The service was exceptionally warm and professional. The staff were not only responsive but also maintained a friendly smile throughout, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. When it comes to the food, I must give a special shout-out to their signature grilled fish. The fish was tender and juicy, grilled to perfection. The special sour and spicy sauce added an extraordinary touch, perfectly balancing the flavors and leaving a memorable taste with every bite.Overall, this was a fantastic dining experience. Whether it’s the taste of the food, the attitude of the staff, or the ambiance of the restaurant, everything was highly satisfying. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality dining experience!

The best Chinese food around UCR! Their fish is my favorite, get the Hot and Spicy flavor please! The price is valuable for how much food they serve. And they have a lot of Chinese drink you can’t find in grocery stores. I definitely recommend this place for ppl wanna try some real Chinese food!

The food is the worst , the service is the trash est, the waiter doesn’t even give the menu and no water. I dislike the service and I refused to give tips but the manager chase us and force we to give tips if not won’t let us go. The fired rice just like cats throw up in to the rice .

Best service and food quality The server explained the menu really thoroughly. We ordered beef and pork belly skewers, short rib set (comes with a drink too!), and fish hotpot. 1. Skewers were seasoned perfectly. I've never had these types of skewers, but oh my the seasoning was so addictive :) price point is also really good!2. Short rib set had huge portions and the cold dish included in the set was so flavorful. 3. Fish hotpot (small) was more than enough for two. Portions were generous and it came in a heatable pot, so we could enjoy it hot for the entire time. Also, they have a wide range of Chinese tea/drinks to choose from!We had so much food leftover and the server packed it up very carefully. This place is definitely worth your time/money

First thing that I noticed was the ridiculous price. The skewers AVERAGED $7-$8 a skewer which I thought was quite a high up charge. We were already there so we just ordered anyways. We ordered the beef, lamb, large intestine, and fried rice which honestly were all pretty good and well seasoned, especially the large intestine which was my personal favorite. It was super crispy yet the meat inside was so juicy and tender. Would I say it was worth $8 a pop? Not really compared to other skewer places that charge $2-3 per and taste almost identical.Do note that they serve your food in styrofoam plates and small paper trays, which I don't mind but aren't the best for pictures. It doesn't matter as long as the food is good. The one thing that really threw me off was when we went up to pay, I was going to pay our order in cash and they did offer a complimentary jelly dessert for doing so. It was really delicious honestly but as I waited for them to hand us our complimentary jelly after receiving my change, they said "Did you tip yet?" "Tipping is most appreciated so please tip." I was already going to leave cash on the table as tip as I generally do in restaurants but I was just kinda thrown off by the cashier's pushy attitude. I still tipped nonetheless but would not comeback.

ratings are 0-10. 0 being bad 5 being average, and 10 being outstandingly goodFood|Portions size: 5Value: 6Taste: 7.7Speed: 4.9Service: 5.8Notes: Love the spice and flavor. they season things well and everything was cooked properly. definitely not for those who don't enjoy spice or strong flavors. definitely would go againGood for friend groups?: yes, the food served here is meant to be eaten with a group, especially the hotpot.Good for date: solid contender for the area if you both love spice and are foodies. def not a first/early date location/vibeNotable dish(es): lamb skewers, hot pot, and fried chickenLocation|Accessibility: 7 Design: 4.6Area:4Notes: Great for UCR students and those around the area wanting some pretty good tasting hot pot and dry pot. slightly off campus but it's still walkable depending on what you count as far. parking was easy with the structure in the back. just mind the speed bumps going into the structure along with the blind turn into it

Great option to have close by campus, the food itself is actually really good too. I love me some hot pot and dry pot and they do it well here. They don't mess around with the spice, so medium spicy might be pushing it for most people. The cumin spicy profile is very good.We got ours with fish and it comes with a simmering pot of an entire half fillet, spam and assorted veggies. It's a cauldron of fire you definitely need rice for but it's so soothing and warming especially on a cold day. The small easily feeds two.Not to be forgotten are the lamb skewers. Fatty spiced rubbed mostly fat skewers are threaded and grilled. Incredibly flavorful, definitely get an order to share!

We were passing by the area and found this gem. They serve legit northern Chinese food. The appetizers we tried were so flavorful (seaweed and black fungus mushroom). The fish spicy pot was really good and comes with a huge fish filet and mixed vegetables. We got it medium spicy and it wasn't too spicy, even had a hint of sweetness. The owner served us and she was super sweet and patient while explaining the menu. It's located in a plaza with other restaurants but there was plenty of parking.
