Cashier woman named antoinette who claimed to be manager gave me a serious attitude about putting my EBT card in manually. I've been going to this location almost daily for groceries since 2016 and have been putting my card in manually for at least one year with no issues. She threatened to cancel the transaction after i told her "you dont want to do your job? then made me show my Driver's License (never has that happened to me). at the end of our encounter, I tell her she should find a job she enjoys, and she tells me to go and get a job and to stop using food stamps. I was beyond humiliated. Me and my family has been supporting stater bros all our lives and I've spent every penny of my food stamps here just to get this this is return? I'll be calling corporate tomorrow.

The employees are rude here, the restrooms are filthy, there was feces on the floor, pee all over the floor, it was disgusting. Needs better management

Most of the employees and the female security guard are wonderful when it comes to customer relations.

I've never had a problem at this stater brothers, until about 2 weeks ago. So I'm in line waiting to get a money order to pay my rent, I go up to the money gram line and ask for a money order for 3100, the cashier then says he needs to get a manager because it's a big transaction, I was fine with since that's what they usually do when I get big money orders, how he got mrs ANTOINETTE, now let me start by saying the attitude started RIGHT AWAY, before we even had an issue with my money order, she comes up to the register, makes a big sigh and says "ok I need you Two forms of ID and your social or no money order" Now first off who Carrie's their social around in their wallet? Because I sure don't and I'm sure that's why she ended the sentence that way, I tell her that I've made money orders here MANY times and they have never needed my social just 2 forms of ID and I fill out a paper, and she says "yeah I'm not gonna do that" I say then can u get someone else that can help me because I've never had an issue, "she says there's no one else" I then get frustrated and ask for the corporate number, she then says let me get a supervisor for u, (I though there was nobody else) she gets a man who I did not get his name it might of been Jeff, but anyway he tells me that whoever did that for me before definitely shouldn't have and that he won't be doing it today, I say yeah Antoinette told me that already I just want ur corporate number now, he writes a number down on a piece of paper and I stand there and call it in front of the register, Jeff disappears, the number he gave me, disconnected, LOL, so I tell another woman the numbers disconnected she says no that number works, I say nope doesn't work, she then calls it from the store phone and says you're right it doesn't, she then calls back to Jeff who disappeared and let's me know that jeff is on the phone with corporate to make an exception for the money order. The lady that helped me however was very nice and tells me she doesn't even carry her social around. I don't understand why all of that show, when they could of just helped me like they always have before, I will NOT be returning to this stater brothers ever again. Antoinette needs to be fired, she is the rudest and based on these reviews I'm not the only one that thinks so.

This is the second time I've purchased spoiled salmon from this place. And this second time today reminded me. I could smell the spoiled fish soon as I unpackaged it. How do you have a whole meat market and sell spoiled fish. The employees all except for Chris are always miserable and complaining. This place definitely needs a thorough inspection of their store, I'm completely baffled how they even passed. Ridiculous! If you get sick and ate from the meat department this is probably why!

I have never experienced bad customer service at this location l and I'm also one not to write reviews but this time I had too. Second time I pay with cashier by the name of "Crystal I "let me just say i don't know if she's always having a bad day but never ever greets you, always has a look like she is frustrated at what she is doing all I have to say is if you don't like your job it's time to look elsewhere..I hope one of the managers at this location does something about it I was very close to ask her if she was ok, just because it seemed like she's mad/bothered..Next time I will rather wait in the longest line and avoid this Negative cashier by the name of Crystal I.

Unfortunately, this is the closest grocery store to my work so I tend to go on my lunch for a quick bite or dinner items. Each time I go in there the cashiers seem to have a chip on their shoulders. Upset and talking smack about another worker or customers in the store. Very unprofessional and sad to see it. Especially coming from a "Stater Brothers".

