butch's ultimate Italian or egg salad on Squaw bread. My husband likes the meat ball and the Macaroni salad.

Stopped here on the way to LA on Christmas Eve. Had a delicious hot meatball grinder and Italian sandwich special of the day per worker recommendation! ?

Just like I remember it as a kid. Good sandwiches, decent clam chowder, and they still have the New York Seltzers. No wait on a Saturday after a Mt. Rubidoux run. Eating out is pricey just about anywhere now, so it's a very rare treat. But hopefully enough business comes in to keep our local spots going.

As a 20 yr. customer. I ordered turkey sub. The sub was cut in half. One half “fresh” bread looked great. The other half was old, dry, flakey. I called and complained and as always when you call in the evening you get RUDE customer service. Then you would during the day which is always friendly. So they took to “separate” pieces of bread one really old and one fresh. Next time would wish to have same sub from the same loaf. 20 year customer I’m done. They lost a very loyal customer. Eating out anymore isn’t worth it at all. Terrible service and way over priced.
