I took my car here on the recommendation of some friends who used this service. Although they specialize in Honda's, I took my Ford Focus in which they let me know they'd take a look at anyways. They said they'd run diagnostics for me for $130 but if they can fix it, they'd waive the diagnostic fee. They were really friendly and let me know everything up front!

Full disclosure, I am not a paying customer so this review comes straight from a phone conversation.
I just called this business to get a quote for a repair. The lady who answered the phone said she was too busy to give me one. This seems odd, but regardless of how busy a business is, it should be a common courtesy to answer any inquiries.
The ratings for this business seem decent and perhaps they do great work, but if a business drops the ball from the beginning they may leave a lot of chips on the table.
I am open to updating my review in the future.

I had to put in my 2 cent after reading a very bad review. I no longer go to Ben because I moved away 4 years ago. But I started going to genuine tech in 2000 after buying 2 new honda accords for my daughters. One of their boyfriends recommended Ben. The best decision i have ever made regarding my cars is going to him. I have purchased 4 more honda and acura cars since then just because I wanted Ben to take care of my vehicles. Sitting in his shop waiting for my car I have witnessed many many people come for service and repairs. Without any doubt I can describe their operation. First, Ben is totally honest, fair, and readably priced. I really think he is so much smarter than any honda or acura dealership. And I believe his very reasonable pricing is because he can diagnose the problem from your description of what's wrong and do the repair in shorter time. Thats my experience. One thing that sets him apart from other good mechanics-he is more concerned with helping his customers than making money. That's why he has so many repeat customers. I never asked for any discounts because Ben over the years has saved me much money and headaches and gives great advice, such as directing me to the dealer when the problem he found was under warranty and not
charge me for the diagnosis.

Amazing work each time and my go-to place. Pricing is very reasonable and friendly service each time I'm there. He has replaced knock sensor, pressure hose and fixed a bunch of leaks. Glad to be a repeat customer.

I want to thank Ben the main mechanic for his honesty and great work he does every time his worked on my cars. He is honest and doesn't push you to do any another work then need it on your vehicle. I also thank him for working on my Ford F150 even tho he only Specializes in Honda, Accura & Toyota vehicles. I have been coming here for many years. He is the best and honest mechanic in the Inland Empire. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Ben

Nowadays, it’s hard to find an honest mechanic. This used to be the case with this shop. It’s actually a mom and pop shop, but a very dirty and disorganized one at that. I don’t know why they don’t advertise maybe because word of mouth sees them through but the place hygienically? It should be shut down by a state inspector. It is past the point of filthy. But you don’t go to a mechanic to hang out in the lobby of luxury. It’s faaar from a dealership. You go there because you’re supposed to be offered a way better price than dealership hourly rates. This used to be the case with this mom and pop shop but not anymore. Everything is singularly charged. They don’t give quotes to you even on paper after a certain amount of time. The rude receptionist needs to go to Customer Service school and be taught how to be polite to customers whether they call in or email or text or regular snail mail or even in person. I got my cart tuned up there three weeks ago and she was constantly on her cell phone playing games and is not professional whatsoever I think the owner used to do most of the work, but now he has another mechanic (probably illegal) do all the grunt work. There’s another female in there that’s older and she may answer the phone when she feels like, takes care of orders and parts and is supposed to call customers back. My friends have told me that she doesn’t call customers back so they lose business but what do they care? They feel they’re doing OK especially before, during and after the pandemic. My friend say that the shop has changed, AND they’re just as expensive as the dealer and what a shame to now be able to rip people off due to greed. I give this filthy shop 2 stars because the owner/mechanic does know at least hey USED to know what he’s talking about when it comes to foreign motors as his business cards do say that they are experts in Honda/Acura but once a true mechanic learns their craft? They can work on ANY foreign motor Japanese or not. my buddy says he sees Hyundai as well as Toyota as well as Lexus cars in the past My son and other family WILL NO LONGER be going there anymore. It’s WWAAAAAY too expensive, way too filthy and old business and new business actually is not appreciated any longer. But like they old saying goes: what goes around, comes around. Customers do not have to accept the abuse and the outright disrespect from their staff. They should say what they mean and mean what they say but they don’t but one day I feel it will catch up to them for a private and filthy shop to become as expensive or more expensive than a dealership is outrageous. And you’re not allowed to ask an opinion about this, or that, because the mechanic seems to be irritated when you ask for your own personal sake/knowledge. My buddies have told me that in the past they were able to bring in their own parts but somebody’s there stopped at practice and it’s not a matter of them, making a profit from it… It’s just That other rude, non-hygienic female in there tends to change their supposed policies at will and that’s not how you run the business it’s most unprofessional. Thank God I found a local mechanic in Moreno Valley if I have to drive a little further to San Bernardino, I will because it’s not just about getting my car fixed at an honest rate… It’s about the whole Customer Service experience. Genuine Tech is for the birds. They were probably good back in their day, but not anymore. So customers? BEWARE. I will be taking my Acura and Toyota elsewhere.

Bin is the best. He not only works on Hondas and Acuras but on toyota as well. Fixed a lower control arm with dealer parts without charging an Arm or leg. The most honest, knowledgeable mechanic I know. Will give you the best price for the best work.