I like all Stater Brothers stores by default. They have been around since I was a kid. The stores are bright, clean, well stocked. The store brand items are surprisingly and reliably good. The clerks are generally friendly. But lately they're not picking good clerks. On several visits, I have heard the clerk bagging my items and the cash register clerk talking trash about the store. They don't have the common sense to know that this isn't what you talk about around customers. Save it for a lunch break or make an effort to pretend you don't want customers to hear about your misfortunes as employees of the store.

UPDATED as of 15 October 2020Disclaimers:1. Them, Covid-challenge business, Acknowledged ‐ Check! 2. Me, retired Vet, unsatisfied customer - Check! 10/15/2020 Still unsatisfied. Thanks Constance for the update.Hello everyone else! I'm adding more pictures of how StaterBros takes care of their "family" during a pandemic coupled with heatwave, and I'm adding the update from "business manager, and family member, Constance". -1 star, if only they had the burning desire to turn a complaint into an opportunity to excel and show customers what they're truly made of--maybe next time.Previous review, now the backstory.I Love this neighborhood store, but not so much today. Check out the forsaken essential Soldier; no hat, no cover--no corporate leadership. #StaterBros1 is #No2. Spoke to employees and manager, twice--to take care of their "essential Soldiers." Today, it's 102 at this location; red flag warning in effect. Corporate, if I were you, and so happy I'm not, I would get out of the air-conditioned bubble around your "owner psychology" and fix this, now.

My husband and I were in checkout when they checked his ID to pay for alcohol he wanted to to pay cash for & the remaining Groceries would go onto our connected account. The cashier (Antoinette) said it was an issue & we said that's fine he'll pay separate. She continued to be lippy and stated she was no longer going to help us as a customer. She walked away & it was rude and disrespectful. My fiancé and I said it wasn't a big deal about the purchase but her to continue by saying "it's not a big deal you don't have to get angry" I responded it wasn't a big deal but her lack of professionalism is. Following that she had the cashier behind her leave her station to complete our transaction. (Abandoning her checkstand). The Store manager (Jamie Meier) came by stating there was an issue that Antoinette mentioned. I responded the only problem here is the lack of professionalism your employees hold & their attitude. The problem should've never arised to be this large. But seeing how they responded to an issue so small leads me to never want to do business here. I respectfully walked back in to render the names of employees I was in contact with & it was unfortunate to walk back into Sarah (the other employee who completed our transaction) & Jamie (store manager) continuing to be unprofessional & gossip about the scene that was just created. I said "wow, and you guys still continue with the lack of professionalism" Jamie said he actually was talking to her about needing to go to the dentist. YA, I'm so sure that's what they were chatting about. Either way, if they were or not personal information shouldn't have been discussed during on the clock hours. As I retrieved their names Jamie mentioned "go ahead and write up a report just in case" In case what? To save their own bad attitude & protect theirselves from any backlash they should receive for treating customers the way they do. I would not recommend this Staters to any family or friends unless they enjoy being mistreated. Side note: we are both of the age of 21.

I generally love this Staters. I've been in this neighborhood for 15 years and a lot of the employees have been there as long or longer. Some are even neighbors, with kids in the same school as mine. So, yes, I love this store. I went in today and was really disappointed. The service I got from the woman who helped me was great, but two employees were hovering around the cards and the produce...one with her entire nose out of her mask (presumably shopping for greeting cards) touching her face and several cards and the other with the mask on her chin. They socialized near the back room door and then the chin-mask woman walked out of the back eating, with her mask hanging from one ear. I, in an exaggerated manner, moved my child away from her as she passed. If they do not want to wear masks on their own time, whatever. But, I haven't been to a market since March and this is exactly the thing I was afraid of. I'm assuming they're mandated to wear masks as employees of the market. I felt incredibly uncomfortable there. This will be my last in person visit there for a long long time. So gross.

I love this stater bros, it's down the street from where I live. The staff is friendly and not too nosy because I'm just trying to run an errand of getting groceries so I don't like when employees try to ask me so many questions. Checkout lines are always super fast which is why I like coming here instead of going to Wal mart. They always open another register when there's a lot of people in line.
