Great food! Has been a sandwich gem for years and years. Grew up on JR subs from when they were 1.99 Just a suggestion for phone orders, and not trying to be nasty or rude. if you're busy and a call order comes in, offer them the opportunity to hang up and call back when it's not as busy. Instead of tying the line up forever. Some people are in a time crunch, in traffic or passing your establishment on the freeway and can't make an online order. Wasn't able to make order today. Maybe next time stomach :/

The sandwiches are good but the staff is extraordinarily rude. I won't give them any more of my business as this has always been an issue and I just can't reward a business who continues to treat people badly.

I had their Italian sub after seeing a review on Instagram. Lived up to its billing..place is family owned and.beeb there.for 25 years in a cute little mall..Italian meat.was fresh and sandwich was well balanced with veggies on condiments. Bread was good but not great. Prices good. Service friendly. Give it a try

The food is good. It takes a while to get the food and the restaurant is crowded so I don't suggest going on lunch, or if you do, call it in first. But the food is pretty

We order 3 six foot sandwiches, paid in advance and they were suppose to cut them up and put on trays. We also asked about picking up at 10am. The guy in back said not a problem. None of that happened, had to wait until 10:30am and the sandwiches were on the board. We gave the a really nice tip at the time we paid. I no longer recommend My Hero for any catering, the sandwiches are decent, but the service sucks!

I recently revisited My Hero Subs and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the manager's son. Despite a previous review, the manager's son went above and beyond to ensure my experience was outstanding. They returned to their original turkey and delectable secret Italian dressing! It has truly elevated their sandwiches to new heights. Having tried almost all the sandwiches from all over the IE, I can confidently say that My Hero Subs offers the BEST sandwiches in the area. From their top-notch ingredients to their unparalleled customer service, this place undoubtedly stands out and is once again one of my favorite sandwich spots of all time! If you're in the area this is definitely a must try! The chicken chipotle was REALLY GOOD as well!

Everything here is great, customer service is fast friendly. It reminds me of a deli back east and that is fun, so all in all great atmosphere. The food is good from their sandwiches to the salads especially the anti-pasta salad well done I really recommend this joint!!!!!!!

My experience with this place was so obnoxious, I figured I'd have to leave a review. Having never been to this place, I started to ask the guy at the register what's popular. Before I could finish my sentence, he cut me off and said "everything." I ended up ordering the 12' pastrami reuben as opposed to 6". When my order was finally done, he called out the wrong name, even though i was the only customer still waiting for food. Maybe if he wasn't downing a Whiteclaw at the counter, he would've got the order right. I thought it odd that my sandwich wasn't wrapped but in a styrofoam container. When i opened it up in car I realized the sandwich was basically two slices of square rye bread with some microwaved pieces of pastrami with lettuce and russian dressing. the meat was meager and chewy at parts as you would expect from a microwave. There was no sauerkraut like you would expect on a Reuben. i wonder what the difference between the 12' and the 6' was, since the square sliced bread was neither. At a time when you have Jersey Mike's, Firehouse Subs, and Capriotti's trying to elevate sandwiches to the next level, it's interesting to see a place that actively tries to be a sub-Subway. I'm sure this place will do fine since they got a liquor license, but perhaps maybe they shouldn't let the staff drink right in front of customers.

Since HS I have been coming here. Forever the best spot to get a sub in Riverside. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. Definitely a hidden gem!
