If I could give this 0 stars i would, i walked into the riverside tyler location for a return of items that didn't fit. Had the receipt and the tags attached. I was unaware the receipt given to me during the last visit was the incorrect one. The cashier (didn't get her name) was very rude, telling me i had to exchange because it wasn't the proper receipt when I told her that was the only receipt I received. She was very argumentative about not giving me my refund. I had to ask for a manager (didn't get her name either) who was then also making it a difficult process asking about the receipt. Then I even showed my transaction on my phone from 3/15 with the price that matched what was in her system and she still insisted of "having to verify my card" as if I was lying about not getting the proper receipt last time. The two pair of pants, one being ripped, and the other being too big. I just wanted my refund without getting chastised for something that wasn't my fault previously. It was a very frustrating experience and also very unnecessary. The cashier could've just utilized other options and called the manager sooner instead of having an attitude about it and the manager could've been more helpful and not accusatory over something like a receipt. It was very unprofessional and out of line.

Love H&M but wow this store was a mess. Clothes on the ground and clothes inside the dressing rooms. Clothes that were on the rack had stains. I asked an employee for help with an item and she ignored me. Maybe she didn’t hear me so I asked again. The employee wasn’t willing to help kind of brushed me off and just said no. Didn’t ask any other employee or offer to look in the back. Manager at location needs to improve employee moral. Over all just not a clean store and no helpful employees.

I purchased two jackets for a trip I was taking to Colorado. Ended up not taking the jackets so attempted to do a store return today. I stopped at a restaurant to eat first and then headed to H&M with my left overs in hand as well. At the counter, a staff member (who clearly did not want to be there) assisted me. She told me the jackets smelled like perfume and could not be returned because they were not in “original condition.” I asked for a store manager. Claudia the “store manager” came out and stated that the clothes smelled like food (but the first employee said perfume) and she could smell it through her mask. I explained to her that I did have some leftovers here in hand and that may be what she was smelling. Claudia did not meet professional standards for being a “store manager.” She told me to take the clothes home and “air them out” and come back in two days. This store is 40 minutes away from my home. It is not right down the street. Claudia was being prideful and did not want recognize her mistake. I will no longer be supporting this H&M location. Their staff is not properly trained on how to treat their customers.

Employees need to review their return policies. I was told I missed the 30 day window, even though I technically had one more day. They said I can mail my return back for store credit. Online agent said my return window actually had 30 more days and that my return window had not expired yet. Either communication is bad or they just didn't want to deal with a return. Oh well.
