There's not too many individually, owned jewelers left in Riverside. My mom was always going to one and typically the owners retired and their shops are closed now this one's great, because they fix things but they also sell things on consignment. I started coming here to bring. My boss is Jewelry in to get fixed but now I'm a customer myself. I'm a huge fan of the canyon crest shopping center it's beautiful and you can spend a whole day here! The customer service here is very good

They are very nice to clean my grandmas antique tamborin 24 k, earrings, rings, earrings for me complimentary. Never expected that. They have very beautiful pieces of jewelries in their store. Place is secure. They buzz you in. Thank you

At first, I didn't get a warm feeling when entering the store. You have to be let in bc they have to lock the door always. BUT once I was being helped, I felt like I was valued. (Although, she never introduced herself so I still don't know her name) Another important thing that happened was the clerk over priced the diamond at first (I wouldn't have known) and she corrected herself and told me the correct and LOWER price. Wow! I really appreciated her integrity and honesty. At that point, I decided to use Mardon and not look elsewhere. I also liked the idea that they have been in business for a long time and a local small business in Riverside.

I'm giving this business 5 stars with a caveat -- be sure you follow up with them if they are doing work for you. They are EXTREMELY busy, and it's just best if you stay on top of your job. If you stop in here the staff is very helpful and informative. They sold us a lovely anniversary ring (vintage) and when I suddenly lost it, they were right there with condolences, and an idea. Since they sold it to me and appraised it, they had plenty of pictures, and would re-make it for me if that was what I wanted. I did and we set on the quest on May 20, when I made a down payment. I told them I had a deadline of June 22, which was my anniversary. At first they were very attentive and sent me drawings, which I asked for some changes, and supplied another photo, and they quickly made some beautiful adjustments. This was Saturday June 11. I approved the drawing, but we had some miscommunication about the size of the replacement diamonds, so I went in to chose those, on June 14. I haven't heard from them since. I finally got word last week it would be in this week, and I delayed this review to see the work. The ring is in, and I'm BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful it is! In the end, what I need from a jeweler is beautiful work, and I got it so they get 5 stars despite what I feel is an area of development in good communication. Honestly they are so much better in person if you talk to them, and if you call or text they will get back to you when they know, but I like to hear, "we don't know but we'll get back to you as soon as we do." It turned out they didn't meet the deadline because the jeweler needed another tool to do the ring right, and he had the same difficulty with sourcing it as we are all having with shipping these days. Telling me would have made me happier while I waited, but I couldn't be more pleased with the result!

Went by to drop off some jewelry for repairs. His shop is gone. So sad. We had gone there for years. We will miss you! Always a great job at a fair price. ? ? ?

The owner was outside smoking a cigarette and seemed very inconvenient that I was coming into his shop. I told him to take his time. He didn't even take a second to look at my watch and told me it could not be repaired. I took it to another jeweler and they fixed it right on the spot.

The customer service here is excellent, they know their stuff and are friendly and helpful and patient! The store is full of unique and beautiful pieces. They also appraise jewelry and buy gold. The store is clean with ample parking.

Took my wife's ring to Mardon's for an inspection. I had a bad experience with a mall jeweler who said they would appraise it but failed to do so. I took it to Mardon's on recommendation and was quite pleased. Professional shop, good orderly process, and ring and appraisal delivered on time as promised. Fair price for work done. And excellent quality work. I will recommend others to come here.

Brought my watch to have battery replaced after finding that the jeweler next door had closed business. Since then my watch collects condensation inside glass and doesn't keep time accurately. Very disappointed as this was an anniversary gift from my husband.

I went in to buy a bracelet i saw on the website today. I was asked by the sales clerk if I needed help. I said I saw two gold tennis bracelets on your website and described them both. I said I only see one here asking, "was the other sold?" The sales clerk could not have been any ruder making a big deal about the question trying to prove me wrong by saying there were never two gold bracelets on the website. Thing is i had taken screenshots of both bracelets to compare. Why she reacted this way to the question defies logic. Perhaps they listed the same bracelet twice; not a big deal to say. The jeweler who seems a level headed guy stood there and said nothing. Absolutely Ridiculous. You lost the sale of the tennis bracelet. And I hope that sales associate also lost the privilege to serve the customers of Mardon Jewelers, whoever she was.
