It would be a five star if it wasn't for cashier Tatiana she always has an attitude when you come to her line, doesn't greet you at all either just makes you feel uncomfortable. All the other employees are really helpful and nice.

This is the first bad review I have left. I was in line checking out 4 items, one of which I had a coupon for. I purposely checked out at an open lane with no line (rare) and asked the if the coupon was valid here, they scanned it, took a couple seconds and then scanned the other 3 items. That's when an EMPLOYEE got in line behind me and was complaining about whether it would take long because "she knows how it is" with coupons. I felt very uncomfortable and then she even complained when her coworker asked me if I wanted a separate bag for the dog food, she butted in saying "nobody has time for that!". I couldn't believe it because not only was I already paying, only had 4 items, etc. but she herself worked there. She was making snarky comments in Spanish as if I didn't speak it. I had to respond and tell her she seemed extremely desperate to check out her six pack of beer. Everyone else I've encountered here has been really nice but this encounter was so uncomfortable, as a cashier myself I couldn't imagine acting like that at any workplace.

Over the past year, Stayers on Iowa have continued to reduce their vegetarian selections. This week they removed four more items I usually buy to make room for diet frozen foods. I'm really mad. But they don't care. So I have to switch to Vons where they have a good vegetarian section. Staters lost me as customer after 30 years because they can't read their customers.

Service: 2*Ambience: 1*Food: 4*Value: 4*Stopped by here for the fried chicken. Which is always delicious. The issue was with the service and clientele. Yikes. When we arrived there was no one waiting at the deli counter. Asked for a 12 piece, which was on sale. Was told it would be 20 minutes as a new batch would be coming out. When I pointed out that there was plenty of chicken right there (see the picture). I was told that is only for 8 piece orders. Huh?! Asked her to clarify and she just repeated the same thing. So, I figured she must be new or confused or both. I asked if I needed to take a number or just come back? She said just come back. I picked up a few other things and came back to the counter in 15 minutes where there were no fewer than 20 people in line. I kid you not.They were passing out chicken left and right. The sale was popular. Went up to the counter and asked for the 12 piece and was told it would be another 30 minutes. WTF? I asked for a lead or manager. An assistant manager came over and she asked what I needed. I explained I was waiting for a 12 piece but was told to wait again, but it appears there is plenty of chicken. She walked behind the counter and talked to that same worker. The assistant manager pulled out a 12 piece within seconds. Thank you. Went to pay and every lane had a line. We waited in line and another person tried to jump the line across three lines. She was verbally abusive to the other clients whom she tried to cut off. She came to out line and tried the same thing. I don't think so. She started cussing at this older women that she jumped right in from of and the abuser threw her stuff down and started to talk smack the this lady. Like she was going to fight this women. What in the world? Thankfully security came by and forced the abuser to leave. Trash. I will NOT return to this place.

Hope you need food. This place is scary to come to at night. There's homeless people selling stuff inside the store. I've met like two decent employees who were personable.

Solid grocery store near UCR. I've been going here for five years never any issues. They've always had kind employees. My biggest wish is that they would rennovate it like the other stater bros I've seen with the sushi bars etc. It's been a vibe but it could use an update!:)

GREAT customer service especially by the assistant manager Mario. I went to 6 grocery stores the day before Thanksgiving looking for macaroni noodles for Mac and cheese and when I called to inquire if they had them he checked the shelf, informed me they did and help two bags for me. He was extremely friendly and I'd shop there again from this experience alone.

Excellent customer service! Was shopping and always asked how I was doing if I found everything alright very nice atmosphere and as I was putting some groceries away a young courtesy clerk Jonathan kindly asked if he could help me made things easier for me was very polite and told me to have a great day! Sometimes small things are great things and I felt very happy after I hope that boy the best I am glad Staters hires great people like him.

Honestly, I'm outraged. My boyfriend went into staters to pick up some flowers. He stood in line and paid the. tries to walk out. He was met by the security guard that asked if he paid, my boyfriend responded yes and pointed to the cashier he went to and showed him the receipt. The security didn't believe him I guess and took the flowers from his hands and walked to the cashiers to ask if he paid. My boyfriend happens to be a large black male, and I assure you that if it were me walking in that store, they wouldn't have stopped me to check that I paid for 10 dollar flowers...

If you plan to use Instacart service for curbside at this location, Do Not, Do Not, Do Not, I repeat do not! Save the hassle and drive the extra 5-10min to the Barton rd Grand Terrace. Location, much cleaner, much smoother, much faster, a much more professional staff

First time here the grocery store was clean, stocked with great prices. They have fresh hot food that taste great. Bathroom was clean and stocked you have to be a customer and they have to open the door for you without providing you with a code. Customer service was great overall great grocery store I highly recommend.
